My documentary style of photography stems from 8 years of experience as a photojournalist. Just as one would never dream of posing the players when shooting a sports event, I believe that a wedding should reflect the events as they happened. Rather than exert any control, I’d rather let the day unfold as you would have it, ready and attentive with my camera. Bride and groom portraits often work as bookends to the narrative wedding and I take these with the same eye for true character and natural beauty. I embrace all manner of occasions, from the simple to the elaborate.
