We always provide lighting that captures your mood, from elegant to fun, and professional announcing with superior sound. We have entertained receptions and events from The Venue to The Biltmore House, The Crest Center, Lake Lure Inn, Sky Retreat and Rumbling Bald to the resorts of the Carolina coasts. While other DJs are raising their rates, we have restructured ours to provide more options and reduce the entertainment costs to the couple. We oversee all introductions and setting the mood so that you and your guests enjoy themselves. We will make your special day a success, from the first detail to the last we will be there to help you plan and answer your questions! Highly recommend!

James did great at our wedding! He made sure everything ran on time and did a great job keeping our dance floor going. He played all the songs we wanted and read the crowd well. Highly recommend hiring him!

The perfect DJ for our wedding reception

James did an awesome job for our wedding reception! Through the whole process he was very prompt about answering emails and communicating with us. He did everything he could to play all the songs we really wanted played and kept everyone on the dance floor. The flow of music was spot on and the variety of songs he had available was great. Could not be happier with this company!

James was AWESOME! He took my many requests and helped make our wedding absolutely perfect. So many friends and family kept saying how great the music was. He blended the songs super well accommodated for the many music styles we requested. He was adaptable and great with directing the reception. Awesome awesome DJ and I’d highly recommend!

Mr. Herrick was so accommodating and easy to work with. My husband took care of hiring the DJ for our daughters wedding. We made sure our daughter let him know the type of music they wanted and the songs that were to be played during the ceremony. The rest was all Mr. Herrick. He was great with the announcements and the special dances. He kept the party going until the end! We highly recommend him for your DJ needs. Terry and Lisa Wilson

James was the DJ at our wedding in August, and he did a fabulous job. He played the songs we requested, ensured we had music for our ceremony outside of our reception venue, and stuck with us during a 30 minute power outage!

James was fantastic. He really listened to us and to the unique atmosphere we were trying to create. He fit seamlessly with the vibe of the wedding weekend from lighting to music and attitude. What we wanted was a welcoming, fun dance floor with people of all ages eager to get involved--James created that for us! People danced all night and we had a blast. He was so respectful of our requests and we couldn't have been more pleased. Highly recommended!!

James did a great job DJing my wedding! Everyone had a blast. He played appropriate songs that would get the younger crowd up to dance but also did not offend anyone else. His website is a little difficult to use but he was super flexible and had no problem getting our playlist from another source. Make sure to get him a detailed timeline ahead of time so you can discuss everything with him. I was difficult to get ahold of and he did a great job of not getting frustrated with me! Easy to work with.
