Chris was incredible. We hired him last minute because we weren’t sure if we’d need a DJ for our small wedding. He was easy to work with, calm and made me feel like I didn’t have to worry about it. He read the room in a way that helped everyone get up on the dance floor. He played songs for my nieces, took requests, and honored everything we had talked about. He truly made the night incredible. Our families and guests noted how great the music was and how it tied everything in the night together. Highly recommend Chris! He’s flexible, dependable and reasonably priced.

High Energy MC & DJ

Chris was a wonderful DJ and MC! He is a highly energetic person and kept the energy high during the reception. He even let me rap during one of the songs (haha!). The kids at our wedding were dancing the whole time - our 2.5 year old nephew literally jumped up and down for two straight hours. We had so much fun at our wedding and are so happy with how much fun our families/friends had at our wedding!

I’ve worked with Chris and his team in the past (used to be a wedding photog). Chris was always professional, thorough, and a great MC. Delivered on my wedding day as well! Loved the mix of music and everything went super smooth.

Excellent DJs

Chris did a fantastic job and we are so glad we hired him for our wedding! He was very personable, and did a great job of sitting down with us and asking what we wanted for our wedding. He made sure our must-play songs were covered and kept our dance floor full all night. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

Highly Recommend!!!

We had Over the Top as our wedding DJ on LBI, NJ. Chris and his assistant did an amazing job getting everyone on the dance floor early and keeping the party going all night!! The lighting recommendations that were made were also perfect for the venue. The night flowed seamlessly, we did not have to worry about anything as Chris and his team worked with our other vendors all night to make sure everything was just perfect!!

Josh is the best

Everyone was dancing pretty much the whole night. He knew exactly what to play for everyone to be having a wonderful time. I would tell anyone to hire Over the Top and request for Josh to be their MC!

We used Over the Top for both our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at our spring wedding. Chris did an absolutely amazing job at our spring wedding! He was very easy to work with, very professional, and everything went flawlessly. Our guests were very happy and dancing all night long, and we got a ton of compliments from guests on everything. He did a great job of fitting in the few songs we requested, reading the crowd, playing what got everybody dancing, and keeping the party going. Honestly, I think his price is very reasonable, but it was absolutely more than worth it for his level of professionalism and execution. Very satisfied customer!

I first met Chris at a Bridal Show at the Smithville Inn. You can tell by first impression that he is passionate about what he does. After the bridal show, Chris drove over an hour to meet my then fiancée and I at our house. He kindly explained to us all that he could offer, and took time to get to know our interests and what we were looking for in a DJ. I explained that despite their name, I didn’t actually want an “over the top” DJ. I simply wanted someone who could keep the energy going and play music that appealed to all of our guests. We knew right away that he was a match for us and we booked him on the spot! We got married on November 25th at the Smithville Inn. Chris and his associate knocked it out of the park! They executed all of our requests with ease, were organized and professional in dealing with our bridal party, and most importantly, kept the party going and the dance floor hopping! We trusted Chris to play music that would keep our guests dancing and he did not disappoint! He incorporated the perfect blend of old and new, fast and slow, and took requests throughout the night. Many of our guests commented on how it was the most fun wedding they have ever been to, and we owe Chris a lot of credit for that! We would recommend Over the Top Entertainment to any bride and groom looking for a wedding DJ! He not only met our expectations, but also exceeded them!

Our experience with Over the Top Entertainment was top notch. Our DJ, Chris was amazing! His expertise helped make the wedding flow from ceremony to cocktail hour, meal, and reception. His energy was contagious, and his music knowledge was out of this world!

Chris Vito was aces from start to finish!
I knew when he showed up that he was organized, professional, and knowledgeable, and that he would be able to relate perfectly to my wedding guests.
He gave us a great list of songs to choose from for our signature list, he gave us a template to help us keep track of the evening's flow, he made sure our "must play" list was covered, and he mixed in a couple of medleys (per my request to keep the party going) based around our other recommendations.
A couple of bonuses that we really appreciated were when he set us aside to publicly comment on how luck we were to find each other and when we asked him to coach my cousin's 12-year-old ham on how to introduce the cake-cutting ceremony.
Also, his set-up was perfect for the 300-person ballroom and his assistant is as responsive and professional as he is.

