Describe your DJ style:
I'm a professional MC and Host and I've been lucky enough to mix in clubs and events all over the U.S. giving me the skill set of a DJ who can adapt on the fly and I want you and your guests to have Fun!
What is your usual attire?
We dress appropriately for each event. In most cases a basic black suit.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
If you choose to provide us with versions and artists you like, great. We never expect the Bride and Groom to provide Music, that's what we do.
How many other DJs do you work with?
We're proud to say, the Dj you hire is the DJ on the day of your event, DJ Bob has never missed a contracted event.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
Our basic package includes 5 hours of playing time.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
YES! We believe it's very important to get to know our clients in person whenever possible.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
We love to see Culture and Family heritage play a part in any event. We'll be happy to work with you to get it just right.
Do you bring your own equipment?
YES. We have great equipment. We also have back-up equipment available at all times.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
For events that go into the evening, we provide dance floor lighting with our system at no additional cost. Special Requests? just ask.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
We ask for access two hours ahead of playing time but can set up quickly if needed. We are free standing and have our own table.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
No, however please remember to set us as close to the dance floor as possible.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
We professionally Host and MC as needed to maintain the flow of the event. The style of the Bride and Groom is the key, and words never take the place of a full dance floor.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
With some exceptions, as a rule, we don't eat at our events. However Cake is good, We like cake.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
We have a network of local, professional DJ's who work with each other just in case.
What is your overtime rate?
$200 per hour.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
Over 100 miles, we charge a $125 travel fee. Because many of our events in other areas (LA, SF, LV, AZ) some events require additional travel fees and / or hotel stay.
