Amanda Hein started her own photography company in 2005 and since then has documented many special moments. A graduate of Drake University’s prestigious journalism school and a former staffer at Better Homes and Gardens magazine, Hein brings an editorial eye to her work and a relaxed, natural look to her images, resulting in a unique visual style that tells the story of your special day.
Hein specializes in weddings and natural kids portraits. Her work has been featured in Chicago Social Bride magazine, on BetterHomesAndGardens.com and on the walls of Chicagoland galleries. As an independent photographer, she enjoys working with her clients to create packages tailored to their individual needs and images that capture the details, mood, emotion and love that makes each of them special.
Finding beauty in the small things as well as the obvious is what Hein loves best. She finds new and interesting ways to feature the details that might otherwise go unnoticed – from the tears in dad’s eye as he walks you down the aisle, to the smile on your face when your fiancé makes a joke, to the light beaming through the windows as you say “I do.”
A newlywed herself, Hein understands the importance of finding a photographer you trust. For samples of her work, visit www.AmandaHein.com or her blog, http://blog.AmandaHein.com. Consultations are available by appointment and can be scheduled by e-mail (amanda@amandahein.com) or phone (312-480-9949).
