Highly recommend DJ Tim!!

Working with Elite Sounds was a very smooth and enjoyable experience during an otherwise stressful wedding planning time. More specifically, DJ Tim was an incredible and integral part to making our wedding celebrations SO amazing. The party and fun was effortless with the music he played and vibes he brought. He was also so awesome to work with when doing pre-wedding discussions. He was so encouraging about our vision and any ideas we had, and executed everything with no problems at all. We would book Tim Gibson again in a heartbeat if we were to plan a wedding all over again!

Kyle was great throughout the process leading up to the wedding, being very thorough and asking all the necessary questions to make sure our reception went smoothly and just as we pictured. CJ the DJ is the best ever

We cannot recommend our wedding DJ highly enough! From start to finish, he was absolutely incredible. He took the time to listen to all of our requests and seamlessly incorporated them into the playlist, creating the perfect vibe for our special day. The dance floor was packed all night long, and it truly felt like a party tailored just for us and our guests.

His energy and professionalism were unmatched—he read the crowd perfectly and kept everyone engaged, from the first song to the very last. Whether it was honoring our must-play list, accommodating last-minute requests, or mixing tracks flawlessly, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right.

Thanks to him, we had the most fun, unforgettable dance floor ever, and our guests are still raving about how much they enjoyed it. If you want an amazing DJ who truly cares about making your wedding day perfect, look no further!

The Best DJ!

DJ Mickey and Elite Sounds were so great to work with. They have a terrific portal to input all relevant wedding information such as ceremony music, first dances, cocktail music, etc. Mickey was super communicative leading up the the wedding with 3 meetings (introduction, 30 days out, and 1 week out). He was very fun to work with and super easy going. On our wedding day he worked with our day of coordinator and was fully prepared for ceremony and reception. There were a couple of challenging transitions we put him up to during the reception where he rolled with the punches and made sure it still flowed smoothly. Overall, we can’t recommend working with Mickey and Elite Sounds enough!

Best night EVER!

Elite sounds was a knock out for our special day. DJ Mickey met with us several times before the day to ensure the schedule and timeline. During the wedding, he was professional, courteous and most of all, FUN. Our dance floor was full from start to finish and everyone had so much fun. 10/10 recommend. Best To Work With!

Mickey was fantastic to work with! He was very detailed and fulfilled all of our requests. On the day before and during the big day, he made sure to check with us to confirm everything. He introduced everyone perfectly. We were worried about the timing (longer reception due to it being New Year's Eve) and he timed everything out so well, we didn't have to worry and the night flew by without a hitch! Highly recommend Elite Sounds for a wedding, and request Mickey as the DJ!

One of the best wedding decisions we made!

DJ Mickey Beach is the BEST! I cannot emphasize that enough, and this is coming from someone who works in the wedding industry. We hired Elite Sound Events/Mickey for our wedding this summer, and we truly had the time of our lives on the dance floor. He let me make my own playlist for the cocktail hour/dinner to ensure the vibes were exactly what I wanted and had us make a list of must plays, play if possibles, and absolutely do not plays for the open dance floor. This helped him get a good feel for what kind of music we like, but still allowed him to read the room and play what needed to be played to keep the party going. He was also a great emcee which is crucial! Communication was excellent leading up to our wedding, and Mickey was very nice and easy to work with. We got so many compliments after the wedding about how fun the dance floor was and how the party never died. My husband crowd-surfed, we both did the worm (in our wedding attire), and we had friends doing the splits on bass drops. All this to say -- do yourself a favor and hire Mickey with Elite Sound!

Tim Gibson at Elite Sounds is the best

Tim Gibson at Elite Sounds was one of the best wedding vendor recommendations that we received for our wedding. We told him the vibe we wanted to achieve and he nailed it. Everyone was dancing the entire time. The lights really made the space look so cool. Tim was able to play music inside and outside at our indoor/outdoor event. Tim was an excellent communicator. The platform that Elite Sounds uses to build the wedding time line and playlist was very easy to work with. Tim even took photos and videos for us of the dance floor. He truly crushed it and we could not have asked for a better experience.

Best Party in Town!

Booking Elite Sounds was one of the easiest decisions we made during the wedding process. I am not musically inclined at all, and they gave me such great direction and reassurance throughout the process. I was nervous leading up to the day because I could not picture how the music would come together but truly it felt like Martell knew us so well and with every song he played I look at my guest and husband and said yes I LOVE this song!! I am so glad we got paired with him as his kindness on every call and day was so sweet and caring. We also go a letter from him in the mail after our wedding that was so thoughtful! Everyone loved it and I can't be any happier with them.

