We love digital, but film has a soft place in our heart.
How many photographers do you work with?
We have two on staff plus several assistants to call upon.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Always, we have never missed an event.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
We never book a date. We will only do 2 weddings in a weekend.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes we do have additional photographers on staff.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
35mm digital Cameras, lighting, laptop, CF cards, reflectors, stands & tripod and smiles. Everything we need for a wedding day!
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Always
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Most of our Collections offer a full day experience. We do offer custom packages for some couples.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
We work the entire day, unless there is downtime then we take full advantage of it. Naps not included!
Do you charge for travel?
Yes, it depends on where we are going. Normal Collections include anywhere in the KC area. If out of town please let me know and I'll shoot you a quote.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
2 weeks.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
We average about 30-45 day turn around on our wedding Collections.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Forever.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes - We as artists do retain the copyright. But our couples do receive a Photo CD of ALL images from their wedding day. We have offered this service from day one.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Who doesn't want their amazing wedding photos in a hip trendy magazine?
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Yes... ALL images.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Hosted on an online gallery for up to 3 months after event.
What kind of albums do you offer?
Several coffee table book and Leather albums are available to choose from. Each one is custom made for each wedding day, we don't use templates!
When will the client get the final album?
Depends on how long it takes you to get us your list of images for the album. Design process takes about 4 weeks.
