Our Wedding Décor

Amore Events by Cody offers a unique collection of wedding décor, which sets us apart from our competitors. Free access to all these decorations and flourishes is offered to Amore Brides who book partial- or full-planning packages. We have spent countless hours researching and purchasing items and we are constantly adding to our collection. Most of our brides take advantage of this opportunity to further save time and money. For brides that book our Wedding Day Management Package, our décor is available for rent.

How the Decor Works

Amore Events staff will help you select items from our collection to tie into your aesthetic, vision and venue. With our vast experience at many Charlottesville-area venues, we’ll be able to make recommendations for décor and aesthetic to transform the location into the perfect space for your wedding.

On your wedding day, we will transport your selected items to the venue and handle all set-up and break-down of these items at no additional cost. Many brides believe that purchasing their own décor will save them money and they forget the fact that they then need to find someone to bring and set it all up, often relying on a parent or close friend. Let us handle everything. Between our competitive planning rates and access to our décor, you’ll be shocked by the money and stress you’ll save by booking with Amore Events by Cody.

Our inventory includes a bit of everything:

Glass Pieces: A variety of milk glass, mason jars, turn of the century glass medicine bottles, mercury glass votives, and blue glass lanterns…

Tabletop: Mismatched vintage plates, a 18” silver-plated cake stand, glass candlestick holders, a wine/champagne bucket, and preserved cedar wood slabs…

Signage: Mr.&Mrs. chair signs, wedding directionals, a “Weddings in Progress” wooden sign, chalkboards, frames, distressed wood table numbers, “Reserved” signs for tables or pews,and  wine bottle table numbers…

Boxes and Baskets: Wooden wine boxes, tool boxes, sewing desk drawers (great for silverware at buffets), and woven baskets…

Furniture: Three distressed wood farm tables, a distressed white wrought iron fence, garden hooks, two 19^th-century yellow chairs, a crystal chandelier, wooden doors and windows…

Lawn Games: Lawn games are available to rent for an additional cost. Delivery, set-up and break down included in rental fee. Our inventory includes 6 Corn Hole sets with bean bags, horse shoes, bocce ball and crochet.

About Your Planner

Cody Grannis is an award-winning, certified International Event and Wedding Professional (IEWP), holding certificates in Non-Profit Management and Meeting and Event Planning from the University of Virginia. She spent six years planning large-scale events at the University of Virginia before developing Amore Events by Cody. She is a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) and the Orange County Chamber of Commerce. Cody also employs a staff of planners and consultants who contribute to her team of event professionals.