Elite Sounds for Every Wedding! They made our day rock!

Elite Sounds is really the best in Kansas City. We used them as a DJ and Photobooth and we were happily pleased. In terms of value, we had everything we wanted and more for a really affordable price. From start to finish, Craig was with us every step of the way making sure everything was perfect and easy to manage. When we got assigned our DJ, Paul - that was best thing ever. Paul has ability to read the room and play songs that work. We gave him quite a big list of songs and did it last minute - and he made everything work and be so amazing. People are still talking about our wedding and how great the DJ Paul is.

Professional, Organized, & Oh So Fun!

We so enjoyed having Elite Sounds DJ our wedding! We were paired with Tim Gibson and he was incredibly responsive and answered all of our questions before the wedding day and made the actual day run so smoothly! He kept the flow of events going and had great song selections/mixing so people were up dancing all night long. :) Additionally, we loved that they provide you with an online client portal to add in all song selections and timelines to ensure nothing got lost or forgotten.

Highly Recommend - Best DJ for our best day!

Elite Sounds was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout the entire process, highly recommend. We ended up working with them over 2 years after postponing our wedding twice, and Craig was super easy to work with and responsive the whole time. Mickey was a great DJ for our big day! We aren't a big party couple who likes to dance, and Mickey was awesome to work with understanding our wants and also making sure the guests had a great time.

The perfect soundtrack to our wedding!

If I had to describe DJ Mickey Beach with Elite Sounds Entertainment Group in two words they would be CROWD PLEASER! When my fiance (at the time) and I were planning our wedding reception, we decided the music would be a top priority -- can't have a good party without good music right? We had a tough crowd -- mom had to have some classic rock, I wanted to hear some Sinatra & Dean Martin, my friends wanted booty-shakin music...we were all over the board. Somehow, DJ Mickey knocked it out of the park for everyone! We had a ton of guests and OTHER VENDORS coming up to us commenting on how excellent our DJ was--and we couldn't agree more! When people ask how our wedding went, my go-to line is "It was one heck of a party!" and that is due in large part to DJ Mickey! If you're looking for a fun DJ who can emcee your event flawlessly and gracefully AND keep everyone on the dance floor all night, look no further!

Thank you so much, you are awesome! We wouldn't change anything! my family was raving about how polite and professional you were and I agree. You had the dance floor as full as could be and it was great :-) even the people that "don't dance" were dancing. We give you a 5, if I could give you a higher score I would haha!
Quality of Service: you went above and beyond to make Allan and I feel special and were so helpful.
Responsiveness: you were easy to communicate with and super flexible with our meetings prior to the wedding and during the wedding worked with our timeline hiccups.
Professionalism: So professional! you were polite and professional to our guest and the venue. We appreciate your professionalism!
Value: You took into account the request that allan provided and played all the the good stuff! You even replayed fancy like for me so I could dance with my family since I missed it the first time around haha I'm sure I was the only one that appreciate that but it was awesome!
Flexibility: you were flexible in so many ways, when we had to start the ceremony late due the the wreck you were waiting patiently and ready for the changes. When my bouquet was lost and it took me forever to come out and walk down that aisle I had faith that if the song ended you would have made a smooth transition and made it work. You also let me give you a head nod when I was ready to end the dance with my mom which was a life saver!
The entire day we had confidence that you were going to be on point and we had nothing to worry about so thank you!

Amazing Experience!

The entire Elite Sounds Team was amazing to work with! We used the DJ services, photo booth, and uplighting. Kenny Duncan was an exceptional DJ choice for our wedding. My husband and I were married nearly two years ago and people still bring up how great the music and dance floor were! In the process, Kenny was very communicative and a pleasure to work with. From the suggestions we gave, he curated a playlist that kept the dance floor full for hours! Additionally, Kenny was fantastic with his flexibility throughout the evening. When changes came up with timing, he was able to announce the adjustments clearly, seamlessly, and in a way that didn't interrupt the good time that people were having. The photo booth was also such a hit! Our photo booth attendant Paul was fun, interactive, and encouraged people to come back for pictures all night long. It was easy to coordinate the details of the uplighting and it was beautifully set up. My wife and I are so grateful for Kenny and the Elite Sounds Team for the role they played in making our special day so wonderful!

