Are you packing for a wedding weekend and need some help figuring out what you’ll need to bring? Being a groomsmen can be a hefty job, therefore you’ll want to make sure you don’t forget any major items for the big day! In order to stay on top of your game, we’ve created a packing checklist just for you!

Clothes

  • Suit or tuxedo (depending on the wedding’s dress code)
  • Dress shirt
  • Undershirt and underwear (bring extras!)
  • Dress socks (you’ll also want to bring a change of socks for backup)
  • Rehearsal dinner attire (check the invitation, find out the dress code, and pack accordingly)
  • Change of clothes for once you are back at the hotel
  • Sweater or jacket in case it gets cold at the after party
  • Pajamas

Toiletries

  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Shampoo
  • Shaving cream
  • Razor and tweezers
  • Deodorant
  • Face wash
  • Soap
  • Dental floss
  • Cologne

Accessories

  • Rehearsal dinner shoes
  • Wedding-day shoes
  • Pocket square if needed
  • Belt
  • Necktie or bow tie (You’ll also want to make sure to pack an extra necktie just in case you need a backup)

Emergency Kit

  • Mints or breath spray
  • Pain reliever (it’s always a good idea to bring along some kind of pain reliever in case anyone had a little too much to drink at the rehearsal dinner)
  • Lint roller
  • Any medication
  • Band-aids

Extras

  • Phone/device charger(s)
  • Wallet with credit cards, ID, etc. (you’ll most likely end up at an after party after the reception, so bring along your wallet for any extra expenses)
  • Contact lenses or eyeglasses
  • Water bottle
