Awesome DJ

DJ Bob was the absolute best. We received so many compliments on our DJ from our guests. DJ Bob kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night. He struck the perfect balance between the genres and helped our night run seamlessly. DJ Bob took time in advance of our wedding to get to know us and we truly enjoyed working with him. Husband, Dad, DJ, Legend

Having DJ Bob play some of our favorite music and M.C. our wedding day was an absolute pleasure. As a fellow wedding vendor, seeing DJ Bob in his element many times before made our decision to have him be our DJ easy. Not only did Bob do an excellent job communicating about our music preferences, he has a distinguished M.C. style, and uses extremely high quality equipment. The music and speeches sounded crisp and clear with no muffled sounds or crackles. He even brings some “up-lighting” in addition to the normal dance-floor lights to add some more ambience to the venues he plays at. DJ Bob absolutely made our wedding awesome, AND he’s one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. Such a kind man with a contagious smile.

DJ Bob really brought the party - from the ceremony all the way to the farewell at our reception! We appreciate DJ Bob keeping the energy high and fun during the cocktail hour and reception, and he was able to deliver on all our special requests (speech walk up songs, custom themed playlists, and obon dance). DJ Bob really went above and beyond to ensure our wedding moved smoothly with his MC skills.

Amazing atmosphere - fun to work with!

DJ Bob was a dream come true in the DJ world! He was such a great guy to work with to help create the exact atmosphere we wanted for our special day! We worked together over the phone to coordinate timing and music selection and he took it from there! He was our MC for the evening and hosted the cake cutting too! Everyone had a blast dancing at our wedding and that was definitely thanks to him - he IS THE BEST!

DJ Bob is the BEST

DJ Bob DJ'd our wedding in November 2021 and he was absolutely incredible! We met with him beforehand and chatted about what kind of music we wanted, he listened and provided some great input, and then proceeded to absolutely nail the music day of! He was so much more than a DJ because he essentially hosted the entire evening, making flawless transitions between the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, cake cutting, and first dances. We also hired a band and DJ Bob worked flawlessly with them too, and even provided them some awesome lighting. We had multiple guests come up to us during the evening complimenting our wedding music. I would hire DJ Bob a million times over and will be sending all my engaged friends his way.

The best DJ! So fun!

DJ Bob was the best! He listened to what kind of vibe we wanted for our wedding, and made it happen. He helped move things along per our timeline, ensured guests had fun, and entertained everyone while keeping it classy. He got everyone dancing for the whole night. He even created a special mix for the father daughter dance, to combine 2 songs into 1. He was the best and we highly recommend him!

We loved having DJ Bob at our wedding! He did an incredible job at making sure the atmosphere was always right, people were entertained, all the important announcements were made and all the sound equipment was ready to go. So much fun

DJ Bob exceeded our expectations! I must tell you that he has quite the following and oh does he ever deserve it. We met him at a vendor fair, with a line of other people (he’s that great!), yet he didn’t seem rushed with us whatsoever. He’s personable, funny, polite and very professional. He has so many different music selections available on his site, which made it quite easy to configure our special day. And, he delivered on our requests for some options that he didn’t have on his profile. I’m telling you, he’s the best! I loved how he asked to what degree we wanted him to interact with our guests, and we went for all of it and he was so much fun. Everyone loved the music and had so much fun dancing the night away. Also, his up lighting was so beautiful and you should definitely consider this option when booking him. We are incredibly grateful for DJ Bob and hope that you honestly choose him to bring the life to your special day or event!

Best Dance Party Ever.

We planned our wedding from out of the country so did not get to meet any vendors beforehand. We picked DJ Bob based on our first interaction with him and because he came highly recommended. I knew my friends loved to dance, but I didn't know just how much they loved to dance until DJ Bob played at our wedding. We had paid for Bob until 11PM and the dance floor was so full that we ended up paying him to stay longer, it was the best dance party I have ever seen at a wedding and that was because Bob read the crowd and knew exactly how to keep the party going. He was very professional, always very responsive and we gave him just a little direction and he knew exactly what to do. Would highly recommend!

Best DJ ever!