We used Elite Sounds Entertainment Group for our photo booth at our wedding on 11/14/2020, (their dj services were booked, otherwise we would have used them for our dj as well). Craig is a breeze to work with. Isaiah was the photo booth attendant and was beyond amazing at the reception. He worked great with the kids who pretty much didn’t leave the booth, and he handled the photo taking so we weren’t all touching the camera set up. At the end of the evening he asked if there was anything else he could help outside of his photo booth services. Extremely grateful to have worked with this company, they helped make the day special!

Above and beyond!

We would give Elite Sounds 100 stars if we could! We worked with Craig, the owner, to create a custom mix for our first dance song and loved the end result. Our DJ, Mike, kept the dance floor going all night, emceed everything perfectly, and had a fun yet professional attitude throughout the planning and wedding. Elite Sounds went above & beyond on our wedding day when our officiant suddenly could not attend in person due to covid, and they were able to set up a laptop to Zoom our officiant in & run the sound and mics so everyone in attendance still heard the ceremony perfectly. They had such a helpful attitude about the whole thing and we truly could not have been happier!

Amazing dj and photo booth

Tim was absolutely amazing. Our wedding guest count was a mere 30% of what we originally expected (yay covid) but Tim and Isaiah (who worked the photo booth) made the whole experience amazing. Tim provided music for both the ceremony and reception, and it was everything I dreamed of. He kept the guests dancing and made sure everyone's energy stayed up the entire time. You Won't Regret This

I do not have enough words to describe how pleasant of an experience we had with Mickey and the Elite Sounds team. In the first five minutes of our initial phone conversation with Mickey I knew we wouldn't have to worry about a thing on our wedding day. He was so easy to talk to, extremely understanding of our style and preferences, and made the effort to make sure we felt comfortable and heard. I was 100% right about not having to worry about a thing on our big day. He took care of everything, played the best music, and made sure everything flowed.

We got compliment after compliment both on and after our wedding day about how incredible Mickey was. I promise you if you book the Elite sounds team you will not be disappointed.

Our DJ Mickey did an amazing job for our wedding! He helped us pick out our special songs and was able to work with us when we wanted to change song choices. Because of Covid we had to move the ceremony up and change around songs. He was completely flexible and worked with us. Wonderful DJ!

Elite Sounds was an absolutely wonderful company to work with for our wedding! They communicated everything very clearly with us and helped us plan the perfect music and entertainment for our reception. We had Mickey B. as our DJ and he was PHENOMENAL! From the planning meetings before the wedding all the way through the reception, he was very attentive and made sure we were happy with what was happening. He would make sure we were okay with requests, he would check in on us during the reception (i.e. is the music okay, do you need anything, etc.). He really went above and beyond and made the reception so perfect!

Covid wedding

Elite Sounds was wonderful to work with from the beginning! We were supposed to get married in March 2020- but of course COVID-19 made us postpone our wedding with very short notice. During this, Craig at Elite Sounds gave us a list of dates they had available for the rest of the year and we were able to change our date to August on the same day that we had decided to postpone.
When it finally came time for our wedding Ryan was an amazing DJ and our guests loved him! He accommodated all of our DJ needs for our wedding!
We had a blast working with Ryan and Craig and would use them again in a heartbeat!❤️

Fantastic! Would absolutely book again!

Ryan with Elite Sounds, and Elite Sounds in general, was fantastic. They worked with us to reschedule since our wedding day had to move due to COVID. Ryan was communicative and enthusiastic in all meetings leading up to the event and even when we were behind on information upload, he was understanding, positive, and consistently excited. Everyone at the wedding loved his performance and he was able to work the room in an incredible fashion. Would absolutely book again and 100% recommend. Ryan - thank you sir!

Kept The Party Going!

Elite Sounds was PERFECT for my wedding. Craig, the owner, was so professional, helpful, and organized every step of the way. Their online portal makes making music suggestions and planning songs for those special parts of the evening so easy. Kenny was our DJ and he was OUTSTANDING! On more than one occasion throughout the night, he was able to get every single guest out onto the floor together with his song selection and timing! His mixing between songs was seamless and we got several compliments from people on how he kept the party going all night. There never were any awkward moments. He only got on the mic when he absolutely had to (to announce things), which we really appreciated. Beyond DJing, we also got some uplighting and did the photo booth. The uplighting really was able to set the mood during each part of the evening. We got SO many compliments from people about the photo booth. My sister even said that she normally hates photo booths and never sees anyone using them, but by the end of the night she had gone 5 different times and swears she will have one at her wedding now because it was so fun to do! Elite Sounds overall was so amazing to work with and made our night so wonderful. I have zero complaints!

