Looking for a reasonably priced catering option for our wedding at 26 Bridge and Chris was everything we wanted and more! The planning process was easy and stressfree. He catered to our wants and needs and was always responsive. We went to a tasting at his kitchen in LIC and he served us EVERYTHING on our station menu (maybe 20 different types of food) not to mention his hospitality was amazing. He worked closely with our planner and us to make sure we were prepared for the day of - we had so much trust in him that food, drinks, rentals were not any stressor leading up to the wedding! On the day of, Chris and his team were exceptional. His team served our 150 guests from pre-ceremony to lights on and did it with such grace. They were attentive to us, making sure that we had everything we needed pre-ceremony (some snacks), fixed my veil before I walked out, and followed us around all night with water and our drink of choice (yet were not a bother). We got so lucky using Chris and his team and can't wait to recommend him to others. THANK YOU!!!

We used Nova Catering for our Manhattan wedding at the Harold Pratt House in September 2018. The Nova team blew our expectations out of the water when it came to value, menu offerings, quality of food, responsiveness, and day of service for us and our guests. We catered our full wedding through Nova, including a five-hour open bar, passed appetizers, a three-course seated dinner, and wedding cake for 75 people. Our guests were raving about the food and cake (some of them are still talking about it)! Chris and the rest of the Nova team were easy to work with all the way from our initial inquiry, to tastings and suggesting menu items and custom cocktails, to our big day. We felt like we were in the best of hands and were confident going into our wedding with the Nova team. I could not recommend Nova Catering highly enough for New York area couples looking to serve high quality, unique food at a great value and treat their guests like VIPs.

We used Nova Catering for our January 2019 wedding and had the absolute best experience! Chris and his team were fantastic to work with, and my mother described the food as the best she's ever had at a wedding! They were wonderful value, and we were blown away by the excellence of the staff and food. We would highly recommend them, and are trying to think of other events to host so that we can use their services again.

Chris and his team absolutely knocked it out of the park. After our tasting months ago we knew we were in good hands. Our guests can't stop raving about the food and service, and I definitely wish I had had more room in my dress to enjoy more of the delicious items. One of the best parts was that my husband and I had our own private server who kept water in our hands almost constantly, which kept us sober and dancing to the very end of the evening (and considering our love of scotch, this was a tall task!). We highly recommend Nova to anyone looking for an amazing meal for reasonable prices.

We wanted a fun and fancy wedding in NYC. I am Polish and my husband is Argentinian, both living in the city. We were mixing three different cultures and it wasn’t an easy task. For Argentinians wine, champagne and the quality of alcohol is important, so our sommelier friend came up with an outstanding selection. Now we needed the most important partner, the food. And that is where Chris from Nova Catering totally surpassed our expectations…

For the quality of the wedding that we were aiming for, we were going to go with what we considered the safest bet, and select from the highest rated caterer from this site. The initial quotes were outrages, and not because we could not afford them, but because the variety, quality, and quantity of food did not justify the cost. I believe these vendors come up with unjustifiable margins. We could not be happier of having to found Chris. If we would have followed the numbers of reviews from this page, we would have never selected him, but we took a leap of faith and decided to go to his free tasting…Wow, it was amazing! Not only the food, but the way he served it, the presentation, his awesome staff members, everything… Our guests were amazed. They felt as if they were dining at a Michelin star restaurant!

The pricing, significantly cheaper from top rated caterers, including beautiful rentals, and set up.

The food, what can I say, burrata from Italy, caviar, oysters, foie gras, tuna tartare, filet mignon, wild caught salmon… All picked from a huge variety of options. Honestly, we had a hard time deciding, as we liked everything on his menu.

And finally, Chris. Chris is laid back, not pushy at all, an artist. He is so good and confident at what he does, that…. Ladies stress about your wedding dress, your makeup artist, your hair, but don’t stress about your food and set up, Chris and his staff from Nova Catering will take care of all that, and trust me, they will exceed your expectations.

Chris and his team did a wonderful job at our wedding last October. The staff was exceptional and professional and the food was amazing! Everyone at the wedding talked about the food and raved about it. It was not typical wedding catering, but more like a fine dining experience.

I cannot say enough great things about Chris and his team. We had a loft wedding, which meant that catering w/rentals was our biggest expense and most important purchase. Nova's pricing was the most reasonable of the nice caterers we looked at, and Chris was by far one of the most pleasant caterers to deal with. We could not have been more pleased with how everything turned out - from the quality of the food to the quality of the service. Chris worked with us to create a customized menu based off our favorite foods, and the results were a knockout - think perfectly seared sea scallops in a porcini mushroom broth and frisee salad with roasted figs and a truffle oil vinagrette. A tasting was never an issue, and his team was extremely courteous and professional. We and our guests felt like we were in great hands all night, and we got loads of compliments on the food and service. Chris even did our cake, which turned out excellent. I only wish I could re-hire him for another big party soon. Truly. Hiring Nova was one of the best decisions we made, and I cannot recommend him enough.

We recently selected Nova for our wedding and could not have asked for a better partner to feed our guests. Chris was the only one we spoke to that actually were interested in us as a couple- what we liked eating and cooking, where we liked going for dinner etc. Then they suggested a menu that was perfect for us based on this and wowed us with it when we went to meet with them for the first time. We must note our favorite element- that they created hor's dueves to reflect our backgrounds [ie. Mini British Fish and Chips] which were delicious and popular with all the guests. They were responsive and did everything they could to meet out requests.
Every guest commented on how great it was and we can't wait to have another party to meet them again!

I hired Chris and his team to cater a dinner part for us. People are STILL raving about the food. It was absolutely delicious, and the quality was excellent. The quality for dollar spent was also truly impressive. I can't recommend them highly enough.