Bob is great! He came highly recommended by several friends and our coordinator. It didn’t take long to figure out why. He is the BEST on the Central Coast

Every event I have been to that DJ Bob worked has been so fun. He keeps the guests engaged and keeps the wedding moving at the correct pace. DJ BOB IS THE BEST!!! Honestly the best!! My husband and I got married at La Cuesta Ranch, as soon as we picked our venue. We went to the Madonna Inn Bridal Fair and we walked past Dj Bob and he said something funny and we got to talking and knew he was our guy!!! He is the perfect Dj, he just gets it and totally understood us and made our wedding truly the Best Day Ever!!!! He knows how to party!! He feels the guests/ crowd so perfectly! To say that Bob was absolutely AWESOME is an understatement!!! Bob immediately read our fun crowd & with his amazingly talented abilities, he set the stage for a PERFECT evening!!! Wow!! We wish we could give DJ Bob more than 5 stars!! We got married at Ragged Point Nov 4th and he just killed it!! He went above and beyond. All the phone calls and emails he responded to right away.
We had a long wedding. Ceremony started at 1PM, Reception ended at 10PM and everyone was still dancing and didn’t want it to end. We were told by everyone that it was the funnest wedding they have been to, Thanks to DJ Bob!! I’m just still speechless at how incredible him and his wife Shannon are. If we lived closer, we would hire him for every event!! Thank you DJ Bob and Shannon!!

Wow DJ Bob is amazing! My husband and I got married at the Madonna Inn in the secret garden for both the ceremony and reception. Bob helped us fine tune our timeline, suggested song choices, made sure our entire ceremony and reception went smoothly, and entertained our guests better than I ever could have hoped! We didn't meet Bob before the big day, but it didn't matter one bit. He killed it and our guests (and us) are still raving about him. I was so impressed by DJ Bob I would hire him again in a heartbeat and will be telling everyone I know to do the same! Thank you for a great wedding, Bob!

DJ Bob is THE BEST DJ you could ever imagine!!! He and his wife, Shannon, are so easy to work with prior to the wedding and are so much helping in the planning stages with timeline and such. At the wedding, DJ Bob knows how to work the crowd like no other! He DJ'd my wedding recently and was awesome!! He was able to involve our guests in various parts of the reception in a way that made them feel included but the stay still felt like it was about it. I can't say enough about this WONDERFUL DJ. If you are looking for a hilarious, and extremely entertaining DJ who will make you feel like he's the fun uncle you never knew you had, then DJ Bob is the perfect choice for your wedding entertainment. He kept all 300 of my guests laughing and dancing literally the entire time!! So many of our compliments from our wedding were about how fun the dancing was. When I think of DJ Bob many words come to mind. AMAZING, WONDERFUL, ENERGETIC, FUN, HILARIOUS, PERSONABLE....basically he is THE BEST! I had the privilege of knowing DJ Bob prior to booking him for our wedding. I knew he was great at what he did, and that we wanted him there for our wedding, but I did not know he was going to fully exceed any expectations we had for our big day. He is so incredibly talented in tailoring your event to make it EXACTLY the way you want it. His intuition and skill on making the whole night flow perfectly was literally mind blowing. He also helped us every inch of the way in planning the overall flow of the event which was super helpful and appreciated (and well done I might add!). He has every song under the sun, and is so thoughtful in making sure every last detail is exactly the way you want it. DJ Bob is such a professional! From start to finish, our wedding went about 100 times smoother because he was there making sure there was not one problem the whole night.

The music was so fun and perfect, and he made every group activity feel fresh and new—even getting the shyest guests up to dance!

I would recommend him to any couple planning a wedding, especially if you are worried about sound quality or tech issues. He knows his stuff, so there was no sound or tech problem the whole night, (which was definitely my largest concern going in.)

Bob is the man! Couldn't recommend a better DJ.

He was quick to respond and super easy to work with throughout the whole planning process.

Neither my husband nor I know a ton about music beyond the vibe and styles we like. DJ Bob had no trouble listening to what we were aiming for and offering perfect song recommendations for all the key events.

Leading up to the wedding, Bob took the lead to ensure the day was fully planned and all the vendors were in coordination with each other. On the day of the event, Bob kept our friends entertained, while ensuring the plan of events stayed on schedule.

Once the dance floor lit up, Bob brought a party, kept things balanced for all age groups and was hysterical. We left the evening having had 3 couples ask us if DJ Bob could do their weddings.

Bob was the Dj for our wedding and he was amazing, he has been doing weddings for years and has it down. We explained to Bob that we wanted things a little more low key, no games or a lot of jokes on the mic etc. (Although if you want those things, i'm sure he's great at that too). He did exactly what we asked and was perfect! He set up amazing up-lights all around our venue (Tooth and Nail Winery) that made it come to life. Dancing was one of the most important aspects to us when it came to our wedding. Bob was great at mixing songs and keeping the dance floor full all night. Bob is a true professional and I'm really grateful he was able to DJ our wedding.