So much fun

Craig was so, so great to work with. He is extremely responsive and was understanding of how we wanted our day to look (er, sound*!) We had DJ Francisco as our wedding DJ and he was awesome. I danced the entire night and had a blast the whole time. He kept everyone on the dance floor and kept our personal style in mind throughout the night. I'd recommend Elite in a heartbeat!

Absolute Perfection and Best Party Ever!

Craig, the owner, is thorough, responsive, proactive, enthusiastic, and brilliant at what he does. Not only that, I felt like an absolute priority any time we talked or met, and he was committed to ensuring our entire day and event were perfect. His team—especially our assigned DJ, Mike—is truly remarkable. I so appreciated their attention to detail, their creativity, their commitment to seeing our vision through, and all the ways they tried to make the process easy. We ordered uplighting through Elite Sounds, too, and can’t recommend their lighting services enough. Our guests hit the dance floor and never left, thanks to the amazing music they provided. Amazing experience from beginning to end

Tim Gibson was our DJ for our wedding and he did an amazing job. He was professional and thorough in our meetings which eased my stress on the big day. But most importantly, he made our reception the dance party we dreamed of. Everyone got on the dance floor as some point in the evening and most people stayed for the whole party. Thanks Tim!

Amazing!!!

Tim Gibson was our DJ and I could go on and on about how amazing he was! He kept the dance floor alive all night! We met with him prior to our wedding and made a timeline that was laid out perfectly to make our night stress free! He played the best music and knew exactly how to make everyone have a good time!

Mickey was the best! He was so professional and helped my wedding day run so smoothly! I loved having the library provided to help with song selection it made everything so much easier! Tim Y. was the DJ that worked with us for our big day. He was professional and fun to work with! He definitely knows the ins & outs of entertaining large crowds and was able to handle a hectic schedule & any last minute changes to keep the party moving. He was amazing! Elite Sounds WAS AMAZING! All the communication before and after the wedding was phenomenal. They played exactly the music we needed for our vibe. Meeting with Mickey helped him get a grasp on our vibe of us and the event. I wouldn't have picked another DJ to put a soundtrack to our BEST DAY EVER. Mickey for President

My husband and I got married at Foundation Event Space this past September. I originally had a different DJ in mind but when we found out Elite Sounds was a preferred vendor at our Venue we decided to go with them and thank goodness we did! The DJ is arguably one of the most important parts of a wedding as far as vendors go (especially if you don’t have a wedding planner). They keep things moving and make sure guests and the bride and groom are having a blast on the dance floor. In my first call with Craig, he took the time to answer all of my ridiculous questions and then booked us with Mickey as our event day DJ. Mickey was incredible! He was quick to respond to every email sent and helped create a timeline for all our vendors to be on the same page. He was very organized, professional and helped us plan out all the little details we had never even thought about. The ceremony music was perfectly timed. He flawlessly mixed songs for our choreographed father/daughter dance, as well as all the songs throughout the evening, and worked well with all the Vendors and myself to keep the night flowing smoothly. I would 100% recommend Mickey and Elite Sounds to anyone and everyone looking for a DJ for their event. It was perfect!

Professional, experienced and perfect DJ services!

Tim Gibson from Elite Sounds was a DJ Dream Come True! From the very beginning, he was punctual, experienced, professional, and had excellent communication skills. He knew all the right questions to ask even before we did, and he was SO helpful when we needed suggestions. We have gotten SO MANY compliments on the music from the dance portion of our reception, and that is thanks to Tim’s ability to know us as a couple, read the crowd, and use his experience to play THE best tracks for the “vibe” of the wedding.

Tim Gibson was the perfect DJ...and he will be the first person we call if we ever need one again! Thank you, whole heartedly, Elite Sounds for giving us Tim!

The Best Experience

Fransisco was amazing. Over the the time of planning our wedding the company and Fransisco worked with us along the way to provide an individualized service. Fransisco worked with us providing ideas to give us the best product possible. They are super flexible with small last minute changes and work with anyone who is giving a speech so they are prepared and comfortable. Several of our guests own their own DJ company and they were throughly impressed with the service.

Overall I would say if you're on the fence, definitely reach out and meet with them. They are able to provide an individualized package and are worth the price. All of the DJs have a ton of experience and can justify their pricing with the quality service the provide.

Mickey was our DJ and did the BEST JOB! We could not have asked for a better and more professional company. They are willing to do anything to make your event special. Crazy good!

