Analy-- you make me want to TTD! I keep thinking about doing it and your pictures are awesome. just one question, did it cost a lot more to schedule the shoot? not sure if FH would want me to spend the money on it.. but I would love to go somewhere 'off' in my dress.
@ kater-Lots of photographers include it as part of their wedding packages, just like e-photos. generally, it's not expensive. I can't really speak on pricing since my photog is a friend though. Thanks for the compliments!
In CA and other places they do a brides ball for breast cancer. There is actually a company that tells you everything you have to do to set it up. I hope to be a wedding planner some day and I would like to do this here to give brides a chance to wear their gown again. I didn't really care for the bossy tone of the people from the brides ball website. Maybe I will set up a ball for heart disease since that affects more women anyway.
I am totally TTD but not to the point that it's ruined. I told FH I was going to wear it as often as I could. I'm going to randomly put it on after the wedding when he least expects it and cook, eat and clean in it. LMAO. My friend who is getting married a month before me suggested we should have monthly wine nights and put our dresses on and hang out and watch movies. Too funny. Our FH's think we're crazy.
It will be QUITE awhile before I get any of that going. And I'd be very surprised if you ladies would fly to little old Oregon. But I will let you know how it's going.
@FINS- Funny- I love it. wear it cleaning the house.
FH and I were just talking about this. I can't see ruing a $2000. dress. I dont' care how great the pictures look

Hi there! I just want to say that a trash the dress session is supposed to be a fun shoot. You don't have to wear your actual wedding dress, a lot of brides are under the impression that you do, and the truth is you don't. I give out free e-sessions and free trash the dress sessions (your choice) with every wedding investment package. Some brides are very traditional, and some are not.
Here's a sample just so you can kind of see- also keep in mind that you don't have to necessarily "trash your dress" either.. The bride in this shoot purchased the dress for $11.00 at a thrift store, and it's just supposed to be a cute funny shoot.
Some of those were awesome photos. I really love the one that B2B posted on the stairs (The guy has the cool tattoo)
@Analy...I LOVE your TTD photos!!

@Andrea- I think the comments about people being judgemental were directed elsewhere... not on you You just asked a simple question, someone else inserted an opinion in this thread that I think a few people took offense to.
@Analy- Your pictures are SO cute! I especially like the last two. I wouldn't think of them as a type of traditional TTD though, more like just some fun after wedding pictures.
With that said, I would LOVE to do a TTD shoot, but oh my gosh, I'm so sentimental about things like that. I would be afraid my dress would get ripped or something. I don't care for the idea of getting a different dress either, because it's not like you're trashing THE dress, it's more like you're trashing A dress. I may cave and trash my dress though
I am not sure if I would do a TTD, I love the pictures and think it looks like fun, but I hate having my photo taken, so its not really down my alley. (although my photog would love me to do something like this)
