Describe your DJ style:
We work with a number of different DJ's and they all have their own style. We will match a DJ to your event that suits the style that you are looking for. We have DJ's that are outgoing and will get on the dance floor with your guests or we have DJ's that will just be invisable and only play music. It is your day and we will make sure that the DJ fits your personality!
 
What is your usual attire?
Tuxedo
 
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
If the song is something that we can locate we will get it, if we cannot find it we will ask that the couple provides it for us.
 
How many other DJs do you work with?
We have 6-8 DJ's that we work with. All of them DJ full time and are professionals that have been DJing for at least 10 years.
 
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
we will work with you on any timeframe that you need.
 
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
The Bride will be able to meet with the DJ, that will be doing her Wedding, to go over all music selections and the time line.
 
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
Since we work with 6-8 different DJ's at any given time we are able to handle many different ethnic and/or internation events. We do have DJ's that are bilingual.
 
Do you bring your own equipment?

What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?

How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
We ususally set up one hour before the start of the event, but we can set up earlier if needed. We provide our own skirted table for setup.
 
Do you have any extra space requirements?
no
 
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
yes we will emcee and be interactive unless the bride and groom ask us not to.
 
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
no
 
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
we do not take breaks, but if the DJ has to walk away from his/her system they will have recorded music playing.
 
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
yes
 
What is your overtime rate?
$125
 
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
We do charge a travel fee outside of the Houston or Dallas area. It is based on mileage (Austin).

Tips and Advice
When looking for a DJ for your special day it is very important that the DJ understands you as a couple and what it is that you are looking for.  Make sure that you get the opportunity to meet with the DJ that will be doing your reception and that you feel comfortable with him/her.

Make sure to ask if the price quoted includes lights.  Ask if there are any additional fees that you might need to know about (such as a stair fee, travel fee, early setup fee, etc.).