We had Tim from Elite sounds and he killed it. He is crazy experienced and was super easy to talk to! Because of his experience, we could lean on him for some decisions which helped a lot! Couldn't have been better!!

Nothing but great things to say about Elite Sounds! From start to finish they provided the best entertainment experience we could have asked for. Craig provided all the info we needed on what to expect & helped us decide on which equipment would be needed for our wedding. DJ Tim was a tremendous help in facilitating some of the formalities of the evening like the cake cutting, toasts, first dance, etc. & read the room perfectly & kept our guests dancing all night long. Keenan kept the photobooth going smoothly & was patient & helpful as guests made their way over & Mickey was quick in sending the photobooth photos after the event. Great all around, will recommend to friends & family for their weddings!

Best DJ service in Kansas City!

I can't say enough about Elite Sounds and our experience with them! From our first meeting with Craig, they were very professional and you could tell they truly cared about making sure their DJ gave you the best experience possible at your event.

We had DJ Kenny for our wedding reception and from our first meeting with him as well, he was very professional and detail oriented. The day of the reception was no different and he was able to adapt quickly to changes as they arose. Plus, not only was Kenny an amazing DJ but he's also just an overall good guy!

We added on the photo booth offered by Elite Sounds as well. The attendant was very professional and this was a great addition to our reception.

My wife and I would highly recommend Elite Sounds for your event!

My husband and I knew we picked the right company for our wedding entertainment from the first meeting. Craig was professional, nice, and helpful with making decisions for our reception. Martell was the perfect DJ! He had our guests dancing from prelude to last song. We had fun planning with him. He made great song suggestions and matched our vibe. We highly recommend Martell. Great dj and team!

We used Elite sounds and DJ Tim Gibson for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier. Before we even got to the wedding day we had multiple phone conversations as well as face-face meetings to go over details and plans for the wedding day. This was very helpful. We also used Elite sounds for uplighting and custom monogram which was BEAUTIFUL! Tim and his team even made a custom mix for my husband and his mother for their Mother/son dance...definitely went above and beyond to help! On the actual wedding day Tim G was a great MC, kept the music flowing and the dance floor was filled all night. The monogram and lighting looked great and we couldn't have been happier. Huge shout-out to Tim Gibson, Craig, Mickey and the whole Elite sounds team! Thanks for helping make the day so special!

Recommendation

First, I loved how they scheduled everything way in advance to help keep everything in order, as well as meeting several times to get the details right in case something had changed last minute. Mickey was really amazing. I love how he took the time to really help us with the itinerary for the night to keep the party moving. I also loved that he had some amazing ideas when we had no idea where to start, but also incorporated what I wanted into the night also. I also liked how they had a variety of selections, as well as sound bits to know what the evening was roughly going to sound like. Overall, it was amazing.

Incredible DJ!

DJ Mike absolutely CRUSHED our reception! The #1 thing I wanted to do was dance. We love hip hop, especially form the early 2000s. We expressed this to Mike and his eyes lit up. It was a match made in heaven! His passion for music and ability to keep the party lit made our reception everything we wanted. He checked in with each of us once to make sure we were still calibrated as the night went on and then executed what we talked about. As we are recapping the wedding with our friends, every one of them said, 'your DJ was awesome!' Thank you so much, Mike!

Todd Howerton and Elite Sounds are THE BEST

Elite Sounds is the best! I initially met with Craig who was very helpful going over the different options and getting a feel for what we wanted our reception to be like. I had requested Kenny as our DJ based on a friend’s recommendation and I am so glad I did. Kenny is awesome! He is upbeat, personable and definitely knows what he is doing. He offers suggestions but really lets you guide what you want for your reception. So many people commented on how much they loved the DJ at our wedding. I also was in contact with Mickey about some details for the photo booth, lighting, etc and he was responsive and helpful The prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend Elite Sounds!

All-Night Dance Party

I booked Elite Sounds for my wedding in October at the Guild. I met with Craig at his studio, and he gave me a really clear view of what to expect from any of his DJs. He went over all of the options and extras I could add on. I chose to add the uplighting, as he showed me pictures of what it would look like against brick. The lighting was INCREDIBLE! It was subtle but definitely added to the overall vibe in the room. Craig scheduled two meetings with my DJ, Todd, to review timelines and specifics. Since I lived out of town, Todd reviewed everything with me through email and over the phone. It was super easy, and he made suggestions but still went with my vision. The day of my wedding, Todd was punctual, provided a wireless microphone for my officiant, and kept the party on the dance-floor the entire night! Everyone had major compliments about the music, and complaints about how much their feet hurt the next day from dancing! I highly recommend Todd from Elite Sounds for an all-night dance party!

