I am a wedding/portrait photographer living in Surfside Beach, SC. I love working with people and telling their stories through my camera. I love to travel, I am a dog person and I love ice cream! Out of all seriousness though, I love what I do. I think it is rare for someone to say that about their work. But I truly enjoy what I do for a living. And I feel that it shows in the work of a photographer when they enjoy what they do. And that is why I do what I do... OK I will stop saying "do"! I have been in the business of weddings for the past 10 or so years and it has been quite a ride. People ask "Why do you do it?", and I say "I am living vicariously through every couple I photograph just awaiting the day that I will ever get married". <cough cough yeah... some day> But I jest. I just enjoy weddings. I went to school to be a photojournalist and I came out a wedding and portrait photographer... Who knew? But I still am that photojournalist I dreamt of being. I am telling stories through my camera. And fun stories to boot! And believe it or not, every wedding is quite different than the next, which keeps things quite fresh for me and my A.D.D. <self diagnosed>. So in the end, I am here... I have the gear... And, I don't know where I was going with that. But spread the word!
