I did the month-of package with A Dream Wedding Maui, and they were amazing to work with. I had a lot of the wedding planning done when I started to meet with them so I hesitated to do the month-of planning but I'm so glad that I did. They had so many amazing tips, local connections, and suggestions that made my life so much easier. They made the whole process so smooth, were always quick to respond to my questions, and were fun to work with. Maxyne was my primary go-to gal on the day of, and she was incredible. She was so calm, cool, and collected, and kept everything running smoothly without even breaking a sweat. I found out later there was a hiccup with one of the vendors, and she had it all figured out and resolved and kept me completely protected from the stress of it. She was such a calm and positive presence, and somehow was anticipating everything we needed to the point that she was always there waiting for me to guide me to through our next step before I could even think to ask. We had such a fun, stress-free day, and I feel like I owe a lot of that to Maxyne (and Kelly who was also there helping out for a few hours!). 10/10 experience, and would recommend them to anyone. A big big thank you to Ashley, Lindsay, Maxyne, and Kelly for making it all possible for us and giving us memories that we will cherish forever!!

We decided to elope in Hawaii in December, and we are so glad we did. Ashley‘s name was given to me by someone at a luxury hotel in Maui and am so grateful to have made the connection! Ashley and Lindsey were wonderful to communicate with and super thorough with tremendous follow up. They were extremely flexible with us even on two occasions when we were indecisive about things. They were very patient and kind. They also connected us with a fabulous officiant, Fred Torres. We were both so delighted with him and very impressed with how what we conveyed to Ashley and Lindsey about what we hoped for was truly understood by him. We were hoping for a non-religious ceremony steeped in some Hawaiian tradition, and Fred was really incredible about doing that and also sharing these Hawaiian rituals that felt really meaningful. We had worried that it would be formulaic since he didn’t know us, but it was anything but and instead very warm, tender, and even funny. Ashley and Lindsey also worked with an incredible florist, and I got the bouquet I really had only dreamed about— tropical and bright and happy looking! They also recommended a great makeup artist and hairstylist. We live on the East Coast and couldn’t see anything in advance, and Ashley and her team truly made the experience very easy! We highly recommend A Dream Wedding Maui and hope everyone who decides to use them is as happy as we are!

Wow where do I begin?! Ashley, the head of A Dream Wedding, was the absolute perfect wedding coordinator! From walking through venues in Kaanapali, to providing options for music, getting ready, and florals; She was the most knowledgeable and kind person anyone could ask for. Her team were extremely responsive (which can be difficult to find when trying to get a hold of resorts/vendors) they made it so easy and were always able to get answers and provide assistance quickly. As I was lucky enough to be planning this wedding with my mom, Ashley was a great buffer when needed and made everything feel so easy to bring my vision of my dream wedding to life! I cannot recommend Ashley and A Dream Wedding enough to anyone and everyone looking to get married in Maui! I will forever be grateful for literally the best week of my life and cherish the memories forever. Can’t wait to use her again for 10 year anniversary party!

Ashley was amazing! She hopped on multiple calls to keep us update on what needed to be done, listened to our ideas and made them a reality. She understood that the goal was to have as much of our wedding outdoors as possible and when scattered rain made it seem difficult she found a way! She definitely made the day go by smoothly and allowed me to remain in my "bride bubble" on the day of.

Even as a creative person who was looking forward to wedding planning, I wouldn’t have expected to enjoy the process as much as I did. Our experience with Ashley and the ADW team was so wonderful that I wanted to start it all over again as soon as the wedding was over, and I can’t imagine doing it without her.

We were drawn to work with Ashley right away because she felt like a talented, tasteful friend or big sister whose opinion you trust. This was exactly the energy I hoped to be surrounded by on the day and through the planning process. We had a fairly clear vision for our day that she understood and helped us bring to life, by both listening carefully to our ideas and by adding to them with valuable creative and logistic input; there was nothing more reassuring than hearing Ashley say “that’s what I would do!”.