All we could have asked for and more!

We were impressed with Elite Sounds almost out of the gate when we had our first meeting with Craig (owner). He sat down with us to get details of our wedding and then got to know us as a couple. We met with another DJ after this and even though he was a little cheaper we just felt like would be better taken care of by Elite Sounds. Craig picked Tim Gibson as our DJ for our wedding. We cannot say enough good things about Tim he was the perfect fit for us and made our night truly special! We met with Tim about a month out from the wedding to go over everything and he was on board with all of our ideas and didn't try to talk us out of anything even if it meant more work for him. He also gave us some great suggestions. On our big day he was everything we imagined. All the ceremony music went perfectly and when the reception started he kept us on the dance floor all night playing all of our favorite songs and mixing in others we loved too. Our guests loved him as well. He let our "Ring bearer" go behind his table put on his headphones and play a song and even scratch a little bit. I know that made his night!. We would highly recommend Elite sounds and DJ Tim Gibson to anyone looking for a wedding DJ or DJ for any type of event! You will not be disappointed.

Our experience with Elite was excellent from the very first interaction - we had a great consultation with Craig, and we felt like he really listened to what we were looking for while also providing expertise we needed. As soon as we booked, we got calendar invitations for all of the big dates we needed to keep track of, which was so helpful. The online planning portal and guest request link also made things easy. Honestly, we were a little nervous about the music part of our wedding because we typically aren't big dancers, but our DJ Francisco was AMAZING. He played a huge variety of music. There was something for everyone - my grandma, our friends, and he even managed to pull out Baby Shark for the little kids. It really felt like he was making decisions on the spot based on the crowd feedback he was getting, and it worked perfectly. I can't say enough positive things about Elite - highly recommend!

Honestly I couldn't recommend them more. They were so easy to work with, did such a good job, and were so accommodating to what we requested. Tim was great and getting it set up took no effort. Would recommend them to anyone in need of DJ services- and the photo booth was great too!

Elite Sounds Entertainment Group could not have been any better! The communication between the DJ and us was exactly what I needed in order to stay sane throughout the whole planning process. I felt very reassured that everything we wanted was going to run smoothly on our special day, and it did! The DJ was incredible and very involved throughout the night in making sure things went at the times WE wanted them to. We also used their photo booth and I can certainly tell you without a doubt that it was a major hit with the guests! If I ever have another event where I would need a DJ, then I will be giving Elite Sounds a call! If you're looking for a company that clearly knows their stuff, then look no further!!!

My husband and I got married in June and we worked with Elite Sounds for our ceremony and reception and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. We originally met with Craig who runs Elite Sounds and then we worked with DJ Tim Gibson for our actual wedding day. They have an online system to help you organize what you want and need to plan for your wedding which was so incredible helpful- especially since we were planning from afar. You have the opportunity to submit the songs that you absolutely want played, songs you'd like played (if possible), and songs you don't want played. About five weeks before our wedding, we met with DJ Tim Gibson in person and discussed some more details about the wedding and he helped us formulate a timeline for the day. Tim had a ton of helpful suggestions, ideas, and recommendations which were so helpful. A few days before the wedding, we talked on the phone to run through any last minute questions. Then, on the day of the wedding, I (the bride) didn't have to worry about anything because Tim had it all covered. Tim had set up hours ahead of time at our venue. He ran the sound system for our outdoor ceremony. When pictures ran a little long post-ceremony, Tim helped us get back on track with our reception timeline. Tim played music during the cocktail hour and dinner. He recognized when guests were just about done eating so we could move on to cake cutting, first dance, toasts, etc. Then, when it was time to dance, Tim did a phenomenal job at reading the crowd and keeping the party going. I can't tell you how many people came up to me on the dance floor (in the middle of my wedding) to ask how we found such a great DJ- he was honestly just that phenomenal. Everything about them was great!!

We were so happy to have Elite Sounds for our wedding and Mickey was a fabulous DJ. He gave us real and meaningful suggestions for what he thought would work best, but he also listened to what we wanted. The dance floor was packed the whole night and he did a great job of reading the crowd. Our guests loved the music! We highly recommend Elite Sounds.

