Avi Loren Fox Photography features the fine art and photojournalistic photography of sister-brother duo Avi and Nikolai Fox. From the planning stages to delivery, Avi and Nikolai tailor each package to meet the clients desires. They pride themselves in being professional, flexible, and easy to work with. Avi and Nikolai are based out of Philadelphia and the Main Line and are available for travel worldwide, including destination weddings.

Avi Loren Fox, Executive Director & Photographer

Avi developed her first photograph in a darkroom in second grade. Ever since, Avi has been fascinated with the camera’s ability to capture the powerful emotion contained in a single moment. Today, Avi creates powerful photographic archives that display the epic and comic nature of the human spirit and our great capacity to love. In particular, she enjoys working closely with her brides to document their wedding day in all of its emotional beauty. Avi finds inspiration in the raw beauty of the human experience and the idea of her clients looking back at their photographs when they are older. When Avi is not behind the camera, she teaches pilates, gardens with her backyard chickens, and enjoys life her wonderful family and friends.

Nikolai Fox, Artistic Director and Photographer

Nikolai developed his first photograph in a school darkroom at the age of 8. After graduating with a BA from College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor, Maine, Nikolai received a Full Fellowship Residency for Oil Painting at the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, Vermont. Nikolai has continued his studies at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art in painting and drawing. In 2002, Nikolai made his first film, "Music for the Sky," documenting a community of eccentric, revivalist, old-time fiddlers playing southern-style fiddle music in Vermont and Massachusetts. Nikolai's photographs have been published internationally and will be published in the literary magazine, The Sun. Nikolai resides in philadelphia where he works as a photographer and cinematographer.
