Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
Any of the photos can be converted to black and white, sepia, or selective color.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
My favorite weddings are on the beach. While late afternoon gives the best light, I've done weddings at high noon with harsh sun. I've learned several tricks to make the photos look their best.
Is your media preference film or digital?
I shoot all digital.

There are two of us for every wedding
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
While there is no guarantee that something won't happen on the way to an event, I do everything possible to be there. If something comes up in advance, I will make every effort to find a suitable replacement. I am a member of the Delaware Professional Photographer's Association and would call on them and several photographer friends in an emergency.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I do no more than one wedding a day.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
My assistant could stand in my place if something happened last minute, but if I know ahead of time I would call on several photographer friends of mine.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Whatever I need. Generally, it's my cameras, lenses, and flashes, but I also bring studio lighting if I think I'll need it for the formals.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Everything I have has a backup in case of a problem.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
My packages are based on a set number of hours with additional hours available for an extra charge.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Just enough time to eat.
Do you charge for travel?
If a wedding is more than two hours away, yes. Destination weddings are charged additional travel expenses.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
I have a preview of the photos online in a couple days and all photos online within two weeks.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Initial proofs are done online, but a proof book is also prepared with 16 images per page.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Proofs stay online for one year and the couple can keep the book forever.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes, I retain the copyright for all my work but I do give printing permission to couples with some packages.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Digital files are included with my upper package or can be purchased a la carte.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes.
What kind of albums do you offer?
I use Zookbinders flush mount albums and Ventura albums
When will the client get the final album?
Usually within two months of ordering the album.
