Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
We offer black and white, sepia, and other "paper toning" options at no additional charge!
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
We have and will photograph in all types of lighting situations. For formals in a church or other indoor setting, we also have professional lighting equipment that we use.
Is your media preference film or digital?
We photograph with digital media.
How many photographers do you work with?
We are a "couple" team. What's awesome about this is we know how the other photographs and our styles compliment each other.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
YES, definitely!
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
Never more than one a day, but occasionally when we're feeling "crazy" more than one a weekend. :)
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, we have several on back-up, but have never had to use this option.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
In addition to bringing all the equipment we need to shoot, we also bring professional lighting equipment.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Of course! We have double (or more!) of everything!
Do you charge hourly or full day?
We can do both, but prefer the full day.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Honestly, if you're going to need overtime, just go for a full day package, it's more economical! :)
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Because there are two of us at every wedding, breaks are easy. One of will remain to photograph through most of the entire wedding.
Do you charge for travel?
Our packages allow for 100 miles round trip from Holland. Locations above and beyond are 30 cents per mile.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
We go through every proof and touch it up to make sure it's the best possible. Due to this, it generally takes 4-6 weeks for proofs to be ready to view.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
We offer our proofs in two different formats-- we will give you a CD with the low res files of the proofs on it. We will also (free of charge) put your proofs online for viewing and ordering. This online gallery will remain active indefinitely.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
The CD is yours to keep!
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
We offer high res CD's for sale that gives the client a copyright release to make their own prints.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes, you may also purchase prints from the online gallery/
What kind of albums do you offer?
We have a beautiful leather hard bound coffee table book that is extremely popular. We also offer parents albums.
When will the client get the final album?
Books usually take several weeks after ordering to arrive.
