Young currently plays a variety of Western Michigan venues including the BOB, Ottawa
Tavern, convention centers, area coffee houses, festivals, retreats and private events. Her
band features the talents of Alan Applegate, David DeVos, Jim Dow and Wright McCargar.

Graceful Expressions Calligraphy and Fine Hand Lettering Design

The Amy Young Band was a hit for our wedding - they provided music during our dinner hour at the Prince Conference Center. We received so many compliments on their style - very smooth, relaxing, but it kept your attention at the same time. It was the perfect "in between" that we needed before we started the DJ music and dancing. The provided all of their own set-up and tear down, and went over a few songs - and I left the rest up to them. So easy and perfect! Amy and the rest of the band members are active members of my church, so I do know them well - anyone would be blessed to have such a talented and professional group as part of your event! That was one of the things early on in planning our wedding that we knew we wanted. Thank you so much Amy and Company for being a part of our wedding reception memories!

What style of music do you perform?
A variety of pop, rock, motown, country, blues and standards. A song list of covers performed can be found at www.amyyoung.net under the music link.
New songs are continually added and I am open to bridal requests.

Do you sing for ceremonies and receptions?
Yes. I typically sing solos accompanied by piano or guitar during the wedding ceremony and bring in either a full dance band or a jazz/standards trio for the reception. There are many options available to fit your event.
