I have terrible handwriting and knew right away I would have my wedding invitations done by a professional. Instantly, I knew I had made the right choice in working with Alesia. When we met for the first time, she had written my name in calligraphy so I could find her in the crowded Panera. I remember thinking how wonderful that touch was and how special it made me feel, I couldnt wait for my guests to get their envelopes! Not only did she guide me through the whole invitation process but she also consulted me on things I had no idea about, like getting the envelopes weighed and to have them hand stamped. She even suggested stores and websites. I felt like more than a client and I trusted her completely. I dropped off all my envelopes and the turn around time was perfect. Never got any emails with excuses that something was going to be late or anything, it was done right when she said it would be done. I made a few spelling errors in the spreadsheet I gave Alesia so a few had to be redone, there was no "big sigh" from her, she did it, no problem and I got them 2 days later in the mail. The envelopes were a vibrant red and Alesia used gold writing to address them. They looked amazing, better than I ever could have imaged. When I went to handstamp, the woman at the post office went nuts. When people started to actually get the invitation, the compliments were coming in all over the place, everyone felt so special and said the calligraphy was tremendous. It really captured the essence of the wedding so perfectly. Alesia has been such a joy to work with, she made me feel so special (most of the time I feel like I am getting taken advantage of as the bride) but she did not do that. Alesia treated me like a friend and had a vested interest in the calligraphy and the success of our wedding. She also did the escort cards, table signs and other things for the wedding. Do the right thing and hire Alesia, you will NOT be sorry. And if you think you can not afford it, you are wrong, I am amazed at how reasonable the costs were!
