What is your usual attire?

If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
Yes do our best to find the correct version of the requested song. We call the Bride & Groom and play the song over the phone to verify it is the correct version. If we can not locate the correct version, then the Bride & Groom bring the version they would like to be played.
 
How many other DJs do you work with?
We use 2 DJ's for Teen Events & School Parties
 
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
3 hour
 
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
YES
 
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
We personalize each event and work with each Bride & Groom to bring special music selections to their event.
 
Do you bring your own equipment?
YES
 
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
Dance Floor lights are included in the price. We now partner with C-It Video Entertainment who provides Video Projector & Screen for Personal Photo Album Entertainment during your event.
 
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
Set up time is about 45 minutes, but each event is different.
 
Do you have any extra space requirements?

Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
We can organize/Emcee each event from Start - End depending on the requests of the Bride & Groom with also working with all vendors.
 
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Our DJ's receive a meal if the event is 5+ hour long.
 
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
We always plan on fun music to continue to play throughout each event.
 
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
YES
 
What is your overtime rate?
DJ It Right has a standard hourly rate. No additional overtime charge.
 
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
NO extra charge for travel. This is included in your event price.

Tips and Advice
When selecting the correct Disc Jockey for your event, list the most important items that you are looking for. 
If you want mostly Country or Spanish type Music, select a Disc Jockey with a heavy selection and experience in that type of music.
Select a High Energy DJ who will Emcee your event from the start through the end, working along with all your vendors to bring you the best day they can,
or select another style of Disc Jockey who is more medium or low energy and plays music in the background with little or no interaction for your guests.
Take your time and ask good questions. Let your DJ know exactly what you are looking for. If your Disc Jockey is willing to listen to your extensive details before your event, they are most likely to listen and follow your details during your event also. DJ It Right, We Take FUN Seriously!!!
