We are Joel and Andrea Knepper, owners and operators of J&A Photography. We have both been involved not only in photography but the visual arts our entire lives and are delighted to be able to utilize our talents to create beautiful images for our clients.

Andrea, with a B.A. in Photography from Penn State and a true love of all things artistic and inspirational, is the creative drive behind J&A Photography. Her background in photography and art history as well as experience in merchandising, styling, and customer service are a unique combination that help her to bring a truly heartfelt perspective to her photography.

Joel, also a product of Penn State's photography department, brings something a bit different into the mix. With a bachelor of science degree, years of assisting experience and working in a commercial photographic lab, you could say that Joel is the technician of the two. This melding of styles and areas of expertice is what truly makes J&A photography different from the rest.

The newest honorary member of J&A photography is our beautiful daughter Emelia Marie. Born on January 8, 2010 our sweet baby girl is our new inspiration, not only to renew our love for baby and family photography, but in our lives in general.