Over the Top went over and beyond for our September 24th wedding. The attention to detail was far beyond our expectations. Chris made sure everything was perfect! Chris was a joy to work with during every step of the process and continues to make sure our needs are met. I would highly recommend his services. Chris was awesome to work with! He is very flexible especially when setting up an initial meeting and went out of his way to meet up with me when I was going to be in the area. Chris was our DJ for our wedding on Nov. 20 and he hit it out of the park. Our guests were on the dance floor the whole time and had a blast. We also added lighting with him which completely transformed the room. Thanks, Chris!

Chris was a fantastic DJ and very helpful in planning the music. He drove to our house over an hour away and spent the time going over all the details that made our wedding even better. Anything we asked for he made it happen. He did a great job getting the dance floor hopping and everyone said multiple times how much fun they had because he played great music. Our wedding was on a Sunday night and by looking at the dance floor you would have never known. We highly recommend using Chris, he is a great guy and also a great bargain. Music is such an important part of ones wedding and Chris made ours very special. We can't thank him enough!

Was Chris was a true professional right from the start! He met us is OUR home and made use feel at ease with his demeanor and confidence. We went to a wedding expo to compare, but there was no comparison! Chris was our type of DJ. If you want a DJ that knows how to run a wedding and keeps everyone on the dance floor...Over the Top is the choice. He played everything we asked and read the crowd to keep the party going. If I could give more than 5/5 I would. This company goes above and beyond and is an excellent value. Very responsive and thorough. We had issues with a photobooth company we previously booked and Chris went our of his way to bring his photo booth in for our guests. Overall this is an awesome company, Definitely recommend.

Over the top was everything and more!!
They provided not only the Dj services, but uplighting, a light design for our names, photobooth, and tv's. From our first meeting Chris put us at ease, and we knew he would going to be excellent! Our guests talked about how great the music was and how he kept everyone on the dance floor!
I would highly recommend him! He was amazing and definately made our day even better with his excellemt MC services!!

If you want your wedding guests to be on the dance floor having fun all night, this is the DJ for you. They work with your venue coordinating the timing of everything. We were always informed of what we were doing next i.e. first dance, cutting the cake, throwing the bouquet, etc. The music was perfect, the DJ spoke clearly and loudly so everyone could here him. If a guest wanted to speak or sing using his microphone, he cleared it with us first to make sure we were ok with that. He clearly went over everything a few days before the reception so everything would go smoothly. He even worked around me (the bride) having a broken foot. I have to say everything went as planned. A job exceedingly well done!

My husband (fiance at the time) searched a number of different DJ's in the area. Let me tell you, there were some real bad ones out there that shouldn't be in the industry. However, when we found Over The Top Entertainment, the attention to detail, the professionalism, and being there to help every step of the way made it really easy and seemless to work with them. Being a Bride to Be, this was a blessing for sure! The service was amazing. They went above and beyond for our wedding making it more special and memorable than you can imagine. I would recommend this company to everyone for any DJ service you need. Truly Amazing!

I was so pleased with our DJ Mike! He was soooo awesome! He played every song we requested and entertained us as well. He joined us on the dance floor and made sure everyone had a great time. I didn't have much time to plan for my parents' 40th vow renewal/ anniversary reception, and Chris was so helpful and made sure he could accomodate me. Chris is so professional and attentive to every request; I would use him and his services again and again. I highly recommend Over the Top Entertainment!!!!!!