DJ Bob was wonderful to work with. He did a really good job listening to what my husband and I wanted our wedding to be like. We wanted a wide range of music to appeal to our diverse crowd. We also had a day wedding and wanted there to be a lot of dancing which everyone says is hard to do at a day wedding. DJ Bob got everyone to dance and helped the day go by smoothly. He played the right songs at the right times. He even helped us figure out what song we should walk down the aisle to after we were introduced as husband and wife. DJ Bob knows what he is doing and he was wonderful to work with. My wedding was perfect and DJ Bob played a huge role in that. I highly recommend DJ Bob for your wedding or special event.

My husband and I knew we wanted a DJ at our wedding who could really run the show, but also not overpower our reception. We were walking around a bridal faire at the Madonna Expo Center in San Luis Obispo, and we stopped and talked to a few DJs, but just didn't get a good vibe from any of them. Then, we stopped and talked with DJ Bob. There he was, our dream DJ/ Emcee! We knew it in the first couple minutes of talking to him. He is outgoing and super knowledgable in his line of business, and it is absolutely his goal to make your day what you want it to be! We wanted people to dance, and you can bet your butt that dance floor was packed! We cannot say enough great things about him. He was so responsive throughout the whole process, and he threw in all these extra surprises for us on our big day that just blew our socks off. What a great man, and a great DJ! Thank you so much DJ Bob/ Phase 1 Mobile DJ!!!

DJ Bob did a fantastic job at my daughter's wedding at Spanish Oaks. He was professional, efficient, personable and great to work with. He did a great job at emceeing, up-lighting for the venue, and keeping the wedding on schedule without feeling like we were pressed for time. The music was terrific and we had the time of our lives--thanks to DJ Bob.

DJ Bob is the best!!! He was the best possible DJ we could have found for our Santa Maria area wedding. He played great music and kept the fun going all night. Our guests had the best time dancing the night away and he kept the wedding free of all types of typically cheesy wedding nonsense. He listened to our requests and responded perfectly. We'd definitely recommend him again.

Best DJ around/ever! My husband and I got married in Santa Maria in January of this year. DJ Bob, helped make our wedding so much fun. He played the best music and at the right times. He was impromptu when we had bridal party that wanted to speak last minute. The sound was perfect! He ended up bringing extra speakers, and was completely calm.

Stop and book this DJ now! I have been to over 5 weddings this year.. and I might just be a little to proud of DJ Bob, but not one of the DJ's have come close to how great DJ Bob was!!!

DJ Bob was absolutely terrific! He made our wedding run so smoothly. My husband and I knew we did not have to worry about anything! If you're looking for a DJ for your wedding, stop RIGHT NOW and book DJ Bob! Do not even consider ANYONE else! Bob is more than a Dj, he's a timeline creator, a hype man, a party starter, an awkward moment microphone swooper (if needed).
During our first phone conversation, I knew Bob was our guy. He was genuinely interested in our wedding and the vibe we were looking for. We told him that we wanted our wedding to feel more like a party than a stuffy wedding, so he came up with some awesome ideas to interact with our guests and make them feel comfortable. Have you ever heard of "sing for your supper", probably not...but be sure to ask him when you talk to him (I don't want to give away his surprises).
Bob sends you a highly organized client portal where you can choose from a library of tens of thousands of songs that you want him to play at the wedding. This was awesome because every time you think of a song you can log in and add it to your playlist.
About a week or two before the wedding, we met with Bob to create a timeline. Bob created a timeline and emailed it out to all of our vendors. This was super helpful because we had several people asking us about where they should be and what time they should be there. This timeline covered everything!
Bob came up with a super awesome way to introduce our bridal party. He gave us some homework which was to send him a few sentences about each person in our bridal party, he then took that info and added some funny lines and announced each person as though they were being introduced at a basketball game/sporting event. This is hard to explain but it turned out amazing!
I have to admit, we made several last minute changes to our song choices and Bob had no problem rolling with whatever changes we threw his way.
Our guest are still raving about how amazing our DJ was! If you're date is available w/ Bob, don't hesitate, someone else will snag him and you'll be sorry you missed out on the best DJ of all time!!!

