Can you accommodate the hearing impaired?
Yes
Are you willing to perform a ceremony at a non-religious site?
Yes am willing to perform ceremony anywhere on the CT east of the CT River to Watch Hill and nearby RI.
Are you flexible in the wording used throughout the ceremony, including the vows?
Each ceremony is always a direct reflection of what the couple wants the world to know! ;)
Do you allow the couple to write their own vows, if desired?
If couples want to write their own vows...go to it. I say though with the hundreds of weddings I've done...why re-invent the wheel. Trust me. :)
Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose?
I give each couple a fully loaded ceremony that reflects what they want to say. Additionally...I've got so many readings...they'll go crazy trying to decide which one. :)
Do you require that premarital counseling be done?
No Premarital couseling.
Are you willing to perform pre-ceremony rehearsals?
Always willing and do conduct rehearsals if they are needed. It's a great time to get to know the families!!!
Additional Questions and Answers
Most important...CT is the easy state to get married in!!! :) And Mystic, CT is indeed a "Little Slice of Heaven". As for the license...15 mintues. No waiting period...no blood...no witness'. Simply give the town hall clerk $30 (add an extra $10 if you want a copy sent to you) fill out a form...they type it...make you proof it...and then you raise your right hand and swear that you're telling the truth. Bring either you licence or passport for verification.
Tips and Advice
OMG...there are a million tips and advice any couple can use to help them out. Honestly...this can actually be a totally fun time. With me...there is never, ever any reason to get upset...because I always have an alternative to help any situation. When you work in the industry full time (as oppose to when you do it as a hobby) you end up knowing everyone in the business and that pays off time after time. It's your added assurance that everything will go perfectly for you.