I love Chris and his crew! He and his crew did a super fabulous job. I used him for DJ, photo booth, uplighting, dance floor monogram, and a photo booth scrap book. Every aspect of his business was flawless and professional. He made my wedding reception! He blew the roof off and all my guests had an amazing time! We even did an encore.. and he hooked us up! I initially e-mailed DJ Chris back in January 2013 and he called my back within 24 hours, even though it was a weekend and he had an event later that day. He was very flexible about setting up a late night meeting and driving up to where I live in Lacey Township from Little Egg Harbor. He was also very flexible when I had to reschedule at the last minute because of a family funeral. When we did have the meeting, he was very friendly and professional and something about him just clicked. I knew before we sat down to discuss details that we would be hiring him for our reception.
His deal included the cocktail hour and the dinner, which was more than other DJs that I had interviewed. And when it got closer to the date, he called and we got together; he helped my then-fiancée and I work through some details we didn't think of, and not just songs and entertainment, but timing of the dinner as well.
At the reception, Chris made sure that everything ran smoothly during the introductions and the dinner (the bridal party had a private cocktail hour, but I'm guessing that things ran smoothly then as well). When I had a special dance with my stepfather, he gave us a gave minute warning so that we were in place. The entire time the music played, people were up and on the dance floor having a good time. We did a few group songs (Cupid Shuffle, Electric Slide), he played all the songs we had to have and his twist on the garter toss was awesome! I know that when guests requested songs, he gave them a warning so that the requests were not missed.
Overall, I had a great time talking and dancing and if I had to do it all over again, I would still picked DJ Chris and Over the Top Entertainment.

OMG Chris and his staff did an amazing job, loved, loved, loved, his work. Chris with his friendliness, enthusiastic, and energetic personality he kept all our guests on the dance floor all night long, what a joy!!! We used his services for the ceremony, cocktail hour, up lighting, reception, and photo booth. Chris came up to us during the reception to make sure we were satisfied with the services he was providing. Chris's professionalism did not go unnoticed, our guests asked where we found him ( bridal show Running Deer Golf Club).There is no one I would recommend more. Having all the services provided wrapped into one was fabulous. We never felt stressed at any point about the services he would be providing. Chris was always there to reassure us from every question to every request. We opted for the photo booth over junk favors that guests usually throw away anyway. Let me tell you everyone from every age group enjoyed it... When we got home and seen all the pictures and it reinforced what a great time everyone had. Way to go Chris you get a A++. Not being from the area (we live in MI), it was a bit intimidating to find a professional, reliable DJ in the NJ area. I had made a least a dozen phone calls and met with 2 other DJs in person before meeting with Chris with Over the Top Entertainment. Chris immediately made me feel comfortable, and his experience with wedding receptions really comes through. I felt like this was someone who was really going to put forth an effort to ensure the success of our event. He proved this to me by listening to my ideas, and suggesting some of his own based on his experiences.

We hired Chris as DJ and MC for our wedding reception. We had also rented a photo booth from him. Chris delivered everything that he promised and more. What made the event a success (with lots of positive feedback specifically about Chris from my guests) is that Chris knew how to read the crowd. Both the younger guests and the older guests at our wedding stayed for the entire reception, and at no point was the night slow for the younger guests, nor too wild for the older guests. Chris was very professional to my guests, and made sure that the 4 speakers were ready before they gave their toasts. In short, my wife and I had a more relaxed night, knowing that Chris was taking care of things in the background. Oh, and the photobooth was a huge success! The album was full before the end of the night.

Most of all, Chris was a pleasure to communicate with in the weeks before the wedding. I met with him twice in person to go over details, and exchanged many emails with him regarding song selections, setting up my slideshow, etc.

I give my highest recommendations for Chris at Over the Top Entertainment!

We loved our DJ!! Chris was so accommodating and came to out house to meet us to discuss details since we did not live in the area. The music was terrific the wedding night and Matt, our DJ, was so unbelievable. All of our guests commented on how wonderful the DJ was. Thank YOU!!