DJ Bob is a lifesaver! Our booked DJ informed us that his wife was pregnant and could possibly go into labor on the weekend of our wedding. He assured is, however, that he would be sure to have a replacement if that happened. We were nervous, but on the day before our wedding, we got a call from Bob. He informed us he would be our new DJ and immediately our stress seemed to disappear. He assured us he had everything he needed and that he would be there early to set up. I have to say, I'm so glad Bob ended up being our DJ. Our guest are STILL raving about how much fun our wedding was. He took care of all of the logistics, he made sure everything transitioned smoothly and most importantly, he made sure our guests had a blast! He even made dinner fun by having a contest to see who's table could sing better. The winner got to be excused for dinner first for dinner with their entire table. We love DJ Bob and although we didn't initially hire him, we would recommend him to anyone looking for a fun/party atmosphere for their wedding.

DJ Bob is one of the best. He saved our day by Officiating the wedding ( my bad ). He was supportive when it came to the planning and emotional stress. He made sure I was happy with everything. It was amazing from the start with DJ Bob. I called him with some questions and right away he answered the phone and we had an awesomeconversation. He was very fun and gave me a great idea of what it would be like to have him at my wedding. He was very professional and fun to make the perfect DJ. Really made the perfect atmosphere. I don't think we could have picked a better DJ for our wedding. Bob has an incredibly broad range in taste of music. We played everything from Old School to Country. I was highly skeptical about his plan to mix in his own music in our playlist as I am very particular about my music. Many at our wedding were older and I thought I had a grasp of the type of music to play but when he started deviating to his own mixes and the dance floor filled up I realized the knew what he was doing. Great DJ! He also met up with us on Super Bowl Sunday to go over our music selection - total professional. If we need to hire a DJ for another event we will definitely be looking up DJ Bob!! Oh - he also looks like Glenn Beck - haha

DJ Bob is just what I was looking for. As an event planner, he is my go-to guy for our corporate and my own private events. He is professional and so entertaining! He has the ability to get people up and dancing and really keeps an eye on the event timing and creates the entertainment!

DJ Bob and his wife Shannon were an absolute joy to work with! He was recommended by a friend who had him at her wedding and by my wedding planner and he was such a great choice. I love music and was completely unsure what I wanted to use for my ceremony, etc. Bob was able to direct me as well as have great suggestions. My husband and I love vocal jazz and wanted a lot. Bob found a band that did new songs in old ways and called me because he was so excited. In addition, we got a photo booth through him and it turned out to be a great hit. Absolutely loved him!

My husband and I got married in August at the Cliffs Resort in Pismo Beach. It was definitely the wedding of our dreams, and DJ Bob was a HUGE part in this! He made all of our wishes come true, and then some!! He truly did an AMAZING job and I am so glad that we chose him as our DJ!
In addition to achieving our requests in the best way possible, he also set the scene for our wedding. The wedding we always wanted. And for that we are very thankful!!
When we were in the process of choosing a DJ for our wedding, it was very overwhelming because we talked to multiple DJ vendors and were unsatisfied. BUT... DJ Bob was awesome! He kept our guests entertained throughout the wedding and played a fantastic selection of music. We were dancing until the very last possible minute. DJ Bob is the best! He was so nice and easy to talk to during our initial meeting, we knew right away that he was going to add to our wedding day and make sure it turned out the way we wanted it to.

We had a lot of eclectic music requests and I think he found every song we wanted, and he queued them up perfectly for the few that had weird intros or that went on forever.

We had an afternoon garden wedding and didn't have much hope for a huge dance crowd, but DJ Bob kept people dancing for much longer than I had thought possible, kudos DJ Bob. By the end of our wedding guests were sparse so we chose to forego the last dance and grand exit and DJ Bob tastefully ended things. His interactions with guests was outstanding and his ability to keep the day rolling along was much appreciated and well done!

DJ Bob was fabulous! We picked DJ Bob based on all the great reviews and they were not kidding! Our planning phone call with Bob left us feeling so confident that we were going to have a great DJ and we did. He had a lot of great suggestions for ceremony music and the flow of the ceremony and reception. We had a particular request for a song to be played after our I Do's and Bob made it happen perfectly. The MCing of the reception was great as well, keeping everything flowing and making everyone feel comfortable and relaxed.
The dance floor was always packed because the music was amazing all night. I never left the dance floor and I am not a dancer at all! Couldn't have asked for a better DJ, loved DJ Bob, highly recommend him!!

