Tips and Advice
  • Always be sure to assemble one invitation and take it to the post office to have it weighed. The post office will provide you with the most accurate postage information so that you can budget accordingly.

  • Remember that you must put a stamp on your RSVP cards. It is a courtesy to your guests.

  • Always have the post office hand-cancel your invitations. In this process, the window clerk will stamp the date onto your envelopes by hand. This will ensure that your invitations will not go through the rough machinery which may destroy your envelopes.

  • You should begin the invitation process at least three to four months before your wedding. This gives you plenty of time to make a quality decision. It will also give your invitation designer time to ensure that the quality materials that you want will be amply available.

  • When you are arriving at your count for ordering invitations, make sure that you are only counting addresses and not people. This will ensure that you order exactly what you really need.

  • Make sure to order extra envelopes to cover any mistakes when addressing your envelopes.
