Wedding Photography in Overland Park

We are so happy that we found and hired Scott to be our wedding photographer. After a long search, we came across Scott's website and were immediately impressed with his portfolio. After initially communicating by e-mail, we met in person and were convinced that he was exactly who we were looking for. In the months leading up to our wedding, we exchanged multiple e-mails. Scott was great with communication - he answered all of our questions with expertise, and entertained our ideas while also providing his own suggestions - all of which we greatly appreciated. In fact, he scouted a location the perfect location for after-ceremony photos & helped us organize lists for group shotsetc. On the day of our wedding, Scott was very professional, focused, calm, and hardworking. This was even noted by multiple guests throughout our ceremony and reception. We were complemented on Scott by our friends even before they've seen any of the photos! Scott gave us tons of amazing, high-quality, in-the-moment shots, as well as the traditional posed for shots. He went beyond the traditional scope of photos: from details of the decor, flowers, to candid shots on the dance floor & more. Additional confirmation that he did a phenomenal job came from our friends and family who were blown away by the photos we got from our wedding. Another thing that helped us get to know and trust Scott and feel more at ease with him, his cameras, and posing during our big day was our engagement photoshoot. It was then that we knew 100% that we were in excellent hands. Scott is a very hardworking and dedicated photographer. His work shows that he loves what he does and understands the importance of it to his clients. He is organized, calm, creative, professional, friendly, humble, easy to get along with & great with communicating. To top it all of, he is very reasonably priced (in our opinion he could be charging 3x as much). So don't let this one go! Thank you Scott!

Ashlee was the best photographer I could have asked for at my wedding, along with engagement pictures! She was so creative on all the shots she took at the wedding and engagement. Ashlee took many family pictures that I wanted and made everyone feel comfortable. I would highly recommend Ashlee Brooke Photographer for your engagement and wedding photos!

Our photographer, Erin, was wonderful. She's a photojournalist, so while her prices are higher than a photographer who just takes group shots at the church and a few shots at the reception, she documented our day for less than what a normal photojournalist does. She worked with us before the day to make sure she knew the schedule and she shot everything from us getting ready to way into the evening of the reception. Our pictures turned out wonderful. She could have gotten the photos to us a little sooner, but it wasn't bad, and once we got them, it didn't matter. :) They were beautiful. She's also very professional and you hardly noticed her doing her job. We'll be using her again for family photos in the future.. :)

Stacy was super fun on our wedding day! She helped my husband and I stay calm and helped get family portraits, wedding party pictures, and pictures of just my husband and I. She truly loves to capture the moments rather than making us pose. I loved my wedding pictures, especially the reception because she caught the love and unity of everyone that was there supporting our love. She also edits the photos and gets them back to you so fast! There's an online gallery and a USB.

I hired JW Photo for our engagement shoot and wedding photography. I was beyond thrilled with how our photos turned out, and couldn't have asked for anything more from Jessica. She was funny, personable, and super flexible. She also provided a schedule of events for the day of that helped me plan all of the days activities. I would highly recommend JW Photo if you want great pictures and a great photographer! Thanks Jessica!!

We are super happy with our decision to go with Pond Photography to shoot our wedding and engagement photos. We did our engagement photos in April of 2023 and got married on the last day of September. Kristin was so great to work with from start to finish. And the images she captured, both during our engagement session and on our wedding day, are truly amazing. We are still sorting through our wedding photos, deciding which one's to post and frame, because there are so many good one's. It's hard to narrow it down! We had our wedding photos back in two weeks. She them to us through an email link, and that leads you to a portal where you can view and download them. They were neatly organized into each segment of the day. They covered every significant moment from start to finish. It brought back a rush of great memories to go through the albums! We had never taken professional photos before, and Kristin made us feel at ease. She has a very calming presence, and you can tell she knows what she's doing. No matter the setting or moment, she knew exactly what poses would work best. She’s precise, thorough and has a great feel for the whole process. During the shoots, she’ll tell you exactly what poses to do, when to look at the camera or look away. For people like us, who aren’t naturals, it was a big help. She also gave great recommendations for locations to shoot at around Kansas City, both for the engagement and wedding photos. She led us to spots in the city we would've never found or thought of on our own. All of our wedding party photos were taken outside of Kauffman Performing Arts Center, and they are just so well done. Kristin is as nice as can be, but she knows when to take charge and did a great job of organizing everyone to ensure we got all of the shots we needed. We loved our experience with Pond Photography and look forward to the opportunity to work with her again. For anyone in the KC area planning to get married, Pond Photography would be an excellent choice!

My wife and I loved working with Ashley. We felt so comfortable and she made our shoots feel so natural. We were very satisfied with our engagement and wedding pictures!

It took me awhile to write this review because, well, I just can't put into words how amazing Rachelle's work is and how amazing she was to work with. We had our engagement session and wedding photos with her. She is so sweet and easy to work with. She made us very comfortable (we were very nervous because we feel awkward in front of the camera). She has great ideas and also just lets you be yourselves during the session. I'm convinced she could shoot anywhere and it would turn out fabulous. She is super affordable and also very quick at getting the images back to you! We were SO thrilled with how our photos turned out. We just can't chose our favorites. She got pictures of everything on our wedding day. Our family and friends raved about her as well. She was our favorite wedding hire and has an amazing talent. You should definitely choose her!
