Hello! My name is Steven and I would love to be your DJ!! I believe in providing a personalized experience where your music requests get played and my MC style matches the energy you want on your dance floor and at your wedding!
I want you to have the best night of your life and am obsessed with getting your details right! I have been a DJ/MC at over 150 events, have been in the wedding industry in the San Luis Obispo area for over 4 years, am currently a resident DJ at The Mark (in downtown San Luis Obispo), and won “Best DJ” at the 2023 Vibe After 5 DJ Battle!
The Experience:
I'm an open format DJ and an energetic MC. This means I'm comfortable seamlessly mixing a wide variety of genres, eras, artists, etc. and can read the room to keep the dance floor moving! As your MC, I will make sure your guests stay informed about what's going on throughout your wedding, I will hype up your guests for key moments such as your Grand Entrance and First Dance, and I will do this without being cheesy or overly talkative on the mic.
If you need any audio services at your Ceremony, this comes included and I'll use a separate sound system with wireless lapel microphones. This keeps photos clean (no mic stands) and allows for smooth transitions between different locations.
On the backend, I offer access to my music planner, which allows you to share your song selections, playlists, and more! I can work with any music that is publicly available (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.) and can even make custom edits!
Enhance Your Party!
While dance floor lighting comes included, there are so many ways I can add to your wedding's party and ambiance.
- Uplighting: The perfect way to set an ambiance in your Reception space and highlight the beauty of your venue! As a bonus, during dancing, my uplights can be synced with the music to create the ultimate party atmosphere!
- Handheld Fog Cannons: All around amazing fun! A handheld fog cannon (i.e. CO2 Cannon) can turn your dance floor into your personal club scene. You'll have the power to blast bursts of fog over your dance floor and take the party to all time highs!
- Dancing in the Clouds: The perfect way to enter your reception or make your First Dance extra memorable! Low lying fog will spread across your dance floor, creating a stunning scene!