Our first interaction with Elite Sounds was with the owner Craig. From that meeting we were confident we would be in good hands. He was super down to earth, and we were excited to work with his company. Mickey was our DJ for our wedding reception at River Market Event Place, and he was awesome! From the initial meeting to the final result. When we met with him he really seemed to understand the vibe and kind of event we were throwing, and communicated effectively with us! What a great company, and a great DJ! We were very pleased with the service, as were our wedding guests! Our reception was such a blast, thanks to Elite Sounds.

We are a wedding venue, but I want to share our experience with Elite with as many couples as I can. After many years of searching for a DJ company to be in-house at our venue, we found Elite to be the most reliable and consistently professional company in Kansas City. For the past three years, we have had them as our in-house entertainment for couples and couldn't be more happy with how they have treated our clients. We enlisted Mickey (one of the Elite DJs) to be the Elite go-to contact for our client's events and he has gone above and beyond to create schedules and add memorable and unique elements in any way he can. Elite Sounds is amazing! I would recommend them to anyone! We met with Craig first, who was great and very easy to talk to and get along with and then our DJ for the wedding was Tim Gibson. We met a month before the wedding and went over all the details. He is very organized and wrote everything we said down on a word doc. He then communicated with my wedding coordinator and coordinator at our venue to make sure times and everything were correct! We met again one week before the wedding to review the material. Craig and Tim have never been to our venue before, so they actually took the time to go over there, check it out, and make sure their sound system would work OK. We greatly appreciated that! All of our guests were on the dance floor all night! They still talk about how great of a DJ Tim was! He listed to us and played the music we like and asked him to play as well as he took song requests from our friends and family that night. We would definitely hire Elite Sounds for any future events and highly recommend Tim Gibson as your DJ! Thank you SO much Elite Sounds for making our wedding night perfect!!

We debated getting a dj or using our venues plug in service and our own playlists. As soon as we met with Craig we knew we needed a professional. Every dime spent was beyond worth it. Our dj, Mickey, not only played amazing music all night but he guided the flow of the evening, was the emcee and routinely checked in with us. At our initial meeting Mickey also worked with us to make sure our timeline for the evening made sense and we felt so much relief knowing he'd be on site for the evening. If you're still looking or considering a dj, do it and do it with Elite Sounds.

These guys are the BEST! Professional, super talented, and willing to spend time and energy to make the event awesome! I absolutely loved working with ESEG! From beginning to end, they were incredibly easy to work with and made the whole planning process so simple and enjoyable! Take the time to meet with Craig from Elite Sounds and see what they have to offer! They are an incredible value, have excellent DJs (who really know their stuff) and offer a variety of services from DJ to uplighting to photo booths. No pressure on sales and very flexible on payment. Our DJ really helped moved the night along and keep everything on track, and took a personal interest in our vision and requests for the evening.

Meeting with Craig settled the decision of our DJ and we were not disappointed. He was so welcoming and is so knowledgeable and relatable. We had a great experience with Elite Sounds. Our first contacts with Craig were great and he was wonderful in providing us advice on how many uplights our reception space might need, etc. Our DJ was Kenny who was a really personable guy who we received countless compliments on throughout the wedding night and for days after! We had a blast dancing and he did a good job of balancing our favorites with general favorites to keep all kinds of guests on the dance floor. We had also rented the Photo Booth which people absolutely loved. I think we will get a copy of the Photo Booth strips to turn into our own special memory of the event. The person who came with Kenny to run the Photo Booth, etc. was also very kind and professional. They have a nice system to choose songs and to communicate to your MC how the events of the night will go.

I was really happy with our decision to go with Elite Sounds. I felt that they were excellent entertainment and that the price was very fair. I would advise anyone getting married to consider and have Elite Sounds as part of their big day.

Mike W. was amazing!!! He was super flexible with anything we wanted, worked with us during the wedding to make sure things were flowing as planned, and never let any time go between songs (which was really important for us). Our ceremony song was a YouTube video, and that was no problem for him to convert it into a song and make it sound great! The music he played was a crowd pleaser and kept everyone of all ages dancing all night! I had several vendors drop the ball and cause chaos at the wedding, and I am SO glad we went with Mike so we didn't have to worry about a thing. Money well spent and one of the best decisions we made!!

My entire experience with Elite Sounds was fantastic! We were matched up with DJ Ryan and we couldn't be happier! We had a tough crowd to please music wise - my side loves old country and loves to dance, but we didn't want to put his side to sleep. Ryan accepted the challenge with ease and had everyone on the floor! People danced so much their feet hurt the next day - this is definitely a good thing :). Not only will Ryan put on the most amazing mix of music, he is also the nicest man. Very professional and polite.