We used "Over the Top Entertainment" for our April Wedding. I met Chris at a Bridal Show and instantly liked his personality and professionalism. Once my finace met him we knew he was the right guy for the job. We didn't really know what kind of music we wanted for our ceremony or even our first dance, but Chris sat with us for hours a few weeks before the wedding having us listen to songs and finally we came up with our music. We also had the expandable photo booth at our reception! Everyone had such a good time with that. At the end of the evening we received a scrapbook with the photos from the booth and messages from our friends and family. Chris provided us with the peace of mind that our reception would be amazing! He captivated the audience and provided such a great mix of music that everyone could enjoy from our 8 year old nephew to our 89 year old grandma! Thanks Chris for giving us an amazing night to remember!

Over the Top Entertainment provided the DJ, MC, reception room up lighting and photo booth services for our wedding in May 2012 at Nicolosi Catering in West Deptford, NJ. Their enthusiasm, professionalism and ability to get everyone attending the event involved sold us on their services. Chris Vito catered to our needs, which included driving 1.5 hours to meet with us on two occasions during the planning process. They did a wonderful job at our wedding in all areas.

The owner, Chris Vito, was the actual emcee for our event and he was truly amazing! Chris created unique reception opening bio-sketches for our entire bridal party which also added a unique and memorable touch to our bridal party reception entrance!

Over the Top Entertainment played all of the music that we desired and displayed energy throughout the evening. Chris' enthusiasm during the reception was contagious and contributed to the overall enjoyment of all wedding guests. Our wedding guests love to dance, but having an emcee who was having just as much fun as the guests contributed to the event. All of our wedding guests enjoyed the photo booth as well. While we knew that we would receive copies of all of the photo booth pictures taken during our event. The photo booth picture book was put together in such a beautiful, creative and detailed manner that it left us speechless. Receiving the photo both picture book the same evening of our wedding added to the special touch delivery of services from Over the Top Entertainment. I highly recommend Over the Top Entertainment!

I rented the photo booth for mour wedding from Over the Top Entertainment and it was wonderful! Everyone loved the fun of the photo booth, and this one has a much "classier" look than I've seen at other weddings. Also, Chris Vito has a great personality and kept things fun, even when the guests were in line waiting for their pictures. The album he put together from the pictures was eonderful, and I got it the night of the wedding. We didn't have to wait for it, like you do the traditional photos or the videos. it's a wonderful keepsakes from the wedding. I highly recommend this vendor!

Chris and Over the Top Entertainment did a wonderful job at our wedding. He was very professional and attentive to our needs, including driving and hour and a half to meet with us.
The music Chris played was great, there was not a moment when the dance floor wasn't packed!
I highly recommend allowing Chris to use his lighting, our venue looked awesome and people were complimenting the look of the room all night. We also had our names lit on the floor which I was skeptical about at first but ended up looking really classy and elegant. The GOBO of our names is ours to take as a great souvenir of the night. I would recommend Over the Top to anyone looking to have a fun and energetic wedding.

We had gone to a bridal fair, and Over the Top Entertainment had emceed the event. Their enthusiasm, professionalism and ability to get everyone attending the event involved sold us on their services. The owner Chris Vito spoke with us directly both at the bridal fair and during our wedding planning process and helped us to plan our perfect reception. We contracted with them for several different services, including entertaiment which included a professional master of ceremonies and DJ. The uplighting, custom monogram for the dance floor, video package, our ceremony and the photo booth. Chris met with us twice before the wedding, our initial meeting to decide on our packages and prior to the wedding to go over all details of our day. Unfortunately, he was unavailable to actually emcee our day but he ensured us that his staff would accomodate our every need and provide us with a wedding to remember. He made master list of everything we could need for the day to make it perfect, he even phonetically spelled the names of everyone being introduced to ensure every name was pronounced correctly. We were not the traditional bride and groom, and he accomodated our every request. On our wedding day, the staff form Over the Top Entertaiment were phenomenal, they were prepared, professional and respected our wishes throughout our day. Our emcee was awesome, he kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night! The uplighting was absolutely gorgeous, everyone loved the live simulating and spot photography (who does not like to see themselves on TV?). Everyone also loved the photobooth, and I must say I was really surprised at the detail put into the album given to us at the end of the night that held copies of every photo booth picture taken. I was just expecting an album with pictures, every page was beautifully crafted and everyone that had their picture taken had the opportunity to write messages of love. It was so much more than what I had expected. From the moment the music played as our guests arrived to the very last song of the night, Over the Top Entertainment gave us the unforgettable wedding we always wanted and for that we are grateful. Thank you to Chris, Mike, Tommy, Rocky, Kelly and Michael for memories that will last us a lifetime.

