Guiding Star Events, LLP is an event planning and consulting company located in beautiful South County, Rhode Island. Guiding Star Events, LLP was started in 2006 by an innovative event planner whose passion is to help everyone develop an exciting, fun and wonderful event that will bring joy to their lives.

The company is dedicated to guiding each client through every step of the event’s journey. Whether the event is big or small, Guiding Star Events, LLP will provide creative ideas for everything from invitations and guest lists to food and favors. We will bring a little non-tradition to the beautiful old customs. We’ll even be there with on-site coordination to ensure a smooth and fun-filled day.
 
The company specializes in weddings, fundraisers, birthday parties and other social events. Guiding Star Events, LLP services Rhode Island and the southeastern areas of Connecticut and Massachusetts. Lucia Cordone, Guiding Star Events, LLP’s owner and head consultant, has been in the event industry for ten years. She has worked on a wide variety of events ranging from rock concerts and theatre to weddings to fundraisers.

Looking back after our wedding, we decided that the best money we spent was on the wedding planner. During wedding planning, and on the big night, Lucia was organized, efficient and calm. She handled everything that I asked her to do with ease and punctuality from negotiating with vendors to handling difficult party guests! She was always upbeat and knowledgable and I can’t imagine how our wedding would have turned out without her. Our wedding was the best evening of our lives, and I know that we owe it all to Lucia!

When I met Lucia at a wedding that we did together in Narragansett , I immediately felt at ease with her and her staff. She has a very warm nature and I knew that our bride was in good hands with her. She called me to meet and to go over a few things but didn't overwhelm me with unnecessary details. The bride and her family were very pleased with her and in fact they told me they gave her an A+ for her attention to detail and keeping everything flowing so smooth. I hope that we get to work together again soon!
