I booked a "Bridal Afternoon" session as a gift to myself after postponing my wedding a year, and it was the best purchase. She met with me at a coffee shop and we discussed a mood board, venue, florals, and other ideas. I just got the gallery back, and am literally amazed at how good she made me look. Definitely a worthwhile splurge!! Even if you haven't booked Victoria Heer for your wedding, definitely do a bridal session!! If she was this attentive for just a session, I can only imagine her attention to detail for an actual wedding. I look forward to working with her again for future milestones and photoshoots :)

We had an incredible experience with Tori. She helped us decide where to shoot our engagement photos and did an amazing job covering our favorite places in DC, and she made our wedding so special. The single best wedding planning decision you can make is booking Victoria Heer Photography! I honestly don't know how to fully capture how amazing Tori is in a brief review. For our engagement shoot she flew out to San Francisco, helped in selecting our outfits, had location recommendations, and even made a stunning bouquet for me to use. Due to COVID we went through 3 different dates and from a big event in Vermont to having a micro wedding in San Francisco. We then had more venue changes and uncertainty 48 hours prior due to local wildfire evacuations. Tori stuck with us every step of the way and was always communicative, flexible, and professional. She really looks out for what you want as a couple and makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. All her photos are just stunning, she captures moments in a way you just don't see from other photographers, and frankly Tori is just fun to hangout with. We're so beyond thrilled with the way Tori captured our memories. When you book Victoria Heer Photography you're getting much more than wedding pictures, but an entire unforgettable experience.

Our wedding drastically changed due to COVID. Tori adapted, worked with us, and made our dreams come true. She is passionate, talented, fun, and a true artist. So many photographers in the area are bad a color correction in their photos. Tori is a true master. She and her team have a fun personality that make the day more joyful. We also booked Kramer for videography and his wedding video is extremely high quality. We wanted our photos to be more like a clip from a movie than an advertisement. Tori really caught the emotion of the day. My friend and family have rave reviews of the photos and were all blown away.

Tori is, by far, the best vendor we worked with in our whole wedding process and made our day a total dream.

I don't say that lightly because we were really happy with all our vendors too. She was very kind, organized, and made ourselves and all our guests feel at ease throughout the entire process. Both of our families had such high praise for her ability to get people together and ready to take pictures (especially on such a hectic day) while also being so nice and personable at the same time.

Not only that, but she's a fantastic photographer to boot. Our pictures came out gorgeously and really made us cherish our day.

When we talked to our married friends about wedding planning, the number one thing they recommended we invest in was our photos and photographer. After searching high and low, we were referred to Victoria by a friend and it took but one phone call to know that she was the person we should work with! Victoria is incredibly warm, engaging, knowledgeable, kind, organized, prompt, upfront, and of course, unbelievably talented. She guided us from our first consultation up through our wedding day with regular check-ins, detailed timelines and tips for optimizing our day. On the day of our wedding, she managed a VERY large wedding party and extended family through hours of photos with grace and efficiency, all while providing a warm and inviting energy that allowed everyone to relax and be their best selves for photos. She and her wonderful team (hi Joi and Kramer!) managed to capture every moment of the day while gently blending into the scene. They were such a joy to have at the wedding that we all danced together for a good chunk of songs at the end of the night! When we got our photos back (a mere month and half after our wedding, which in itself is impressive!), we were FLOORED. We have THOUSANDS of gorgeously composed, fine-art editorial shots that look like they belong in Vanity Fair. Victoria managed to capture the euphoria of the day in a way that we can relive over and over again. If there's one vendor you work with, make it Victoria Heer Photography. She is worth every penny and you will have memories that rival being back at your wedding.

I truly can't express how amazing Tori (Victoria Heer) is- We picked Tori because we didn't want the typical bright, airy super light photos- we wanted a photographer that is a bit more moody but not too dark that it looks fake- then we came across her Instagram and I knew she was the one!
Our engagement photoshoot was the perfect way to get to know each other- my husband and I do not like getting photographed and are pretty awkward- but she immediately made us feel at ease- didn't ask us to do anything unnatural, and worked with what we were comfortable with- even with me dripping with sweat, our photos are stunning.
For out wedding- things only got better. She made our wedding day fun and relaxed on a day you are usually anxious/nervous/stressed. It was really cold on my wedding day and we had to do a lot of pictures outside- the way she moved us through the day- making sure she got all the shots I wanted, quickly but uncompromising, kept us pumped up the whole time, and adapting to the little things that popped up that changed her well thought out timeline. Tori even wore a short sleeve top with a light sweater just so she knew how cold I was and when to let me have a break inside! I mean, who does that?!
She has an eye in the moment to capture whatever is happening around her, she was always on me to put my shoulders down, rest my mouth, tilt my head a certain way, etc. Which, as a bride who doesn't take a lot of photos herself, this was greatly appreciated! ALL of our bridesmaids and groomsmen couldn't stop talking about how awesome she was- she kept the day moving but kept it light and fun. I am telling you ladies and gentlemen- Tori is the real deal!
Besides her day of awesomeness- Tori was unbelievably easy to work with- she has never waited longer than a day to respond to me via email, and as an event planner myself who deals with a lot of vendors on a regular basis, this took so much stress off my plate. She was professional, patient, and didn't mind answering all my questions, even if I asked them multiple times.

Tori is extremely talented- honestly in a league all her own. My photos turned out so good that when I sent the link out to our friends and family, we had friends calling us, raving about how amazing they were, there were almost too many good ones to choose from (which is a good problem to have), how they are going to recommend her to any of their friends that get engaged, and one of our friends even said that they should get re-married just to have her!
Tori truly goes above and beyond for you, is SO worth every penny, and does the perfect job capturing the best day of your life. She really is the BEST EVER!

I found Tori via a wedding I was in that she photographed. I knew immediately that I would have to have her when I got engaged. She is upbeat, creative and all around amazing, highly recommend.

Tori is AMAZING - she is kind, has a fabulous eye, loves what she does, and is so fun to work with. I hate to be photographed but she made my wedding so incredible, SHE IS SO POSITIVE it is lovely. I was totally overwhelmed on my wedding day, it was emotional, I was tired and hungry - she was just the best. And her communication and follow up before and after are second to none. She even met with me and my now husband before hand so he could meet her and get comfortable with her - that was something that I so appreciated, and it made all the difference when it came time for her to photograph us. I didn't think that I would feel strongly one way or another about pictures, but I am so glad we were able to have her shoot our special day because for once in my life I love looking at pictures of myself.

She is professional yet so much fun and her attention to detail and the care she puts in to every meeting and session is out of this world.
