Wedding Photography in Hoboken

As a woman born in the 1970s, doing business via Instagram made me very nervous, but I decided to give Vows a try due to their great reviews. We purchased the $2800 package. All business is done online. I was nail bitingly nervous but hopeful. There were zoom meetings and mood boards created prior to my wedding date to go over the style and vision for the day. On the day of our wedding, the photographer and videographer captured the tiniest of details. Every look, smile, hug and dance. I was ecstatic with the photos, but certain aspects of the video were disappointing. I made my concerns known to Art the project manager, and what he returned to me was the most beautiful video I could have imagined. My song choices were added along with a little extra razzle dazzle. Outstanding! So yes, the staff is friendly and flexible. I would recommend paying for extra time so that all of your moments are captured from beginning to end. Read your contract thoroughly! Know that your photos may take four months to arrive. Contact the staff early if you need any adjustments. In all, I do recommend Vows Studio.

Meredith is awesome!!!! She is so creative and comes up with really fun and unique ideas to really capture your day and the feel of your day! Her and Jason can make anyone feel comfortable in front of a camera. Our wedding pictures are AMAZING!!!!!! I plan on her being my professional photographer for life! (She does really wonderful family shoots, pregnancy shoots, and baby shoots too!!)

Adena at Studio A Images was the absolute best. Period. End of sentence. She is a professional in every sense of the word and our wedding went so smoothly in no small part due to the experience she brought to the table. Leading up to the wedding, she was incredibly responsive over email and did a really great job of not only helping us to structure the timeline for our day to minimize stress and scrambling, but also rolling with the punches if we had any questions or last minute changes in our plans. The day of the wedding, Adena and her second photographer Laura did a fantastic job of keeping everything running smoothly and on schedule. From the getting ready pictures to the couple and wedding party pictures to the family portraits, Adena did a great job of corralling so many people to efficiently get the shot. I just felt like I was in really good hands the entire time, especially given that the weather forecast introduced some unpredictability to the day. Despite that, Adena always had a plan and had an amazing eye for getting some incredible shots - sometimes planned and sometimes impromptu. Her candid shots were also everything; they really captured the energy of the party and so many of them bring a smile to my face that I know I’m going to have a bear of a time picking which ones to put in a photo album - it might just be all of them. To make a very long story short, Adena’s communication, professionalism, and flexibility made it easy for me to trust her with photographing our wedding and that took so much potential stress out of the equation. I really hope to work with Adena again in the future because I really think she is the full package.

We got to know Stella and TJ throughout our time working with Angel Project during our wedding planning. Super easy to talk to and very personable. TJ was very accommodating to our schedule and working with us. The photos came out incredible and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was captured perfectly. Would DEFINITELY recommend.

Jenny's photos took my breath away from the first engagement photoshoot to the handful of photos that I have seen from the wedding so far. Her eye for creativity, her attention to detail and her ability to capture personal moments without feeling intrusive is amazing. She is a rockstar among photographers and she made us feel at ease and comfortable in front of the camera from the first time we met. I have received so many compliments on the stunning photos that she has taken for me and would not hesitate to use her again for family photos, as I have seen the incredible work that she does with families and children as well. My wedding pictures are stunning and her second photographer Noelle also has provided me with amazing creative and capture the moment type of photos that we were looking for.

Megan is a NJ-based photographer and did our engagement shoot. Megan is getting her business off the ground, so I highly, highly recommend her to anyone looking for budget-friendly photographs in the NY/NJ area. I noticed Megan's work several months ago (we have mutual friends) and was completely floored by her talent. Her skill with composition and lighting was evident, but she also had a way of finding - or bringing about - moments that captured personalities perfectly. When I found out that she decided to begin shooting professionally, I contacted her about taking some engagement pictures. To start, she made coordination incredibly easy. She wanted to find a location that suited the two of us and she was willing to travel (we went back and forth between a few locations in Brooklyn, New York, and north and south Jersey) so we spent a lot of time trying to figure out the "where." Once we settled on a spot, she talked to us about the clothing we'd want to wear, prepared us for the kinds of shots she'd be taking, and made some suggestions about other things we could bring. We met up with her day of and she put us at ease immediately, so we just had fun with it. Neither of us are particularly camera-happy, so being followed around by someone taking our photos could have been a disaster, but instead it was one of the most fun days we've had together. It's funny looking at the pictures now - a lot were posed at her direction but we never felt silly or self-conscious in the moment and in the shots themselves we look completely natural, and like us. Only we look a lot better in them than in real life. On a sad note, we happened to do the shoot in Seaside Heights, NJ. Couldn't have known at the time, but with the pier destroyed these photos take on a new resonance--and the artistry of these shots completely lives up to the weight they now carry.

Alex Mora was fantastic! As a DIY Bride I had a really long list of "must take" pictures because I worked really hard on every detail and I wanted to see them all in the pictures. He totally understood and made sure to get every last shot. He made me feel really comfortable when doing posed shots pre-ceremony and even made sure to tell me when my tension was coming through in the photos, so that I could take a second to breath and be more relaxed. I can't wait to see our pictures!

Manny & Alex were beyond amazing at our wedding, from insuring all our shots were accomplished, to making sure we didn't get tired of over taking pictures. We only received our Proofs and we are already in love with our pictures!!!

Ann Marie is the most wonderful human inside and out! Her attention to detail and genuine personality makes working with her so perfect. She gave us wedding preview photos within 24 hours of the event ending, we love her so much! Cannot recommend a photographer more. #yachtrockforever

Alberto and Noberto were amazing, they were prompt, creative and created photos that I will cherish a life time. They were so accommodating and made everyone from my bridal party, the groomsmen, and my family feel at ease with something that can tend to be stressful. Alberto and Norberto are truly talented photographers that are gifted at capturing life moments. I can’t recommend them enough and will definitely consider them for any my future events!
