Describe your DJ style:
If you're looking for the cheesy wedding DJ type with props, etc., we are not for you!! Elite Sounds offers a modern twist to the stereotypical reception. Our DJ's have at least 10 years of experience, have worked for numerous Kansas City radio stations, and have opened for nationally touring artists. Each DJ has the ability to blend all genres of music in a "club style" format.
What is your usual attire?
Definitely no 1980 tuxedo type vests! We dress like one of your guests, which typically implies slacks, button up shirt, and a tie.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
No, we can get just about any song needed.

What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?

Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Yes. Let's sit down and get to know each other better so we can ensure that we are a good fit.

Yes
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
We offer LED par cans, DMX lighting, and an effects piece that creates the disco ball appearance for slow dances.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
1.5 Hours. I will need the site to provide at least a 6ft. table dressed any way the bride and groom see fit.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
No
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
We emcee all formalities, but never talk on the mic unless it is appropriate.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
No

What is your overtime rate?

There are no travel fees for events in the greater Kansas City area.
