Are you packing for a wedding weekend and need some help figuring out what you’ll need to bring? Being a groomsmen can be a hefty job, therefore you’ll want to make sure you don’t forget any major items for the big day! In order to stay on top of your game, we’ve created a packing checklist just for you!
Clothes
- Suit or tuxedo (depending on the wedding’s dress code)
- Dress shirt
- Undershirt and underwear (bring extras!)
- Dress socks (you’ll also want to bring a change of socks for backup)
- Rehearsal dinner attire (check the invitation, find out the dress code, and pack accordingly)
- Change of clothes for once you are back at the hotel
- Sweater or jacket in case it gets cold at the after party
- Pajamas
Toiletries
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Shampoo
- Shaving cream
- Razor and tweezers
- Deodorant
- Face wash
- Soap
- Dental floss
- Cologne
Accessories
- Rehearsal dinner shoes
- Wedding-day shoes
- Pocket square if needed
- Belt
- Necktie or bow tie (You’ll also want to make sure to pack an extra necktie just in case you need a backup)
Emergency Kit
- Mints or breath spray
- Pain reliever (it’s always a good idea to bring along some kind of pain reliever in case anyone had a little too much to drink at the rehearsal dinner)
- Lint roller
- Any medication
- Band-aids
Extras
- Phone/device charger(s)
- Wallet with credit cards, ID, etc. (you’ll most likely end up at an after party after the reception, so bring along your wallet for any extra expenses)
- Contact lenses or eyeglasses
- Water bottle
