Whose parents are more opinionated (about the wedding)?

I am *eternally* grateful that our parents DID NOT CARE what we decided.

Or, to be more specific, their opinions were of this variety:
"Is this what you want?"

"How can we help?"

"Oh, that looks cool!"

The one person who apparently had an opinion was my mother, but since she didn't bother to support or help or even ask about the wedding for 5 months, she did not get a say. And then she got upset. And then she didn't come.

The rest of our parents ended up getting along like a house on fire, had a fantastic time at the rehearsal dinner, at the wedding, and even at their own little lunch (FOR THREE HOURS) the next day! So, I think we ended up on the plus side, here.

Neither are opinionated. mine are more involved only because he doesn't speak to his mother.

When it came down to finding a date his parents had lots of restrictions (we're having ceremony and reception at their house & his mom runs the city pool which takes up almost all her time in the first weeks of summer so it was difficult finding a happy medium) but since then both parents have been pretty chill- they will give advice and suggestions but don't get upset if we don't take their advice.

LOL they've been respectful about our wishes

It was his parents (mom in particular) now my mother is becoming very opinionated.

So far we've not had many strong opinions, which we are very thankful for.

Oh my GOSH, his parents are absolutely ridiculous. They have wanted to control as much of the wedding, not to mention, our LIVES, as they can. Mostly his mother. But, unfortunately for her, that's not going to happen. It's our life, not hers, so she's just going to have to suck it up. Can you believe she hurt my feelings with her crazies so much she made me cry in public?! Unreal! So, at the end of the day, it will be my Mom who we go to advice for, since my Mom is super sweet and laid back.

Definatly mine. My mom is a control freak and loves to be part of all the decisions. She hates that we are keeping the cake flavors a secret.

Mine most definitely my mother is paying for my dress , cake and the save the dates and invites so we have to compromise with her in order for her to by then

Neither! Both sets of parents are letting us plan and aren’t even involved unless we ask for an opinion and they all are excited about it

My parents and his mom have totally left it to us and only offered ideas and money! We specifically have not talked budget or wedding at all with his dad and stepmom. Stepmom is a crazy control freak who has already tried to convince us to change location

Neither they just wants us to have a nice wedding and everything goes smooth and for things to be Beautiful

My boo's mom is super opinionated and I think it's because she only had boys and never got to really wedding plan.

Both of our mothers are very OPINIONATED!

None they just let us do our thing

We are very lucky to have family that stays out of the planning and just look forward to celebrating that special day with us!

I would say mine, our dads aren't really opinionated so thats easy to rule out. My mom is definitely more opinionated than his, but I think it is because I'm her baby and the last wedding she'll have to help plan!
