DJ Alex Nepa was very professional throughout the entire wedding planning process but still extremely approachable and friendly. He listened to us and really understood what vibes of music we wanted at our wedding and reception. We didn’t just give him a playlist, we gave him certain songs we liked and trusted him to run with the night as he saw fit - and he was awesome! The dance floor at our Sunday night wedding was packed all night which is exactly what we were hoping for. All night, guests came up to us to say how great the DJ was, and weeks afterward, DJ Alex is still what we hear about most as the guests favorite part of... -

I've had the opportunity to work with Alex as a videographer at many weddings over the years and I knew he was the one I would have I my wedding from the beginning! I cannot recommend Alex enough. Alex was extremely professional throughout the entire process while giving us and our guests the greatest party. Alex had a sleek set up for his equipment with our names on a screen and lights on both sides of his table. He was able to cut our first dance song to shorten it for us. Alex mixed songs perfectly and was receptive to requests. We also used a Photo Booth through him and it was great. Our guests were complimenting him all night. Can’t go wrong with him! -

Alex was the perfect DJ for our wedding! He was exceptional with hosting and keeping the party alive. The dance floor was packed all night long and so many of our guests commented on how great he was. Not only did he follow our song list, but he was great with impromptu requests from our guests also. He had a photo booth that our guests greatly enjoyed (including a back drop that I didn’t even think about getting). His set up was very clean and sleek, which was important to us for photos! Very professional and friendly, during the planning process and at the wedding. You won’t regret choosing him! -

It’s been about a week since our wedding and we’re still absolutely BUZZING from the party put on by Alex. Instead of your basic, old-school wedding type of music, we wanted more of a party vibe. And It was clear from our first conversation that this was right in his wheelhouse.
The dance floor was packed from the first song and transitions between songs were extremely unique. He even put together very specific, completely custom mixes of songs we requested.
While I can’t stress enough how great Alex is as a DJ and creating an unforgettable night of dancing, I also can’t leave out his professionalism when it comes to managing the wedding as whole... -

Alex/Mint DJ's are amazing. Alex is professional and timely with communication. There are people who play music and there are true DJ's. Alex and his team are great at their craft. The way they mix songs together and transition in and out of songs is so much fun to listen to. I would highly recommend them for any event. You are getting the best when you book them!

I cannot recommend DJ Alex enough for your special day! We had a packed dance floor from the start to end of our reception. I had out of town guests even ask who he was and if he travels for if they ever get married! He was incredibly kind and responsive - which helped eliminate added stress. His forms were the right amount of detail to get your mood and vibe across to him. No matter how specific of a request he made it happen! -

We hired Alex for our Oct 7th wedding and could not have been happier. He provided music and A/V for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Alex is so easy to work with - I made many comments to my fiancée that in a time of very complex coordination, Alex was someone we always had complete faith and confidence in throughout the entire process. We even changed a few song tracks last minute, and not only did Alex take it in stride, but he was super excited to help realize our wedding vision. Always positive, incredibly helpful - oh and everyone LOVED the music. One of our guests specifically asked for Alex's business card for her daughter's wedding. Cannot say enough great things about Alex, and we can't thank him enough for making our day so special. -

Alex knows how to throw a party!! Seriously, we had the most epic night, largely because of him and his incredible selection of music, with some pretty epic transitions. We didn’t leave the dance floor once, and our guests still rave to this day about how epic our DJ was. -

We hired Mint for our wedding and reception and couldn't be happier about our decision. They were responsive to our questions and helped us to design play lists for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner hour. Once the dancing started, our guests never left the dance floor! We really enjoyed working with Mint! It was very easy to communicate what we did and did not want, and our guests had a great time! The professionalism was very obvious - the timing of our ceremony got thrown off and Alex handled it so well! The entrance seemed perfect and none of the guests could tell anything went wrong! We used Alex for our wedding (ceremony and reception) and I cannot recommend him enough! Leading up to our wedding he was very organized and thorough, providing a detailed questionnaire and video consult to plan the day. The ceremony and wedding were flawless - so many people commented on how great he was at our reception and in the days after. He had the crowd of all ages up on the dance floor all night. Would definitely recommend to anyone planning a wedding!! -

Hired Alex for my wedding this past weekend. Since its fresh in my mind I wanted to write a review. If I could give 15 out of 5 stars I would. Ive had so many people come up to me during the dancing and after saying how good of a DJ he was and how they never saw so many people dance on a wedding dance floor for so long. Cant say enough good things about him honestly. Professional and curteous as well with anything we wanted to do as a couple like a "final dance" where he had to stay a bit longer than normal, was not a problem. I would hire him for any wedding if you want your guests to have a fantastic night. -

We had the best experience with Mint DJ Events for our wedding. Our DJ was David and he was amazing! He looked so cool and kept the whole night moving perfectly. We actually forgot to add on the ceremony portion and had to do that last minute. It was so easy and they took care of everything for us. I cannot recommend them enough! Our guests were on the dance floor all night and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! -

Working with Alex is nothing less than working with a professional. From craddle to grave he has overlooked, helped, and pulled together all aspects of being the DJ for our wedding. Alex was awesome to work with. From playing music off YouTube for our processional, to a cover song from family for our first dance, to playing straight bangers all night long - he nailed it! So many friends and family have commented how they’ve never been to a wedding where the dance floor was full from beginning to end; no awkward lull at any point. He took our suggestions and ran with them. We highly recommend hiring him! -

Alex with Mint DJ is the best DJ around, and such a nice and friendly guy. He was our wedding DJ at the Cypress House a few weeks ago, and helped us create the wedding we’d always wanted. He kept everyone dancing all night long, had a super sleek setup, and was incredibly easy to communicate with on the day and leading up to the day. Due to COVID, we hadn’t been to an actual wedding in 2 years before having ours, so Alex offered to meet with us over Zoom to run through what he would be helping with on the day of so we could start thinking about song choices and a timeline. We were so appreciative... -

The entire application, pairing, and planning process was super easy and fast, always a plus. We were paired with Alex Napa. He was delightful. They have lots of ability to customize playlists and specify what you do/don't like. You can be as vague as genres or specify whole playlists. Filling out the forms ended up being the most fun planning part of our wedding! He kept the dancefloor full, and with a small wedding of non-dancers, that is a considerable accomplishment! -

We chose Mint DJ Events for our wedding reception and let me tell you, we are so glad that we did!! Alex was very professional and always prompt to answer any questions that we had. The online portal makes it incredibly easy to select your preferences, make payments, and keep track of everything.
Mike Elliott was our DJ and we cannot say enough great things about him! We gave him, at most, 5 or 6 songs that we really wanted to hear and very little input other than "we like all genres of music". He absolutely delivered above and beyond our expectations! His mixes were PERFECT for every generation that was there to celebrate with us. Almost... -

From the beginning, working with Mint DJ Events was an incredible experience, and Alex Nepa just continued to wow us! We received so many compliments from our family and friends praising Alex's skills. We gave Alex a few parameters based on what we did and didn't want played and let him take it from there. We knew we were in good hands and loved not having to handpick a playlist. Alex read the crowd and kept everyone dancing all night long! He played our guests' requests and we are just so grateful he helped to make our wedding day PERFECT.
