Jolene of Trellis Creative Co was the architect, gardener, coordinator extraordinaire, sage, and do-er responsible for helping us pull together and coordinate all of the moving parts of our wedding vision. We contacted Jolene about 3 months before our date after hitting a wall where we felt like we couldn't spin any more plates over our head. After one meeting, we were so impressed with Jolene's calm demeanor and clear grasp of the broader strokes and the nuances required to make a wedding happen, that we contracted with her right away. Over the next 3 months, Jolene took the time to meet with us beforehand for logistics conversations, to make sure she fully understood how we wanted to share our day with our guests, and who we were as a couple. Jolene is a phenomenal communicator, and we really felt heard, and that this was a partnership. Those conversations translated to us feeling more in calm control of the whole thing, and by extension less nervous and more ready to just enjoy the day. Jolene took on the role of being the point of contact for all of our vendors, and kept them appraised of any changes or details to our timeline, which again freed us up to be present and focus on getting ready for our parts. For our rehearsal, Jolene's assistant Cari was on site to help us get all of those moving parts in place. Cari was equally as helpful, resourceful, and wonderful when it came to getting all of the moving parts in concert. On our wedding day, Jolene & Cari were everywhere at once - helping coordinate all of our vendors, keeping guests where they needed to be, and generally being positive, effective, and critical boundary setters when it came to making sure everything went smoothly. Jolene and Cari were both advocates for our vision, which helped us both be so much more in the moment. Without them, the day would have been a hectic blur, and instead we got to savor the moment with the peace of mind that we had a solid team lead by Jolene making sure everything went smoothly.
