We love shooting in all lighting situations. Variety is the spice of life. ;o)
Is your media preference film or digital?
We shoot primarily digital, but sometime we throw in a little film, just for fun.
How many photographers do you work with?
We are a husband and wife team, so we always shoot together. Occasionally we will have an assistant with us, depending on the day.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
Because our family is so important and because we put such a high value on our clients, we only shoot one wedding a weekend and a limited number of weddings a year.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
We have several photographers that we can go to in case of an emergency. However, we would have to be dead, to not be able to shoot your wedding.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
We shoot with professional grade Nikon gear.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Of course!
Do you charge hourly or full day?
We do not limit our time. Our coverage is based on when in your day you would like for us to start.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
If we are shooting for more than 5 hours, we request that meals be provided. Ideally, we should be eating in the same room as your guests so that we can hop up and take photos during toasts and any other moments that need to be captured.
Do you charge for travel?
We do not charge a travel fee for weddings within 3 hours of Madison.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
A highlight of our favorite images will be posted to our blog within a week of your wedding. The final images will be ready within 4-6 weeks of your wedding.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
We offer online digital proofing with a companion hard-bound proofbook.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Proofs are available online for 3 months after the wedding.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, however we always ask permission first.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Digital files are available with an album purchase.
What kind of albums do you offer?
We offer only the best albums that are custom designed and handmade of only quality leathers and archival materials.
When will the client get the final album?
The album process can take anywhere between 6 months to a year, all depending on how quickly the design process goes.