I don't have enough AWESOME things to say about DJ Bob, HE KILLED IT! Throughout the planning process he was hands on and super helpful. I had an odd request with my family & finance performing a few live songs then have him DJ after the live set. He set everything up early, figured out what we needed, and got it all done. I was worried about having a wedding DJ that was cheesy, DJ Bob is anything but! I also work in Music, so I know I had a lot of weird requests. He handled all my crazy questions and requests with professionalism. He's a lot of fun and he kept things moving so no one was ever bored. I think our wedding was a hit because of him. We couldn't have made a better choice. You won't regret working with DJ bob!

DJ Bob of Phase 1 Mobile DJ literally made our wedding happen. My wife and I heard about his reputation as one of the best wedding DJ’s ever. We met him at our first bridal fair and knew we had to book him immediately. We landed DJ Bob before we even had a venue. This man is a hot commodity that can’t be passed up. If a DJ is what you want at your wedding, and trust me a DJ is what you want, DJ Bob is the man. He went above and beyond the call of duty to make our wedding what it was. He helped us every step of the way with our planning. He made phone calls for us and even pulled strings when necessary. Trust me, this man is connected! He made our headaches disappear. Everyone at our wedding from other vendors to the guests could not compliment DJ Bob enough. Everyone who attended said it was the best wedding they had ever been to and I know exactly why, DJ Bob. He got everyone on the dance floor. Even those sticklers who say they never dance.

He did something special just for my wife and I; we were just over budget and wanted dance lighting at our wedding but we just couldn’t swing it. We had an outdoor wedding and knew there would only be a couple hours after dark so we couldn’t justify the cost for the lights. We were surprised when the sun went down and there was an array of colored lights illuminating the dance floor. Bob did it as a gift to us and it somehow made our perfect day even better. I would recommend his services to anyone.

I would highly recommend DJ Bob for a wedding DJ!!! He went above and beyond our expectations! When I first met Bob he said he already wanted to do our wedding because he knew Mama's Meatballs was catering and Joyfully Joined (Mary) was coordinating our wedding. He said they had a lot of experience working together so right off I knew he was a great fit for our wedding. His positive, humorous, and professional demeanor presented a perfect dj for our wedding. We love oldies and classic music so I wanted a DJ who was professional and well spoken. We definitely had our share of dancing music too but I wanted it to feel like a wedding!:)
DJ Bob added so much positive energy to our wedding night and I would highly recommend him if you are getting married in the San Luis Obispo area! We had so many compliments from our guests how they loved our DJ! He truly added so much to our wedding day so thank you DJ BOB for being an amazing DJ at our wedding reception at the Jack House and Gardens under the stars!!:)

Oh and his company has an amazing website where you can log on and pick all of your must play songs, maybe songs, and do not play songs. Overall Phase 1 was a very professional company and DJ BOB comes with my highest recommendations!!

DJ Bob is awesome! Stop looking and just book him. He has a vast database of songs and does a wonderful job of picking songs that fit your taste. I am musically challenged and usually just listen to whatever song happens to come on to the radio, so for me, picking out specific songs to play is a nightmare. But DJ Bob made it really easy. He looked over the Must Play list my fiancé had made and based on the type of music he saw there he was able to pick out most of my music for me and he was spot on.

My dad also commented on how well the sound system was set up. When on the dance floor, the music was very present and at a good dancing volume. But just a few feet away near the tables, the music was at a good background level so people could hold a conversation without needing to yell.

DJ Bob is incredible. He kept in touch with us the entire 2 years from booking to reception. My extremely detailed list of music was completely adhered too, and he made sure everyone was on the dance floor the entire night. Great communication, and they even sent us a Christmas card! DJ Bob went above and beyond every expectation I ever had of a DJ. Before the big day he spent 3 hours with me picking out songs and helping make our wedding day perfect. He really wanted to capture the essence of who we were and portray that in our big day and he did a fantastic job. Our wedding was so perfect because of this amazing DJ.
Bob surprised us at the end of the night by handing us a disk with all of our wedding songs which was so wonderful to have all in one place. Two weeks after the wedding he mailed us a disk of our recorded vows we had written. My husband is preparing to leave on another deployment and as we prepare and after he leaves our recorded vows will mean even more. If you're looking for the perfect DJ look no further, DJ Bob (and his lovely wife Shannon) are incredible and will absolutely make your event.