Ashley and her team are full of brilliant tips that are specific to the island along with plentiful experience and passion for weddings in general. We always felt comfortable sharing questions or concerns, wild creative ideas, budget constraints etc. We were guided in the right direction with every vendor and the day was seamless, even when we needed to be flexible and shift the timeline. The ADW team perfectly balance a personal and professional approach (with our friends and family as well!) that this unique process calls for. Any couple would be lucky to work with Ashley and her team.

As I started to plan my destination wedding I knew I'd need at minimum a day of coordinator. I chose 3 companies with good reviews and interviewed each of them. The instant Ashley Ulery popped on the zoom call and started talking, it was like we were old friends. I knew she was the choice for me. A Dream Wedding (ADW) offers different levels of planning assistance and is there for you every step of the way. I chose day of coordination because I'm pretty organized and knew I'd be able to do most of the leg work with my personal schedule. ADW provided a checklist of everything I'd need to do; seriously step by step. ADW provides a list of suggested vendors. ADW has all of the information you might need for planning. The month before the big day Ashley meets with you to discuss your progress and go over all of the remaining tasks. She helps with all of the last minute questions and communicates with all of the vendors you've selected. Here, I should mention that our original date was shortly after the Lahaina fire. We decided to postpone until the following May since our wedding was scheduled on the west side of the island. Ashley worked with everyone to change our date and the process was seamless. On the day of, as promised, Amanda (Ashley's assistant) was the first vendor on site and the very last to leave. Upon my arrival, we discussed every last minute detail. I had read and heard all kinds of things about wedding days and the stress that comes with them. I'm telling you first hand, that didn't happen to me. None of it. I put all of my trust into the experts I'd hired and they made sure my day went off perfectly. Ashley and Amanda kept everything on track and handled any small things with their expertise without me even knowing (for example the dessert was late being delivered). Not only did I hire an amazing coordinator, I feel like I've gained a life long connection. Without any hesitation, I'd work with Ashley again.

Ashley and her team are absolutely the best in the business and created a wedding beyond our wildest dreams. She coordinated a multi-event, multicultural wedding for us with grace and ease. She was able to encapsulate all our visions into reality with very little guidance, since we are both busy professionals in California and could not visit Maui in the year leading up to the wedding nor spend a lot of time meeting with her online. She was able to quickly understand our personalities and tastes, and her recommendations for vendors were spot on. She accommodated many last-minute requests (her father even hand-delivered extra sparklers to the venue on our wedding day!). Although she is in high demand, she makes you feel that you are the absolute priority when you are working with her, and she genuinely cares about you and making sure you have the best experience.

I think where Ashley shines the brightest is her day-of coordination. Both our main events were executed flawlessly thanks to Ashley. Everything was paced perfectly, neither too slow nor too rushed. She was able to simultaneously blend into the background and be everywhere all at once. As my husband said, “I would start to have a thought that I needed something, and out of nowhere Ashley seemed to be right there with exactly what I needed.” She is absolutely professional but also warm, gentle, and caring. Our guests all remarked that she was such a pleasure to be around, and she handled any potentially stressful situation with a big smile on her face.

In terms of financials, she was incredibly reasonably priced compared to the other planners we spoke to before we found her. She was also very honest with us—she never tried to upsell us, instead making trips to Costco for better deals on beverages and helping us figure out which elements of the wedding were most impactful and which ones we could skip. She will help you accomplish the classiest wedding possible on whatever budget you have. We would not hesitate to hire Ashley again, and feel like she is part of our Maui family now!

Ashley was incredibly helpful! She helped plan the most magical day that we will remember forever! Despite our time difference she always found time to respond to my emails and questions! She is incredibly kind and would recommend to anyone and everyone! She is truly wonderful and took care of everything!!!

Ashley really helped us pull off our once elopement package, turned micro wedding, with about a months time! She helped us find a caterer, party rentals, and a venue, at the last minute. She negotiated with the venue to accommodate our full guest list and took possession of our flowers and shipped goods for us. We highly recommend Ashley and A Dream Wedding.