We hired them just for the Photo booth because we already had a DJ but I would have hired them for both if I didn't. We got the scrap book immediately after the wedding & it was the nicest I've seen so far. We had such a great time with Chris & the photo booth & would highly recommend hiring them for your wedding or any other event! If we need them anytime in the future they are first on my list :)

Chris is an absolutely wonderful person to work with and a great DJ/Emcee! From the first meeting to the last, we knew he'd be the perfect DJ for us! He knows how to get people to dance without being pushy! We loved his energy and excitement about making our wedding exactly what we wanted - a great party. He succeeded. When I heard him mention it was the last song, I thought it couldn't possibly be! He had us dancing ALL night long and we hadn't even realized the time was flying by!

Over the Top Entertainment also provided us with a photobooth. It was a BIG BIG BIG hit! He has the best photobooth around at the best price (trust me, I researched it!!!!) The scrapbook that was made of the doubles of the photo strips was absolutely beautiful! We have looked at it a dozen times and we've only been married for two days!!

While we had an acoustic guitarist for our outdoor ceremony and didn't need DJ services, we had Chris provide the sound reinforcement for this so everyone involved could hear what was going on. This was done perfectly without any issues at a great price! It truly made the ceremony that much better for everyone watching (and listening!).

Great prices, great personalities, great work ethic! We couldn't have asked for anything else! Thank you so much.

I owe my whole wedding to Chris Vito. When there was trouble in the kitchen and food was taking forever to come out, Chris took it in to his own hands and turned the whole wedding around. With his great timing skills, he got everyone on the dance floor and kept them there the whole night! Friends that are now getting married are asking me for his information because they want him for their weddings. He takes great pride in the details as well. I would recommend him to any bride!!

We used Over the Top for our Photobooth and it was a huge hit at our wedding. We have an amazing scrapbook that was put together at our wedding by Dawn. Dawn was helpful and made sure all of our guests enjoyed the photobooth.

The photobooth is a boardwalk style booth, so much fun!

Chris Vito (Over The Top Entertainment) was by far the best DJ! He went above & beyond to sit down with us before our big day & help us stay organized & make it special. His unique way of letting brides & grooms make a 'play' & 'do not play' list made our reception more personal & fun! Their price was very reasonable & he followed through with all promises. Chris is more than a DJ, he is an entertainer & also a host for your wedding night!

Chris Vito from Over The Top was just awesome! We opted to get the Photo Booth as well and it was a major hit! My guest just loved it! The music was great too, they played just want we wanted and even though we had some "non-dancers" Chris kept things going and did his best to motivate everyone!
I would recommend Chis to anyone!

The owner of Over the Top, Chris Vito, was the working DJ at our event, and his music and emcee talents made it a party to remember! We already had a lovely venue with great food; his personality offered just the right combination of fun and entertainment to really liven up an already nice time so that it was a truly special, memorable time for all of our guests. Chris' timing and humor was ideal so that he enhanced the party without taking it over. He made all the difference by turning what would've been a good party into a truly great one!! I highly recommend him!

Over the top entertainment was the best. I could not have done it without them. Chris was wonderful. He mc'd the whole thing from ceremony to reception. Our wedding was outside/inside no church. Did not have a clue where to start an entrance where to end up. So nervous. Over the top provided direction, patient and the best music. Props were fun too. Guests wanted him to stay longer everyone had such a great time. Definately recommend one hundred times over.

over the top entertainment (chris vito) is one of the best djs ive heard. chris goes out of his way to make sure your wedding is everything you want it to be and he will do whatever it takes on his end to make it that way. i worked as a cook for a long time and did my share of weddings . chris is one of the best and of the most resonable on price. he takes his job to heart so your not just a wedding to him. i can give this comany 5 stars with out a doubt. you will not regret having this company on your side.

