Ohhh where do I start with this angel? Honestly, she is an incredible photographer and an amazing woman. She's professional, talented, sweet, and very put together.

I was VERY thorough in my search for all my wedding partners, and the most strict on our photographer. I think I considered around 12 photographers. BTW I live in New York but am from Texas. I met with Sherry on one of my Austin visits. I was late to our meeting due to traffic (I forget how bad it can be since I don't drive in NY!). I was frazzled when I arrived at our meeting, but she immediately calmed me down - she had a brownie and a beverage waiting for me. So thoughtful!

Our meeting went well and I was pleased to book her before someone else snatched her up. She was responsive (even though she's a very busy lady), accommodating, flexible, and kind. She worked with me to create a custom package and was very fair.

The wedding day came, and again, she was great to work with. The wedding day was a bit chaotic - no more than your usual wedding day craziness, I'd say. But she and her second shooter were on top o fit. One example, she was on time (early in fact) but the florist was late. So we were slightly behind schedule since we couldn't start taking photos with me in them until my bouquet arrived. Regardless, she handled it all with grace, made decisions and took charge to make sure things continued to move forward. And she kind of shielded it from me - which was great so I didn't freak out. I had a great time taking photos with my family, friends, and husband.

Working with Sherry only got better even post-wedding. (I know I'm really gushing about her but she deserves it.) She worked with me and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, which we completely are! Bravo, Sherry Hammonds, for being a pleasure to work with, and for being very talented!

I seriously can't express how awesome Sherry is. I live in the Houston area, but got married in New Braunfels. When I googled weddings at my venue, her blog came up. Looking through her photos, you feel like you were a guest at the event. She is so attentive to detail, and captures everything so beautifully. I had a list of recommendations for photographers that were in our budget from my wedding planner, but when I saw Sherry's name; I was so excited before I even contacted her to see if she was available to shoot our wedding. & as fate would have it, she was. ( lucky me :) Sherry didnt fall short of any expectations. We are a laid fun, laid back group ( which can be difficult to work with, since we are sometimes more like kids;) She is professional , down to earth, and a fun gal to work with. I get sooooo many compliments on my pictures, and still smile, laugh, and tear up when I look through my pictures; as if I was there that day again. I can't thank her enough for capturing the best day( to date) of my life, in such a stellar way!

Sherry was amazing! She did our engagement photos, my bridals and our wedding. The pictures were beautiful and she took so many of them! I am so grateful to her and her staff for capturing every moment! Highly recommend if you want a photographer that listens to what you want, but also has enough experience and ideas to ensure you get even more than that!!!!

what can i say!? i want to get married every day (to the same wonderful man) just so i can keep collecting beautiful pictures! sherry is the best at what she does. my favorite thing about her is that she LISTENS! she understands that every bride is only a bride once and she truly shares in your special day. she genuinely wants cares about what the couple wants and whats important to them because not every wedding/couple is the same. i felt totally confident in my decision on hiring sherry when the wedding day rolled around. theres a million things to be stressed about when planning your big white day, but if you hire sherry your photography will not be something to stress over. you can just enjoy the moment and she will capture it!

Sherry was absolutely amazing! Since we live out of town, she came to our grooms dinner at the Salt Lick instead of the engagement session from the package. It was really fun to do a few pictures of us in "normal" clothes, but also get some pictures of our guests too. I haven't seen our pictures yet, but I know they will be great based on all of her work we've seen already. We had so much fun with her and we can't wait to see our pictures!

Sherry Hammonds is amazing! She not only takes beautiful pictures, but she is flexible, willing to listen, and gives you exactly what YOU want. My husband and I wanted a photographer that was a bit artsy and not afraid to step out of the box. For instance, when we were taking our wedding party pictures outside our venue, Sherry suggested that we walk across the street to the laundry mat and take some pictures in front of spinning laundry. We LOVED this idea and these pictures turned out to be some of our favorites!

Sherry was a wonderful photographer! not only does she have the great personality but she is creative. My wedding pictures were a hit and until this very day i always get asked "who did your wedding pictures." Usually they want to know so they can use her too. Sherry was a pleasure to work with and I know that she would not give any less the 110% for your next occasion!

Sherry Hammonds is AMAZING! I got the most beautiful photos that were unique and fun and totally reflected my personality and style. Sherry is very professional and listens to what you want... most of all she is super sweet and makes the shoot relaxed and fun (which is important is you have a husband who is camera shy!)

She is priced reasonably and you will NOT be dissappointed in what she will put together for you! She has done several photo sessions for me, including my engagements and wedding photos. She worked so hard at my wedding and got some amazing pictures that I can be proud to show off. I always get a lot of compliments from people about all my photos and it is because Sherry really knows what she is doing and she does it very well.

I can't say enough good things about Sherry Hammonds! She was the photographer at my best friend's wedding, and when I saw her wedding pictures I knew I had to have Sherry as our photographer too. The quality of Sherry's work is incredible, and she has such a unique and fun style. We are so pleased with our engagement photos (we haven't gotten our wedding photos back, but I've seen a preview of them and they are fabulous). We have received a lot of compliments from our friends and families. Sherry is also extremely easy and comfortable to work with. I highly recommend her!

Sherry was by far my favorite vendor from my wedding. She made my bridal portraits SO much fun and made me laugh (therefore I had REAL smiles!) She was layed back and not bossy at all. She had a great personality and genuinely wanted the pictures to turn out perfect. I was so happy with my photography because of Sherry's art. It really is art. She was so discrete at the wedding, that I hardly remember seeing her there! She is very quick to respond to email and gets the pictures back to you asap. I LOVED her and you will too!
