Greg and Jennifer are phenomenal professionals and my wife, Laura and I are so happy we selected them to be our Photography team at our wedding in June, 2016. Laura met Greg at a bridal show and was impressed with his work and his personality. As we were working on selecting a photographer for our big day, we set up a meeting at Greg's house and met with Greg and Jennifer. After that meeting, where we got to know them better and saw many samples of their work, we decided that Greg and Jennifer were the right selection! Naomi and Greg photographed our wedding and Jennifer was key in coordinating all the shots we had previously discussed. They captured so many great shots including some amazing sunset captures we will cherish for our lifetime. We even fit in something that was important to us which was a shoot between the ceremony and reception at a playground on the swings.
After our big day, Greg and Jennifer followed up wonderfully! They sent us 13 great, retouched shots the next day and had the entire set of good shots which totaled 783 ready for us to review within a few weeks! We were able to share those on a website with all our friends and family and also received all the images on a disc. Then, when the timing was right for us, we met with Greg and Jennifer again to discuss our dream wedding album. They were very accommodating & timely when we went back and forth through e-mail to get every image and page just how we wanted.

We had the pleasure of working with Greg for both our engagement and wedding photos. Both experiences were great and we have so many beautiful photos to choose from! We have had several wonderful experiences working with Greg. He has shot our family pictures for a few years now at different locations in the San Diego area, including Presidio Park and La Jolla cove. Greg has been timely, professional, and easy going. Whenever we got engaged we knew Greg was our only choice for engagement and wedding photos. During our engagement session at Balboa Park Greg would crack jokes at just the right time to give my fiancé and I the genuine smiles that I wanted in our photographs. Leading up to the wedding, Greg patiently worked with us to create a family shot list to accommodate our very large family. He and Jennifer did a great job managing our family members to get all the family shots we needed. The posed family shots turned out beautifully, but my favorite photos were of all the candid moments Greg was able to capture. He even was able to get some cute shots of our nephews, who were having “toddler moments” throughout the night. Greg exceeded our expectations and we will continue to look to him for all of our photography needs.

You'd be silly not to hire Greg for your photography needs! He has so much experience and so much raw artistic talent - he captured our event with really stunning photos. We searched for a long time to find the right photographer and ultimately decided to go with Greg after seeing the richness of his work - brilliant vivid colors and an artistic eye. In addition to the raw talent, Greg and his beautiful wife Jennifer were such a pleasure to work with - so genuine and sincere. They took so much stress out of the day by being easy going despite the fact that we were running late. They were also able to efficiently organize a large group for the family photos. The overall value, experience, ease, etc was better than I think we could have found anywhere. We had several of our guests tell us that the "photographer really knew what he was doing"...we agree. We had the pleasure of having Greg Nelsen as our photographer for our wedding last November. I met him at a Bridal Bazaar last Spring and he was very friendly. I set up an appointment with him and my husband-to-be at the time and we also met his beautiful wife. We had a great conversation and we decided to have them photograph our wedding. He was responsive to emails, very flexible throughout the whole planning. We did the engagement photoshoot and it was very relaxed and easy. The pictures turned out beautiful and had some of the pictures used as part of the wedding decorations. Greg was so awesome. He did a sighting of the chapel where we got married before the wedding day. My mom was able to show him the chapel and took some test shots of her. He also ended up driving the best man to the reception after we had some transportation issues. So overall, he was just super nice and easy-going. But of course, that also came with great photographs! We got some previews the day after the wedding! Then two weeks later, as promised, we got the rest. We got so many pictures and he was able to capture all the beautiful moments we remember. Thank you Greg for doing such a fantastic job that all of us enjoyed, and that we will treasure forever. Every aspect of our experience with Greg & Jennifer was fantastic! Thank you so much for everything, and especially the amazing shots! They were very friendly and professional from the beginning. My husband & I were impressed with their attentiveness and quick response throughout the wedding planning, and both were exceptionally helpful on our special day! We were planning a wedding from out-of-state, but Greg made the process that much easier. They even took the time to scope-out our wedding venue and reception site so as to make the photos that much better. Greg was 100% accommodating and didn't charge us any additional fees or surprises, and even brought an additional photographer for our wedding (thank you Courtney!). Working with Greg was fantastic! I'm so glad we had the opportunity to meet them beforehand as it definitely eased our minds, as well as both Greg & Jennifer gave us some great tips and pointers for the ceremony. Greg was very laid back and funny, but professional and respectful. We're not exactly the creative type, but he managed to get quite a few out of us. We got a lot of really great posed pictures, but from the wedding our favorites were the ones that captured candid moments with us and the guests! I would definitely recommend Greg to anyone in CA and coming to San Diego from out of state! It all worked perfectly for us and the price was certainly right! Where do I even begin?! Greg is simply AMAZING!!!!! When we had a question prior to the wedding he was right there to answer it, rapidly!!! On the day of, Greg was so focused to the fine detail’s it made me that much more relaxed knowing we had someone just as focused as we are. He was accommodating, friendly, and such a pleasure to work with. My fiancé(now hubby) is extremely shy but Greg had him laughing and enjoying every second of pictures! Our wedding was October 11th and Greg sent us a little sneak peek and boy, were WE ARE AMAZED on the 4 photos!!!! SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!! We can't wait to see more and I know when we do, I'll need a box of tissue next to me cause I'm going to relive my fairytale wedding all over again :)

We won a free engagement shoot with Greg shortly after our engagement from a bridal show event. Our pictures turned out amazing! He was one of the first vendors we booked and we couldn't have been happier! He is so laid back but organized and professional. He had 6 professional shots to me the next day and they were stunning! People would see them and kept asking who our photographer was. Greg has a number of years of experience and recently started shooting weddings, so when we booked him he only had a few examples which made me hesitant at first. however, you could tell he had true talent and I'm so glad I followed my guy and booked him. Our pictures were beautiful, vibrant and full of color!
