Artisan Matchmaker created the most beautiful and cohesive stationery and paper products for our wedding, incorporating our custom crest and perfectly setting the tone for our summer black-tie optional event. In addition to save the dates and invitation suites, they also designed programs, welcome box cards, table numbers, bar signs, and menus. Since we had to postpone our wedding a year due to covid, they also created beautiful “change” the dates for us, complete with detailed envelopes and addressing. Kathryn from Artisan Matchmaker patiently helped me dream up and create our custom wedding suite. As a creative person and DIY-lover, my ideas and questions were endless. Luckily, I had Kathryn on my team! She kindly answered all my questions, humored my crazy ideas, and accepted my pencil and graph paper sketches at all hours of the day. She was so easy to work with and very responsive. Together, we created a lovely, simple, and timeless suite that included, save-the-dates, multi-part invitations, a wax seal, programs, menus, a linen banner, and a watercolor map! Everything turned out beautifully and paired perfectly with our overall decor and feeling at our wedding.

I’d also like to add that we chose Kathryn because of the products we saw at an expo, but I grew more and more impressed by and excited to work with her because of who I saw she was working with. I met the owners of Artisan Matchmaker at a bridal exposition in Washington DC and I was immediately impressed by their professionalism and charismatic demeanor. After speaking with Kathryn on the phone regarding the vision for my wedding invitations I knew she would be the perfect person to work with. She was wonderful during the design process, providing helpful recommendations and listening to the changes and adjustments I requested. She was even able to adjust the product design midway through when I found I found a design I liked better that my original request. The final product was even better than I envisioned, and I received numerous complements from our guests regarding the quality and beauty of the invitations. We were lucky enough to score an amazing event designer who introduced us to the Kathryn and the Artisan Matchmaker family. They put together a custom welcome sign, seating chart, favor tags and food menu for us that incorporated our Harry Potter theme. Everything was created from scratch and it was absolutely stunning.