DJ Bob made my wedding what it was!!! He was so fabulous!! I was unfamiliar with the area and he helped me choose my other vendors. He was so easy and FUN to work with. The day of my wedding we were told that we couldn't have amplified music on the beach, so DJ Bob called one of his fellow wedding musicians and was able to get us a guitarist within a couple hours!!!! He also made my wedding the party I wanted it to be!! EVERYONE loved him and complimented him so much. Some of my guests even tipped him, he was SO WONDERFUL! I couldn't have had the same wonderful day without such a wonderful DJ and MC!!

I know its hard to believe that a vendor could get 5.0/5.0, but seriously, Bob is fantastic!!! And don't forget Shannon....Bob is able to create amazingness because of her! The two of them are a wonderful team. I'm not sure if Bob is able to wrap his head around how grateful we are for everything he has done for the family. I met DJ Bob at a bridal fair in San Luis Obispo. I took my younger brother with me to find a DJ - he isn't a huge fan of people in general, so I figured if he likes someone, then they're going to be awesome.

As soon as we started talking to Bob, I just knew he was the one. I looked over to my brother, and my feeling was confirmed with a nod. This guys was just awesome right out the gate! Great sense of humor, yet professional (some of the other DJs we met at this same fair were putting down other pros - very uncool). He had lots of experience, and it just showed in how he talked about the events he's done in the past.

As the planning process went on, I swear every time I mentioned who my DJ was people would say something like, "wait, you booked DJ Bob? I LOVE DJ Bob!" The man has a reputation for awesomeness.

Meetings with Bob were great - he had great song suggestions when asked, and really took the time to feel out my (and my hubby's) musical style. He didn't even bat an eyelash when I requested Michael Bolton's "Can I Touch You There" (inside joke between the hubs and I).

But I think the thing I loved the most is that I just felt deep down that I could give no direction at all, and he would still do an amazing job. I knew that, with him, I didn't have to worry about a thing.

And I didn't - he was on time for the wedding, got my officiant and husband set up with lapel mics, prepped my bridal party for our entrance, and did an amazing job as our MC all night. I can't tell you how many times my husband and I looked at each other throughout the night and said, "man, I love DJ Bob."

I really could go on and on, but I think you get the point. If you want to make sure your guests have a great time on the dance floor, do yourself a favor and hire Bob.

Bob gets a 5/5 and if there was a 10/5 I'd give it to him.

He is a total pro, knows how to get a dance floor going, and how to do what you want to make your event exactly what you want it to be.

When our wedding ceremony musician went down with swine flu one day before the wedding, Bob stepped in to help with ceremony music, never missing a beat.

I would recommend Bob to anyone who needs a DJ for any occasion.

Wedding- June 25th-2011
Well if your reading this you might as well stop looking for a DJ. DJ Bob is the best DJ you can ask for you! Looking for DJ could be the hardest decision you can make. Since they really control your wedding. Well lemme tell you this right as we met Bob. We new he was going to be our DJ. When someone has you laughing the whole time and knows ALL types of music! Is awesome! You could tell by his personality that he is super fun!! Well he was at our wedding!! He was actually the talk of the reception and the day after! He played the music we wanted & helped keep the crowd going when we were running late! I couldn't of asked for a better DJ! & For his wife Shannon! She is soo professional! If you need anything shes right on it, esp if I emailed her we would get a response back fast! & That was great for us, because it's hard planning a wedding when your out of state! So that was GREAT! They both are very professional! & I would recommend DJ BOB to EVERYONE! :) Also, Another reason why there so awesome is, we had to push back are wedding date due to my husbands car accident, and they would call and see how he was doing and how things were & worked with us through that process and changing our date! That meant so much to us! & We really appreciated that! Sooo again THANK YOU you guys for being so AWESOME! :)

Hilarious, fun, keeps the party going strong. We love DJ Bob. The guests commented on how fun the wedding was. He also was more than willing to adapt the song i walked down the aisle to.

Bob was absolutely amazing, he made my wedding absolutely perfect! So much of a weddings' success is dependent on a good DJ to read the crowd, set the tone for the evening, and get the party started. This is exactly what you can expect when booking DJ Bob. He and his wife are both kind and caring individuals who take the time and effort to make you feel like you are the most important couple in the world. I also LOVE that he says that marrying his wife was the best decision he ever made :) It's so encouraging as a newlywed!

DJ Bob and his wife, Shannon, are a wonderful team to work with. They were the first wedding vendors we met at a wedding fair, and we talked to them for about 20 minutes before we even got to talking about his services. He truly cared about us and who we were. Every other DJ at the fair started off with how much they cost or what they do. He always worked around my schedule for meeting times, no matter how busy he was.

