The quality of her construction as well as her design is fantastic, and this comes from a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute's Fiber Arts Program, my sister. I bought her a Janay original skirt and she is stopped & complimented on the streets of Chicago when she wears it. THINGS I LIKE RIGHT NOW:
-Colored shoes under your gown
-Custom embroidery in your hem
-Knots, draped and pleated into the design of a dress
-Vintage Doily-like lace, in circle patterns
-Covering up is more sexy!
-High necklines, surprise low backs.
-Leaving room for creativity
-Contrasting Lining (my personal choice is creme paisley in my ready-to-wear collection)
-Raw Silk
-Organic Fabric
-Vintage Lace (especially heirloom lace)
-Clumpy, chunky, random beading with mini buttons in the mix
-De-layering or converting your dress to something different for the reception
-Stretch dresses
-Cotton Dresses
-Dying fabric
