Anonymous, on March 18, 2012 at 12:52 AM Posted in Community Conversations 0 40

Let's give them what they want ladies! A big wet one! Has anyone been practicing the kiss??? This to me is the highlight of the wedding, everyone wants to see the kiss. Walking down the aisle and the kiss is what is making me nervous... Am i alone?

Sorry, sorry, sorry! I was just thinking how i use to be at weddings lol everytime the pastor is about to announce the bride and groom the kids move up and the cameras come out. In some cases they even ask for a redo kiss if their not satisfied. Im just saying....

We practiced for sure. I wanted to be sure that we had the same ideas in mind when it came to our first kiss! We practiced everything more than once, I didn't want any mishaps!

And speaking of kissing, this reminds me of our reception, all of our guests kept tapping on the glasses so we ended up kissing most of the night in front of anyone anyways! They love doing that right when you take a bite of your food so you have to kiss with food on your lips....it gets annoying after awhile and your lips get so chapped at the end of the night and your cheeks feel like they are going to fall off from smiling!

I honestly am nt nervous yet, but I probably should be. Haha. We never kiss in front of anyone, so kissing in front of 200 people with all eyes on us is going to be weird! We have practiced, but all we ever manage to do is a small peck. Haha

Its funny I thought about this... but we never practiced... and when the moment came, we just kissed, and DH held the kiss for longer than usual. He said later he did that cuz he wanted to make sure the photographers got a pic (he was thinking of that kind of thing all day!)...

But looking back, it looks a little awkward...

So I think its a good idea to practice, and maybe have someone take a pic of you when you do it Smiley tongue

I'm not nervous about the kiss at all.....We kiss a lot in front of his family lol Not making out but we're quick to give pecks or kisses. I'm nervous about the walk because I have anxiety and I'm not sure if I will pass out or not lol and my dad most likely won't catch me! haha

I am not a public kisser. My FH drops me off at work and always wants to kiss goodbye and I make him settle for a kiss on the cheek. I feel weird that my co-workers might see us kiss - but I guess some of them will be at the wedding!

FH and I have been joking about it, sometimes I'll say "You may now kiss the bride!" as practice. But, I guess, you don't want to get too frisky in front of grandma and the pastor, but you want to hold it long enough that the photographer gets a good shot. Right?
