Bailey Entertainment is owned and operated by Chris Bailey and serves the entire Central Coast.


I have lived on the Central Coast for most of my life and am centrally located in the Arroyo Grande area., with 16 years of experience as a disc jockey and master of ceremonies. My immense understanding of people, optimistic outlook and positive disposition help in creating a unique and exciting event. Each event is custom tailored to each customer’s needs and wants. Describe your DJ style:
I would like to describe my style as very relaxed. Very open to change and goin with the flow. However very capable of taking charge when needed. The wedding isn't about me, It's about you and your guests.
 
What is your usual attire?
Black slacks, shirt and tie.
 
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
If I am not able to get any music through my resources and the B & G have the song, I would ask if they could provide me with a copy.
 
How many other DJs do you work with?
I work alone.
 
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
5 hours
 
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
I like to meet with the Bride & Groom 2 to 4 weeks before the Wedding Day to finalize all of the details.
 
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes
 
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
I provide dance floor lighting to all of my weddings at no additional charge.
 
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
Set up time is about 30 minutes. I arrive an hour before start time. I bring my own table and black clothe.
 
Do you have any extra space requirements?
No
 
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
I will emcee all the events during the reception.
 
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Meals are appreciated.
 
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, I have great resources in the area that would be able to fill in.
 
What is your overtime rate?
$200 an hr. $100 for 1/2 hr.
 
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
No extra charge for traveling within an hr. of my office in Arroyo Grande.

Tips and Advice
When deciding on placement for a DJ at your reception. Be sure to place the DJ closest to the dance floor without the possibility of a table being placed between a speaker and the dance floor. Those guests will appreciate the consideration.
