Hello! I'm Steven, the face, founder, and DJ behind On Rotation Events. I specialize in pairing the elegance of a wedding with the excitement of a club/bar. I want you to have the time of your lives with your friends and family, dancing to your favorite music!

As a DJ:

No matter the music, I love to mix! (And I do it all live!) Thanks to over 150 weddings of experience, my previous residency at Creeky Tiki (a local favorite bar in San Luis Obispo), and my current residency at The Mark (formerly Marston's and now the top club/bar in SLO), I know how to read a room. I can seamlessly switch between genres and eras, giving everyone a chance to hit the dance floor and keeping the party going!

I will work with you to make sure I play the songs you love, avoid songs you don't, and can moderate guest requests. Whether you give me specific requests, a playlist, or general preferences, I will use that to bring your dance floor to life.

As a MC:

I align my energy with your crowd and I use an interactive approach to get everyone's attention, to keep everyone in the know about the order of events, and to get everyone excited! I also minimize my time on the microphone, which keeps the spotlight on your wedding and avoids awkward or forced moments.

For Your Ceremony:

In addition to covering your Cocktail Hour and Reception, I can also provide coverage during your Ceremony. I use high quality wireless lapel microphones to pick up your officiant and personal vows (if you decide to exchange them). The only time a mic on a stand would be present is during any readings by friends/family members. This keeps photos clean and ensures there aren't any dropouts. For music, you get full control. I will always confirm ahead of time that I have the correct versions and any specific song timing noted.

A Complete Experience:

Basic dance floor lighting comes included! All my lighting can connect with and react to the music being played. This let's us take your party to a whole new level! With optional enhancements like uplighting and moving heads your venue can be transformed. I can bring a piece of the club to your dance floor, create a romantic, cozy ambiance for dinner, highlight your wedding design colors, and so much more!