Over the Top Entertainment was recommended to me by a coworker/friend who had just used them for their wedding. When we tried contacting 3 other DJs and got no response, we went for it and set up a meeting. Chris drove from NJ to Philadelphia to meet with us to discuss things. He was wonderful! He's fun, energetic, full of energy, friendly, and so easy to work with. Contacting him at times was not the easiest, but when things got closer he was great at returning calls, emails, etc. He made our reception so much fun! He delivers his promises for certain! He is on the dance floor interacting and having fun. He makes sure the timing of things goes according to plan, and helps out along the way to make sure things flow and everyone knows what is going on. We also booked a photobooth and everyone loved it! His wife even helps put together a little scrapbook that she puts photos in and has guests sign to use as a little guest book. We LOVE looking at it and reminiscing how much fun the night was. The price was really reasonable for the services we got and he is wonderful to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone!

Chris from Over the Top Entertainment was THE BEST! Honestly, I was hesitant about using a DJ - but this was certainly the right decision. He came up to our home ( a good 2 hrs) on multiple occasions which was very helpful during the planning process since we were quite busy.
He was very easy to work with as well. I just sent along a song list and he took it from there meshing everyone's music preferences to a T.

The dance floor was packed ALL NIGHT and received multiple messages about how much fun the wedding was and how surprised they were that everyone was dancing all night long.

Couldn't have asked for a better night !

We used Over the Top Entertainment for uplighting for our wedding reception which was held at the Sheraton in Atlantic City. We had a great experience in working with this vendor and I would highly recommend them for uplighting services. They have the lowest prices in the area (from my searches) and offer great product. The color of the lighting turned out exactly as I had wanted and the room looked fantastic. Do not hesitate to work with this vendor if you are in need of lighting for an event, you will not be disappointed!

We were so impressed! After receiving a spam email we decided to meet with Chris although his distant location made us nervous. He was extremely accommodating. Even though he was from the shore area he made numerous visits to us in Cherry Hill. He even visited our venue, in Philadelphia the week before the wedding with us and spent two hours reviewing everything from music, to where we would have the photo booth, how we would arrange the room for our first dance. The guest loved the photo booth! We loved the scrapbook they provided IMMEDIATELY after the even was over! The families were super impressed by the amount of people ALWAYS on the dance floor. Our friends had a fabulous time! Chris and the DJ, Greg, had tremendous amounts of energy! They really kept the party going.

We got lights from Over the Top and they were very flexible with accommodating our price range. We booked them last minute for our wedding and they were more than generous enough to try and work with us. The lights were beautiful and the service was quick and easy! We can always appreciate that.

The disc jockey over the top gave us was very vibrant & fun ! He even got on the dance floor & started to dance with us ! He was great.

We found the Photobooth and Chris at a local Bridal Show. Not being from around the area, nor knowing local vendors I jumped at the chance to book the photobooth with him. I had tested the product at the show and knew what we would be getting - and was not disappointed there. He also allowed for me to send in a jpeg of a logo that we wanted at the bottom of the strip which turned out fantastic. The staff that worked our wedding at the booth were also very pleasant and wonderful attendants! I was, however, disappointed in the props. This was something he promised at the show and when we talked on two separate occasions I requested that there be mustaches and large sunglasses. Being an event planner myself, I went ahead and prepared/organized a few items I had leftover and made a few props. I also went out and purchased sunglasses prior to the wedding for my bridal party to wear on their entrance into the reception. I'm glad I did so as the props provided were fairly minimal with no sunglasses or mustaches to be found. I know this is very little - but I was just upset at the fact I had requested this more than once...and I could have provided them if they were not able to!