Tim Yach was my DJ and he did a fantastic job! He was able to accommodate all our requests, and kept the party going the whole night. My guests were dancing basically from the first moment we opened up the dance floor, until we had to shut the venue down.

My husband and I got married at River Market Event Place, who have a contract with Elite Sounds. Naturally, we met with them and immediately hired them. They have surround sound and lights installed at RMEP, so the sound quality was perfect! We had Ryan as our DJ, and he was great in keeping our evening on schedule. Elite Sounds Entertainment is by far one of the most professional & fun DJ companies in KC. We had Tim Yach as our DJ & he was absolutely great! He took our song suggestions & turned the reception into the dance party I had hoped we would have. I was a little nervous that people wouldn't dance very much at the wedding but boy was I wrong! The dance floor was packed with people I had never seen dance in my life! Even my now husband, who is usually pretty reluctant to get out on the dance floor, was out there dancing like I'd never seen before. We had so many guests comment on how fun our DJ was. Tim was great to work with throughout the whole process. He was very laid back & easy going while still being organized & professional. He helped the reception run very smoothly & kept things running on time. Tim Yach with Elite Sounds Entertainment is such an easy recommendation to make to other brides who are looking for a DJ who plays great wedding music without all the cliche things about wedding DJs. These guys are the awesome!

Caroline and Garrett, their live musicians, played our cocktail hour and dinner. Their amazing playlist includes everything from classics like Simon and Garfunkel and the Eagles to newer classics by Ray LaMontagne. They played an unbelievable rendition of Ray LaMontagne's "You Are The Best Thing" for our first dance song.
Both of their voices are incredible! We saw them play live before we had them play at our wedding reception and they create a fantastic environment. It can be soft and soulful or it can be upbeat and catchy.
Their sound is perfect for cocktail hour music or it can be a focal point of an event. They interact with the crowd and love to have fun. Multiple family members and friends came up to us throughout the evening and commented how the music made the event so personal. People connected with each song, whether they were older or younger.

When you watch and hear them, you can't help but smile. That's the easiest way to explain it. They have fun. You have fun. And the music is great.

Elite Sounds Entertainment far surpassed our expectations. I would have paid so much more for this vendor. Craig was our DJ. We had our wedding on my family's private residence in western Shawnee, KS. Craig came out to the property and walked around with us, taking in everything, asking questions to make sure he had every detail he needed, being that we had a more challenging venue to manage. We were so relieved that he wasn't scared off, but confident he could get everything right for us. After we walked around the property, he came inside and went through the entire wedding day with us. To the second of when songs would play, and if we wanted certain songs to start at certain points that were more fitting to the moment. He was the put so much thought and detail into making our day completely FLAWLESS. He thought of everything we didn't. Not only did Craig do our reception, he did the sound for the ceremony as well. It was truly the most phenomenal part of our wedding. Our gusts are STILL talking about it to us when we see them. I have never been more impressed with a business. Tim Gibson was the perfect DJ we could have asked for. He's very professional and you can tell it was not his first time DJing an event. I would definitely recommend using Mr. Gibson for any wedding or reception (he did both for us).

We can not say enough positive comments about Craig Loftis! Our daughter and son-in-law's wedding reception was incredibly fun in part to Craig's skill as DJ. He got everyone onto the dance floor and enjoying themselves. The day ran very smoothly with Craig's help. He announced the wedding party, toasts etc and kept the guests informed without being intrusive. He was very professional and we highly recommend your using his services! I would recommend Elite Sounds Entertainment Group again and again! They made the pre-planning process so easy, hassle free and fun! The reception planner was a great tool to use to outline the music we enjoyed. They sent us meeting requests to add dates to our calendars so that our "bride brain" didn't miss the meetings. We met with Kenny 30 days out from our wedding (even had some conflicts and he made rescheduling super easy). We left the meeting and my fiance was so much more excited for the wedding!

As an event coordinator, I second guessed quite a bit of everything I planned. Hiring Elite Sounds Entertainment Group was something I never second guessed. The day of the reception, I felt great knowing that Kenny had things taken care of and under control. Everything we pre arranged from our bridal party introduction, special remixed father daughter dance, to KU vs. K-State fight songs was flawless. I typically don't like to dance, but Kenny had me on the dance floor all night long. Our friends and family cannot stop talking about how this was the most perfect wedding they have been to and I credit it to Elite Sounds Entertainment Group.

Hands down, the best vendor I chose and the easiest to work with!
