Neither. We’re both in our early 30s our parents are just happy for us. Plus we’re paying for the wedding ourselves.

My spouse works a 12 hours shift, I did most of the planning my self. I asked parents and friends to help. After all this is my day, I wanted it my way, not other people way.

None of them are really opinionated - my mother is slightly more vocal with ideas but not at all pushy. I guess we’re pretty lucky. paying for it ourselves gave us that advantage 😌

Neither. Both have shared limited opinions. My parents don’t want to walk me down the aisle together bc they had a nasty divorce. His mom doesn’t want us to elope.

I wouldn't say his family. I would say just his mom in general. She doesn't let her opinion go without saying it out loud with anything.

His mom is definitely the most vocal and excited about the wedding. She enjoys being part of the planning. His dad doesn't care too much about what we choose as long as we're doing what we want. And my mom is most concerned about us being happy and not spending too much money.
