 So, the first thing to know about me is I hate writing about me. I’m not sure why, but the process of putting together a BIO feels a little like a trip to the dentist office. I guess I’d much rather talk about you. That said, you’re here so you must be interested and I’ll try and make it interesting so that’s worthwhile.

People ask me about my style. I guess I would say my style is Sara France’s style. That’s not to be trite, but I don’t want to trap me or you in any one box that might limit what we can do when we’re together. Most of my images will be journalistic in nature. You won’t see me or know I’m there, because I’m focused on capturing you in the moment. To me, no image is more captivating than the spontaneous tear or laugh or loving embrace. That said, I believe this should be fun too, so when the time is right we’ll set some shots up to make sure we get something great of everyone.

I shoot where I live - here in beautiful San Diego, but have also shot all over the world. So if you’re going somewhere and want me to come along, that can certainly be arranged.

Lastly, you may be interested to know that my work has been featured in a number of local and national publications, including Modern Bride and San Diego Style Weddings and that I’m an active member of the professional photography community, speaking at trade shows and speaking about fun technology for Apple Computer as an Aperture ambassador as well as hosting my own Podcast.

Sometimes people like lists - so here’s a quick list of things I love .. besides photography since that’s kind of a given ...

I love the color red. (Just in case you didn’t already figure that out!)
I love my dog, Bodie. He’s great company during long nights in front of the computer.
I love Sushi.
I love putting on a great pair of jeans.
I love sunny days. (which is why I live in San Diego)
I love to laugh and cry at romantic comedies. (I’ll freely admit that I’m a total sap!)
I love Chai Lattes.
I love to dance, and sing and sometimes I love to dance and sing at the same time.
I love all things Apple.