Our wedding went off without a hitch. Our dance floor was packed the entire night, and we have had so many people tell us that we need to have another party just to hire DJ Bob. We might just have to do that...Thanks DJ Bob for an amazing night! You're the best!

DJ Bob was a perfect fit for us and our friends and family. He was enthusiastic, on top of things and quick on his feet throughout the night. We ended up having to move our ceremony inside at the last minute because of high winds and rain. The ceremony got pushed even further behind due to another unforeseen circumstance right before the ceremony was about to begin. Bob took it all in stride and kept the guests happy, entertained and apprised of what was happening. There were no lulls because he worked with the venue to improvise and make things work and happen on time. He was very good on the microphone and a natural with mc'ing. He's sharp and quick witted and kept things fun and light-hearted. His musical selections and mixing skills are great and like no other. He had friends and family of all ages on the dance floor having a blast. Thank you DJ Bob! You helped make our wedding memorable and a success!

DJ Bob is versatile, flexible, professional, and just plain awesome. If you have no idea about a music selection, he has dozens of ideas to help you. If you know exactly what you want, he is happy to accommodate. He will meet with you as often or as little as you prefer. He will even be a mediator between you and your site coordinator if needed. DJ Bob and his wife Shannon go above and beyond to ensure your day is everything you've dreamed and planned.

Thank you Bob and Shannon for everything you did to make our wedding the best our guests had ever been to. They're still talking about it seven months later!

DJ Phase 1, provided great service,He made my wedding! I was a little worry because I had a summer wedding and I was afraid that my guest would not dance if there was day light. We didn't stop dancing, he has great music selection and kept the crowd going. I strongly recommend DJ Phase 1, you will not be disapointed.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees! Words cannot express how much we love DJ Bob!!! An old high school classmate who now has her own event business recommended him to me. I knew she'd know the best in the area and well what can I say? We weren't disappointed! We had quite the array of music requests...Italian meets Puerto Rican splashed by our love of the 80's and my dad's need for Tahitian drums...oh gawsh! Whether you were 8 or 80 you had a rip roaring good time at our wedding! He kept everyone's attention and got us where we needed to be when we needed to be there from ceremony, cocktail hour and entrances to dinner, toasts, cake cutting, dances and sparkler departure. We were in good hands and would do it all over again any day!

Provided a great personal touch and made our event a memorable one. Even when the event didn't go exactly as planned (as then never do) DJ Bob did a great job of rolling with the flow of things and making sure our guests never knew what was going on behind the scenes. An asset to any wedding!

DJ Bob was one of the first people we met at the San Luis Obispo Bridal Fair and we instantly fell in love with his personality. He was very responsive to all our needs and some of our favorite memories were of the meetings we had while planning the wedding. He felt more like a friend rather than a business man and went above and beyond what we expected of him. He gave great recommendations for other vendors (who we used and loved!) and truly made our wedding memorable. He had a unique gift for keeping our guests entertained as well as ensuring that the dance floor was always packed! WOW>>>>> is all we can say. DJ Bob did such an amazing job we had people at our wedding asking us about him because they wanted to book him right then and there. We were hooked up with Bob through a common friend and it was just such an awesome experience from start to finish. He did such an awesome job incorporating what we both wanted and really made it all flow well together. Bob was very interactive with our guests. We had 300 people so there were a lot of people to make happy and not allow them to become bored. So Bob exceeded those expectations and not only did we have the time of our lives with our guests, but people are still talking about it and asking for his number 6 months later. Bob just about kept everyone from the little kids to the grandparents happy and most importantly entertained. I cannot say enough great things about Bob and his business but it was a rockin wedding and will be remembered by so many down the road. Thank you Bob.

DJ Bob was the best DJ we could have ever ask for!! He made our Wedding Day memorable for sure! He did everything we asked for and went above and beyond to make us the Bride and Groom happy!!! If we had to do it again we would defenitly have DJ Bob!! Our wedding was in March and people are still talking about how GREAT our DJ was and how he "MADE" our reception! We love DJ Bob! He was pretty much the most fun part of planning the wedding and everyone at our reception thought he was fabulous too! We really wanted our guests to have a great evening and a great party and DJ Bob made sure that happened - never a dull moment or down time.

