After signing with GLOW, we emailed several times for vendor recommendations and quick clarification questions.
In the immediate lead-up to our wedding, we met with GLOW and our caterer at the venue. They were a great team! They walked us through the details for the wedding night and shared a nearly minute-by-minute schedule. They worked with us over the next few weeks to fill in any gaps and make any last-minute changes. They then distributed it to our other vendors. They even attended our rehearsal dinner to make sure our immediate families and wedding party knew what to expect and to collect any items we didn't want to worry about forgetting on the wedding day.
On the wedding day itself, we knew we could relax and enjoy our celebration with family and friends because GLOW had it under control!

Kristi and Missy, from Glow Weddings were extremely helpful and organized throughout the entire wedding planning process and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone getting married in the DMV area.

Glow Weddings is very flexible and offers a variety of different wedding planning packages, from one in which you receive help only on the day of the wedding (and plan everything else yourself) to one where Kristi does basically everything for you. We selected something in between these choices. We selected and contacted the vendors ourselves, but Kristi gave us plenty of recommendations and advice along the way.

It's hard to remember all of the things she helped us with, since there are so many details that go into planning a wedding, but she clearly has extensive knowledge of every part of the process. She helped keep us on track throughout the process and ensured that we were getting everything done in time, and that no task fell through the cracks.

The month or so leading up to the wedding was when we really knew we could not have executed our wedding so well without the help of Kristi and Missy. Planned everything out to the minute, made sure we had a detailed schedule, that there were no mistakes with our seating chart, that everyone, from the bridesmaids/groomsmen, to our officiant, the caterers, etc. knew where they were supposed to be and when, and they made sure the setup of the tables, all of the decorations of the venue, etc. were taken care of. The level of organization was incredible. We were able to have a pretty much perfect wedding, where everything went as well as we could have imagined. We have Kristi and Missy from Glow Weddings to thank for that, and we really cannot say enough about them!

We hired Glow (Kristi and Missy) for day-of coordination of our wedding at Woodend Sanctuary and Mansion. Despite not having initially budgeted for a day-of coordinator, we quickly realized that hiring one would be an investment that would allow us to fully enjoy the day we had worked so hard to plan. With Glow, "day-of coordination" feels almost like a misnomer. Kristi was so responsive and helpful, offering vendor recommendations and answering questions long before the day of the wedding. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, they walked us through a questionnaire that ensured nothing would fall through the cracks, and, from it, they created personalized checklists to guide us through the home stretch of tasks and itineraries for our wedding party and vendors. By wedding day, we were so confident that Kristi and Missy had everything under control that we were able to truly relax and enjoy the little moments. Hiring Glow was the best (and best-value!) decision we made!
