Hello Everyone,

Well let me start by Thanking You for taking the time and viewing my work...

My name is Horacio Guerrero founder of Foto Shy Studio~photography in Southern, CA. I been photographing close to 5 years now,
my journey began as a staff photographer for the
Santa Ana Community College Paper "El Don".

From there, I have photographed several Weddings, Quinceañeras/Sweet Sixteen, Local Artist and Special Events. At the moment, I'm working with no or some experienced models in helping them expand their portfolios.

My ultimate goal is to open my own studio/model management company or work with a great print media company or magazine. But for the mean time I love to be behind the camera and express my style. I know that my work and passion is  my drive and it will take me to the level that I yet need to reach. I thanks God, my family, friends, collagues and especially my wife for their continuous support.

Is your media preference film or digital?
AlI of my work is done in Digital.
 
How many photographers do you work with?
I useually work on my own but if the event requires I will have one additional photographer with me.
 
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
I'm the main photographer so my presence is a most.
 
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I do not overbook.
 
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I do have replacement photogaphers just incase of unforseen situations.
 
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Nikon D70, flash, tripods.
 
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes, I always bring additional equipment just in case.
 
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I charge mostly for the full day unless a special request
 
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
I offred my service either hourly of for the full day depending on the packege that the couple chooses.
 
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
The number of breaks are determined by the magnitute of the event.
 
Do you charge for travel?
All travel expanses are to be paid by the bride and groom.
 
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Proof will be ready to view 3 to 4 week period depending on work load.
 
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
The proofs are offered through my wedsite in a private gallery for the bride and groom to see first.
 
How long can the client keep the proofs?
The couple are able to keep the proofs for a duration of 2 months.
 
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Foto Shy Studio ~ photography reatins all of the copyrights to the photographs.
 
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Foto Shy Studio ~ photography reserves the right to publish, distribute all photographs.
 
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Copies of the negatives can be provided upon request.
 
Will images be available for viewing online?
A private web gallery will be created for the couple and guest to see.
 
What kind of albums do you offer?
Leather and Digital Albums are available.
 
When will the client get the final album?
The timeline for the final book will be 5 - 6 week period depending on work load.

Tips and Advice
Few tips before you journey into the unknown and obstacles of planning your perfect wedding...

1) Level of quality:
The level of quality of a photographer is not explained by a fancy talking sales man/woman or contract. A good quality photographer will convey the feelings that you want him or her to capture during your wedding day.
So, as you talk and explore make sure you feel before you choose.
 
2) Cost:
          You can be shown breathtaking photographs but before you sing anything make sure you read and ask questions. This will help not only understand your wedding packet but also make sure you are not taken for your money. A sound photographer will be able to tell you clearly and exactly what you are paying for.
 
3) Value:
Good Value? How can one measure the value of treasure memories? No one can! But one can make insure by purchasing the best quality for the least amount of money. Not just paying the least amount of money possible. This can create headaches in the future by received poor quality of work and prove more expansive down the line an even the loss of your treasure moments. So don’t was your money by trying to save some.
