Q: Why are your prices so low?

Don’t let our name fool you! We are Affordable - not Cheap! If you’ve been surfing the net looking for a DJ you’ve probably noticed that we are one of the very few that list our prices. That’s because we have a different philosophy than most. Our goal is to provide the Best Entertainment at the Best Price anywhere! As a result we do not alter our pricing based on event date, venue, or geographical area. While it is true that quality entertainment may be the most important ingredient in planning a successful wedding reception, that shouldn’t mean that you need to break the bank to get it.

Q: Besides Price, Why should we choose Affordable Entertainment DJ’s?

1. We understand how important this day is to you and we will prepare for it as if it were our own Wedding.
2. Personalized Service - We will not book your date and forget you. We will be with you every step of the way to answer questions, offer suggestions, and help in any way that we can.
3. We are Professionals - From our Attire to our Equipment to our Performance, Attention to detail makes us the best. We know how to read a crowd, keep the music flowing, and keep your guests dancing!
4. The Music - Our digital sound systems feature top brand components including Yamaha, Fender, Crate, Pro Audio, Audio-Technica, Shure, Yorkville, and more. Our extensive music library is computer catalogued, making any song available virtually instantly .

Q: Is setup time included in your price?



You never have to pay for setup or takedown time. We typically arrive an hour prior to your scheduled start time and will be set up long before your first guest arrives. But it’s on our own time! The same applies for takedown time after your event.

Q: Can we have a Do Not Play List?

Our services are uninterrupted and non-stop. From our scheduled start time to our scheduled end time we will never stop the music. Much unlike bands that need to stop and rest, we can just keep playing straight through your event!

Q: Can we choose the music to be played at our event?

Absolutely! We’ve had customers that have chosen every song for the entire event and others that have left the music selection completely up to us. Our recommendation is to provide us with a list of "must play" songs and list of "play if possible" songs. This will leave plenty of room for requests from your guests and DJ selections. You may also stipulate that we not take requests from you guests. But have fun and select music you want to hear and dance to. After all, it’s your event!

Absolutely! Not everyone enjoys the same music, and while most guest lists include a variety of ages and tastes, there may be some songs or types of music that you absolutely do not want to hear.

Q: What if we want a song that you don’t have?



While our song music library encompasses thousands of hits from the 1940s to today, it’s possible that you may have a few requests that are not in our library. Our Event Music Planner form Includes space for unlimited requests. We will obtain all the music requested prior to your event.

Q; What about lighting?

Q: How loud do you play the music?

One of the most frequent complaints about bands and DJs alike is that they play the music too loudly. It doesn’t have to be that way! During cocktail and dinner hours the speakers will be strategically positioned for even sound coverage throughout the banquet room at a comfortable level. When it’s time to dance, the speakers will be repositioned for maximum sound coverage on the dance floor, and minimum sound exposure throughout the rest of the banquet room. This means that on the dance floor the music will be at a very comfortable, yet powerful enough level for dancing. Throughout the rest of the room, the music will be less predominant and your guests will actually be able to carry on a normal conversation without screaming!

All of our Wedding Packages include quality dance floor lighting. (lighting packages can be upgraded at your request)

Our level of interaction is determined by you - the client. Your vision of the type of atmosphere that you want to create will determine our level of interaction. From Elegant to Electric, we are experts at creating the desired mood!

Q: What about tipping?

By no means is tipping/gratuity mandatory or expected. We charge a professional rate for a professional service. If at the end of the night you feel that we have surpassed your expectations and you want to tip, we would accept it as the ultimate compliment. But you’re under no obligation to do so

 

Q: How early should we book?

We’ve taken bookings as early as 2 years in advance, and as late as 2 days. Generally speaking, 1 year to 6 months is most common.

Contact us via phone or email (see contact page) We offer a personal consultation to discuss your needs. Once we determine the appropriate package for you, we require a signed event agreement and a 50% deposit to hold your date.
