I am not exaggerating when I say that I could NOT have done this without Debbie from Eastern Shore Events. Debbie is amazing! She stuck it out with me through think and thin; it did not matter what time of day or night it was, she was always there when I needed her and sometimes even when I didn't know I needed her. She is very easy to communicate with and whenever I was going crazy she still had a level head. On the day of, I did not worry about anything because she handled EVERYTHING from deliveries to decorations. My wedding turned out beautiful and all my guests loved the food, the decor, the ceremony, and the awkward but enthusiastic dancing that followed. If it weren't for Debbie I would not have enjoyed my special day.....I would have been a wreck! I cannot thank her enough for her participation in my wedding.

From the moment we contacted Eastern Shore Events, we knew it was a perfect match for us. Debbie communicated fast & answered all questions from the get go. We planned our wedding in less than 2 months. We searched for a gay friendly company to work with on our big day. It was a perfect beach wedding, with over 40 guests. The set up was beautiful & classy. She took our vision & made it a dream come true! Debbie was a sweetheart & AMAZING!!! My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Debbie from December 2016 up until our wedding on August 26, 2017. She was simply amazing and helped us make our day everything we wanted. We could not have done it without her. She helped ease our stress during the planning phase and the day of we both felt super calm with her around. She became family over the course of planning and it felt like having a best friend with us through it all. My wife and I both agree that the best thing we did was hire Debbie for our wedding. We absolutely LOVED our whole experience with Debbie Wayland and Eastern Shore Events! My fiance' and I got engaged around Christmas while he was across the country for the US Navy. Thanks to Debbie, she was able to give us the most beautiful and personal wedding just 5 1/2 months later when he returned home! We loved how she gave us a timeline of when we would need to have items picked out like the photographer, DJ, cake, menu, attire, favors and final headcount. Debbie gave us recommendations for each vendor let us choose the ones we liked best. We loved not having to look up vendors on our own and knew she was sending us professional and personable vendors.

Originally, we thought we would have a wedding with only 30 people and no bridal party but it grew. We ended up having 60 people, 3 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen. As we made these additions, Debbie always reassured us everything would still work out perfectly and it did!

Since our wedding location required everyone to travel, Debbie helped make it more of a vacation. Each guest got welcome bags that Debbie supplied goodies for and she arranged a beautiful welcome dinner for 30 guests the night before the wedding. This time was priceless and we really got to spend time with our loved ones.

With our input and her excellent guidance, Debbie took care of everything from the location, menu, cake, photographer, DJ, favor ideas down to my hair and make up for the wedding day. We got to be as involved as we wanted and Debbie always found ways to work with our ideas on a budget.

Debbie was so fun and easy to work with! EVERY time we met, we felt like she had known us for years! She asked me to start a pinboard to organize our ideas and then send her photos of what we liked. Sure enough, she made that pinboard come to life and everything was the way we had imagined it! We were sad to leave our wedding weekend because everything was so beautiful, personal and memorable thanks to Debbie!

Hiring Debbie to coordinate our wedding was the best decision we made in our planning process. She was creative, flexible, reliable and worked within our budget. As I was busy getting ready for the ceremony, it was such a relief knowing that Debbie and her staff would make sure everything was ready for the reception. And I mean EVERYTHING, down to the placement of cocktail hour food and making last minute ice runs to assembling the fire pit (something I had meant to do but completely forgot about) and sweeping the dance floor.Her recommendations for the caterer, DJ, and tent/rental company were all spectacular too.
