Will you sleep separately the night before the wedding? Or are you ditching this tradition?

Well I'll be sleeping at my house and he will be sleeping at his house. We don't love together so this is kind of a no brainer for us.

When I mentioned this to my fiancé, he was definitely opposed to sleeping separately. He said he doesn’t want to add stress to the already stressful day/ weekend. I kind of thought he would have wanted to go the traditional route!

We thought about it. I had an early morning and thought it might be fun to have a quiet night with bridesmaids. But we ultimately decided to stay home together and maybe go see a movie and relax. That changed as well, because one of the bridesmaids ended up sleeping over. So the three of us made tacos, realized we had quite a few last minute wedding things to finish up, then went to bed. It was great!

Ya- coffee at least. He works shift work so it's always been our point in the day that overlaps and where we catch up. So, I think having that connection the day of is still important. We are getting ready separately and not doing a first look -so this is our chance to just be together (alone haha) before all the crazy.

Together - we've been together 7 years and have a house! We are sharing the room and he is paying, plus it's a destination wedding with only like his parents coming. (No bridesmaids/groomsmen) They are staying somewhere else unfortunately so I am not sure how we'll get around not seeing each other Smiley sad They have a changing room in another building, so we may have to do that. (Also who knows - his "getting ready" will be a fraction of the time as mine, so...)

We are ditching this one. It's too complicated to do with the kids. I'll be sleeping next to my honey the night before we wed.

I will be keeping this tradition not for any superstitions or things like that but because I want him to be totally surprised when I walk down the isle