My husband and I could not be happier with DJ Bob! He was so great to work with during the planning process and made sure our reception ROCKED. He suggested including personal stories while introducing our bridal party (which they loved), made our guests laugh, played every song we requested, and worked as a team with our live band. And the best part- he made sure that EVERY SINGLE GUEST was on the dance floor until the end of the last song (my #1 request). We only wish our reception could have gone later, no one was ready to quit dancing! Thank you Bob, you made our wedding perfect and I will recommend you to every friend getting married!

I would recommend DJ Bob in a second. We had such a good experience with him and appreciated everything he did for us. Also, his wife Shannon was wonderful too! DJ Bob kept everything rolling perfectly through the wedding. He played all the songs we asked him to and beyond! He was very easy to talk to and we just got along with him great. Everyone is still talking about DJ Bob! I had so many people coming up to me at our wedding saying how great he was. Having a great DJ is SO important at your wedding and with DJ Bob I knew I had nothing to worry about. Which he definitely proved!

I would highly recommend DJ Bob. He did exactly what we requested- songs, keeping to a timeline, etc. Bob always returned our calls and emails in a timely manner and made us feel comfortable by throughly answering our questions. Bob is a true professional. He made sure the wedding spotlight was on us.

I have nothing but great things to say about DJ BOB. First of all his personality is off the charts he is so easy going and definitely has a zest for life; which was what sold me because we got along so well. Secondly, he was interested in hearing what music I listened to and what my family would also be interested in. To this day we still dont know how he managed to pick out each song and arrange the music in such a way that was absolutely perfect. My family and friends, young and old could not stop talking about how great the DJ was. I also loved how he personalized my wedding it felt as if he was a part of the family. With all the madness of planning a wedding the last thing you want is to stress out on your day and DJ Bob took over by making sure everything was coming along on time while keeping the party rocking. He was great at keeping the crowd crying, laughing, and dancing. It is one night I will never forget, Thanks BOB! I will definitely call on DJ Bob in the future and recommend his services to anyone that wants to have an unforgettable event.

DJ Bob and his wife Shannon gave my husband and I the greatest day of our life! I could never thank them enough. Guests are still going crazy about DJ Bob! Bob has an energy about himself that lights up a room. I used to be a wedding planner and I have attended MANY functions in my life and in almost everyone the DJ ruined everything. So when I met DJ BOB I knew he was the one!! The whole event depends on the DJ and this guy cracks jokes, laughs, gets people who have the personality of a fly having the time of their life. I mean the music, energy, lights, and devotion he puts into this is amazing! DJ Bob and Shannon really make an effort and care. They were constantly trying to get to know us and our family to make our day perfect! His prices are GREAT and I think he should charge way more! I feel so blessed to have found them! They will forever be dear friends and host any events my family or I hold! If you want the best day of your life to be perfect I can guarantee DJ Bob will make it work! Not to mention he has all the hook ups of the central coast! He knows everyone from caterers to florists! Ask anyone that's good in the business and they will recommend him! DJ Bob and Shannon were really great--they were extremely helpful and gracious as we were planning our California wedding from the East Coast. They were both very quick to respond to any questions we had--which was a huge relief to this bride planning a wedding from 3000 miles away.
The day of the wedding was fantastic--all of our guests of all ages and from all over the country had a great time at our reception. It was also great that DJ Bob also played a few songs that were new to him that we specially requested.

DJ Bob listened to what we wanted for our wedding while also suggesting ideas and walking us through our options. He was very professional and a hit at the wedding. We had several guests compliment the music selection. Everyone was up dancing and the music during dinner wasn't over powering. He guided the event smoothly responding to the crowd as needed all while making us the focal point. Highly recommended. Thank you!

DJ Bob did a fantastic job at our wedding. He was very professional, thorough, and fun! There were always people on the dance floor. He was also the DJ for the henna party which took place a couple of days before our wedding. He met the challenge of keeping the party going with music he was unfamiliar with, which was Indian music. Everyone danced the night away at both parties! DJ Bob was also very respectful of our wishes, we got what we asked for! Thanks Bob for doing such a great job!!

We wanted someone for our wedding that would keep things moving and keep the dance floor packed. Bob is very experienced and really knows the flow of a wedding and reception. He took command of the event and helped it move along and I didn't have to think about anything. When the lights came on at the end of the night, the room was still full, and people were disappointed that the event was ending already. I owe Bob for this, because that's really all I wanted from the Reception... for people to have so much fun they didn't want it to end. All this for slightly less than the competitors in the area - though we would have hired him regardless of his pricing, he was just the best fit for us.
