Describe your DJ style:
As the largest DJ Entertainment Company in the State we have varying styles
What is your usual attire?
Tuxedo Attire, Tux pants, Tux Shirt Cumber Bunn and Bow Tie.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
No we can get it through one of our subscription services
How many other DJs do you work with?
We have 22 employee dj's we do not sub contract when we over book we refer to other companies like Kick It but we do not sub out. Our 22 Employee DJs are all 1cdj certified and use company maintained equipment
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
3 hours
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
If the bride is able to come to our Triad OFFICES/Warehouse they can certainly meet with us. We can also make arrangements to meet them in Durham or Charlotte when we have wedding meetings. They will meet with one of the management team and our wedding entertainment coordinator
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
We have jewish djs on staff including the owner which can do a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony, and reception and of course Bar & Bat Mitzvahs we also have some spanish speaking djs
Do you bring your own equipment?
Of course all of our equipment is by Pioneer, Rane, Denon, JBL, Yamaha and Numark
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
Lights are included we have bubbles, Fog, snow projectors and danceloors
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
1 hour or less. The table needs to be provided by the catering staff or venue unless you let us know in advance and it needs to be 10' from power.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
just that we are within 10' from power
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
All of our packages include unlimited Emcee services for as many or as few formalities as they'd like
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
We do require that we are in the headcount but we eat in discreetly behind the dj table/facade.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
see above. We have a real live dj cover breaks
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes 3 teams are rotated off and on stand by. Every event comes with a DJ and a DJ's assistant which is in fact another DJ so if your DJ falls ill the assistant steps in and we move another assistant over.
What is your overtime rate?
$75 per hour paid directly to the dj who earned it
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
No not at all never have and hopefully never will
