About
Mint DJ & Event Group is a team of expert wedding and event DJs based in State College, Pennsylvania. Founded in Happy Valley by Penn State alum Alex Nepa, we DJ weddings across Central PA, from Altoona and Johnstown to Lewisburg, Williamsport, and State College, and travel for destination celebrations.
With us, you'll dance more. We plan with you one-on-one, host the announcements, and mix the music live. Tell us what you love, what you don't want to hear, and how you want the night to feel, and we'll work through every detail with you.
Your day, start to finish:
- Planning: in-depth meetings with your DJ, plus our #MyMint online planner for must-plays, do-not-plays, and your timeline, from any device.
- Ceremony: prelude music as guests arrive, a wireless lapel mic for your officiant, mics for vows and readings, and a complete sound system.
- Cocktail hour and dinner: music that fits the room, wireless mics for toasts, and optional uplighting or monogram projection.
- Reception: mixed live, seamlessly, with a dance floor that stays packed until the last song.
Different DJs, same Mint standard. We read the room and play the right song at the right time. We mix instead of pressing play. And we host, not just DJ. Add uplighting, custom lighting design, or the Lyric Social photo booth, with photos, Boomerangs, and GIFs sent straight to your guests' phones.
Couples have celebrated with us at the Nittany Lion Inn, The Cypress House, Whispering Hollow Estate, Nemacolin, and venues all across Central PA. We proudly celebrate every couple.
