Chris was incredible. We hired him last minute because we weren’t sure if we’d need a DJ for our small wedding. He was easy to work with, calm and made me feel like I didn’t have to worry about it. He read the room in a way that helped everyone get up on the dance floor. He played songs for my nieces, took requests, and honored everything we had talked about. He truly made the night incredible. Our families and guests noted how great the music was and how it tied everything in the night together. Highly recommend Chris! He’s flexible, dependable and reasonably priced.

Chris was a wonderful DJ and MC! He is a highly energetic person and kept the energy high during the reception. He even let me rap during one of the songs (haha!). The kids at our wedding were dancing the whole time - our 2.5 year old nephew literally jumped up and down for two straight hours. We had so much fun at our wedding and are so happy with how much fun our families/friends had at our wedding!

We had Over the Top as our wedding DJ on LBI, NJ. Chris and his assistant did an amazing job getting everyone on the dance floor early and keeping the party going all night!! The lighting recommendations that were made were also perfect for the venue. The night flowed seamlessly, we did not have to worry about anything as Chris and his team worked with our other vendors all night to make sure everything was just perfect!!

Everyone was dancing pretty much the whole night. He knew exactly what to play for everyone to be having a wonderful time. I would tell anyone to hire Over the Top and request for Josh to be their MC!

We used Over the Top for both our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at our spring wedding. Chris did an absolutely amazing job at our spring wedding! He was very easy to work with, very professional, and everything went flawlessly. Our guests were very happy and dancing all night long, and we got a ton of compliments from guests on everything. He did a great job of fitting in the few songs we requested, reading the crowd, playing what got everybody dancing, and keeping the party going. Honestly, I think his price is very reasonable, but it was absolutely more than worth it for his level of professionalism and execution. Very satisfied customer!

I first met Chris at a Bridal Show at the Smithville Inn. You can tell by first impression that he is passionate about what he does. After the bridal show, Chris drove over an hour to meet my then fiancée and I at our house. He kindly explained to us all that he could offer, and took time to get to know our interests and what we were looking for in a DJ. I explained that despite their name, I didn’t actually want an “over the top” DJ. I simply wanted someone who could keep the energy going and play music that appealed to all of our guests. We knew right away that he was a match for us and we booked him on the spot! We got married on November 25th at the Smithville Inn. Chris and his associate knocked it out of the park! They executed all of our requests with ease, were organized and professional in dealing with our bridal party, and most importantly, kept the party going and the dance floor hopping! We trusted Chris to play music that would keep our guests dancing and he did not disappoint! He incorporated the perfect blend of old and new, fast and slow, and took requests throughout the night. Many of our guests commented on how it was the most fun wedding they have ever been to, and we owe Chris a lot of credit for that! We would recommend Over the Top Entertainment to any bride and groom looking for a wedding DJ! He not only met our expectations, but also exceeded them!
